Remarks
Coming to positive remarks in this year had a great placements, now a days they are building the new classes, they came to give the elective classes, coming to negatives you know about the incident about a girl she has sucided at Sathyabama.
Course Curriculum Overview
I won't say that the curriculum is good on scale 1 to 10 I am give 7 why because there were some emerging technologies like python like they were not included in the curriculum, other than that everything is fine and good.
Internships Opportunities
Colleage doest provide any internship by our own we have search and we have to do on the outside. It is mandatory now-a-days, I have done my internship at Hyderabad by gaining the experience on it only I got the job at cognizant.
Placement Experience
In the year it is very good I was shocked many were placed j think so more 85% were placed, the recruitment is more, outside in all the colleages it is similar I think so. But I can that placement officer was too good he bought more than 250 companies to the colleage.
College Events
Christamas Colleages fests. Here one drawback in this colleage is there won't be fests in this colleage I think so very rare per year 1 or 2 but they will encourage the sports persons. Even our colleage students has won some medals too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Coming to the fee structure if we compared with the colleages like SRM and VIT the fee is too less even there won't be extra charges like paying money for the mess and paying for bus it won't be like that.
Fees and Financial Aid
Here in Sathyabama it is a minority colleage even the colleage will get the funds, some time circulars will come stating the scholarship only for the Tamilnadu students ,if his father expenditure is less as of normal they will provide the scholarship but I am not clear with that.
Campus Life
I can give 8 out of 10 to the labs, for computer science department we have great infrastructure as compared to the other branches even the the staff is very experienced staff we gain knowledge through them.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel in the sense in Tamilnadu if is one of the best college providing a best food for the students, I like it every much coming to neatness of rooms it is average but if we join in the hostel they won't allow you to outside, you have to send fax to Sathyabama from your parents and you have to leave.
Alumni/Alumna
Here there won't be a senior or junior all are equal in Sathyabama but some times seniors will conduct some clubs like rotary club ,CSE club, maths club, English club they will give some suggestions, I am from CSE club.
Exam Structure
We have totally 8 semisters so they will consider internals 50 and externals 50 I think so in some cases it better ,but in some cases it is too worst for each semister there will mid exams each carries 25%, if you fail in the semister and passed in the internal you have to re write the exam again.
Admission
Have to clear the entrance test exam, or by paying the donation , donation is not fixed it may varies with respect to the department,so I got the admission in Sathyabama by clearing the entrance exam, I thought I won't get the seat for the marks that I have obtained so my uncle went the university before the counselling date and asked them they said that your son Wong get the seat you have to pay the donation, but we have waited until the councelling date and I have got a drag in computer science and engineering.
Faculty
Out of 10. Scale I can give 8 to my faculty I can't say that all the staffs were good and they teach in a better way every one have there own way of teaching, but we have learn in the B.E we should not depend the staff.
