The course of this institute is very dynamic, as per my experience the institute changed the curriculum with the latest industry demands. The setback is its exam structure, typical indian college memorize the thing and vomit the other day, it does teach to handle last moment pressure XD.

The job and placement is good as the Jadavpur University alumnis have proven their grounds in top MNCs and companies value the college. The companies coming to the college are all reputed and pay you a healthy sum.

Since the city of joy is known for its versatility, the institute is no exception. We at JU celebrate almost all the festivals along with college festival and other events whichh includes fresher party consisting of talent hunting programs and other fun activities for new comers we call it U-TURN, cultural festival named Sanskriti, tech fest called Srijan and some events also include a biyearly passout meet.

The fee structure is very feasible, it is only 3000 for a year for all department except the information Technology departure, for it its 30000 which is also feasible compared to other colleges. The side expenses including accomodation,fooding and transportation is also cheap.

The college offers a lot of scholarships for students who have financial problem as education is always the primary thing. The Institute also has a lot of scholarships for students with good merits.

The extracurricular activities are the prime area of interest among students. There are a lot of clubs which is open and free for all. One can join any club of their interest and club can help them nurture and grow.

The alumni network of the Institute is also very vast. The alumnis are placed in vast areas of expertise and there are periodic alumni meets which helps the current students be in touch with their passout and create a healthy network. Not only the passout but the senior junior interaction is also very healthy.

You need to give the WEBJEE exam which is run by the WB government. After scoring a decent rank in the joint entrance exam you get might be able to grab a seat in the institute. Students are sorted on basis of their ranks and then called upon to lock a seat in their respective branch. If a branch's seats a completely filled then that branch is unavailable for others. Once you lock your desired seat from the available ones you can start the monitory process to finalize your seat.

The faculty is very helpful and will guide you in every field. No matter whom you approach what their specialisation is in they will give to correct information or atleast guide you in right direction. The only thing is is one approaches
