Course Curriculum Overview

3

You shouldn't expect much in the first year but if you over come your acedimics study the college provides unique and diverse coding clubs and other helpful clubs thus helps us tackle in real life problems in the computer science the coding subject needs to be improvised thus helps in understanding further about a programme

Internships Opportunities

4

We get internship offer's from cisco, tcs, Deloitte and the stipend starts from 28000 to 50000 to our senior's personally lead the projects related to block chain and social rising issues and thus the technology improvising too as I'm first year I don't know that many project names but I'll surely know after few year in my second year

Placement Experience

5

From 2nd year second semester or third year first semester we are eligible for placement and the percentage of placements very high and we have companies like cisco , Deloitte, google, tcs and many more big companies the highest package this year was 52 lakhs and lowest was 8 lakhs percentage of students getting placements was above 70 percent my plans after getting a degree is to get a govt job to provide good governance

Fees and Financial Aid

We pay atleast 2000 per month if it's college hostel As I got free seat through eamcet and the rank is below 10k actually 9591 so I don't need to pay admission fees and we pay lab fees and semester fee yearly 657 rupees they don't charge us with development fee as it is run by govt like if you get 10k or below 10k you'll get full scholarship and hostel scholarship too

Campus Life

4

We do have fests related to technology or fun activities and promoting festivals in like smruthi or sevalal which conducts sports activities and the facilities to books we have one of the prominent library actually two of them related to our stream and other important courses and we have coding clubs and student portals where we communicate through all mediums and thus helps us alot

Hostel Facilities

4

It is 3 person sharing room which are from cse dept but the specialization is different we have shelfs to put our thing's and cleaners will wash our washrooms daily once and rooms can cleaned anytime as they'll be available till 3 o'clock and the food quality is good and tasty they do provide veggies and meat tooo the mineral water system is also available to us

Admission

I chose this college because the avg package to the peers and the placement rate is high and the certificate from this College is far more superior to other colleges and for the private sector colleges we have to pay alot of tution fees but this college provides for free. The admission process is simple if you get rank in entrance exams . I didn't get rejected by colleges but I got seat in cbit which is apalling but later had to go through jntuh . But you can get seat in management quota

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio depends on the subject my stream is integrated dual degree programme of computer science and our faculty Renuka mam was very easygoing she was friendly and happy to share any news with us the professors were almost strict but they do provide necessity funds so that helps us alot for one year we have 2 semester exams and for one semester exam we have 2 midterm exams

Night Life

4

After the class we sit at cafeteria and play uno it'll help us relieve stress or we hangout at the ground which is very vast and the hostel timings for first' years are 6pm and for seniors the time varies the locality is safe but also comes with certain conditions and the campus closes at utmost 7pm even the club activities will stop at that time we hang out at libraries at exams season too personally I've experienced night life only few times

Other Applied Colleges

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology - [CBIT] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I got seat in jntuh

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
