Other than mess food everything is good And one more negative thing is they will not allow food fron outside though mess food is not good. They will not take any action on mess food and will not allow food from outside and they will debar if we bring food from outside

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college is best in that. Teachers will explain very well amd they will be very friendly such that you can go to them at anytime and ask doubts. They will cover all the topics that are needed. I completed my graduation in eee.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Our college will provide internship. But you have to do fast rack course. Many students got internship in iur college. Stipend depends on the comoany that is coming and hiring the students. You have to complete the semester before you go to internship

Placement Experience

I feel amrita is the best university for placements. You will get many companies. You should have cgpa well in order to sit for placements. Even after we completed our last semester., still we are getting manh companies. Almost everyone are placed in our college

College Events

Gokulastami is the main thing celebrated very well in our college. Branches will be decoratimg the college. And float work will be done. This work will start one month before Gokulastami and there will judges and will announce the branch winner and that branch will get award. And one more best and main event is Anokha

Fee Structure And Facilities

During my time it was two and half lakhs. Now i don't know. Hostel fee including mess is 45000. And college and education fees is remaining. For my juniors it is around 4 lakhs now. Now it is expensive i feel

Exam Structure

There will be 2 periodicals for semester and one semester exam. Botg the periodicals together carry 30 marks. Which means each periodical carries 15 marks. And class tests will carry 20 marks. And end semester will be for 100 marks. Which will be converted to 50 marks. In total 100 marks.

Admission

You have to write amrita entrance exam. Based on the rank they will call you for counseling. Rank wise they will call you. There will be 3 counselings. And amrita is in 4 olaces. amrita Coimbatore amrita banglore Amrita Amritapuri and amrita kochi. Coimbatore is tge main campus. You will get the branch based on your rank.

They are very very friendly as well as they are strict also in some conditions. Some teachers will stay there in the hostel. And some will come from outside. When ever you want to call them and ask doubt you can feel very free to call

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
