Remarks

No there are no negative remarks. I just feel that the college fees is very high and the quality of faculty present in the college is only little disturbing because less than 20% of faculty members talk fluent english.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is excellent where the student starts learning about the their own respective stream from the first year itself. the course curriculum is made in such a way that it gives time to the student for studying college related subjects and then also give time for learning other things also.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, The faculty who all are there in each of their respective departments provide internships to the students who excell in academics and have sufficient knoweldge in the other fields as well. There are many clubs operating in SRM who offer internships to the students after some successive rounds of interviews. The alumni department also organises internship fairs where many students prove their worth and bag internships. Overall SRM creates many internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are on a very high note. I am graduated this year and I got placed in Accenture. This year the 4 Top IT giants TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, offerred 3400 jobs to the students. In this particular academic year 2018-2019 nearly 500+ Companies visited and offerred jobs to students. The Core companies placement opportunities are on a very high for Streams Of CSE, IT, SOFTWARE ENGINEERING, ECE only. For other branches need to fight for jobs in the IT sector,Marketing or need to bag offers from the companies who offer business development roles. Out the 500+ companies visited more than 60% companies offer IT job roles where knoweldge of programming and Coding becomes compulsory. The students of CSE IT SOFTWARE can manage this programming skill but how can students of MECHANICAL, EEE, AERONAUTICAL, AUTOMOBILE can excell in that skill. So the poeple of NON IT background bag job offers from marketing sales and business development companies. The companies which have provided dream offers are HCL(State street) Amazon Paypal Microsoft Infosys TCS Digital Amadues Royal Enfield Hindustan Uniliver Commutatus ZS Associates etc.

College Events

4.5

1)Aarush an Technical fest is conducted in september every year. Aaruush, one of the largest technological events of the country has kept up its tradition of innovation and has broken many frontiers. This techno-management fest is a platform for more than 70,000 young minds from not only India's but also the world's top institutions to bring forth their innovative thoughts and ideas. 2)Milan an cultural fest conducted In march every year. When thinking of the best college fests in India, one does not simply miss Milan on the list. Milan is the annual national level cultural fest of SRM University. With a plethora of domains and an even larger platter of events overall, Milan promises loads of fun for all kinds of individuals. Come, live the change with the 80000+ people attending Milan and we promise, you'll make memories and friends for a lifetime.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive Total Tution Fee leads to 2,50,000 every year and then hostel fee of nearly 1,25,000 every year which leads to 16 lakhs toward only college fee. after that the students will have nearly 1 lakh additional charges towards semester exam fee and other stationery fees etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

For students who have scored Top 100 Ranks in SRMJEE They get first year fee reimbursed. and all the students who score 95% above in 10th and 12th also get the same. the students who score above 9 every academic year get scholarship offerred from the college itself ranging from 15000 to 75000.

Campus Life

4.5

There are 2 big grounds, 1 for playing football and other for cricket and athletics. There are tennis, badminton, volleyball courts all over the campus. The labs are also very big and have sufficient equipment needef for studies.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel wise it is very good but when comes to food the food which is served tastes very bad and only south indian people can rely on it. The hostel infrastructure is very good when comapred to the other different colleges. The facilities are aslo very god and upto the mark as students have Kirana general stores, Barber saloon, Hospital Different food courts inside the campus only.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes their is a very big alumni network of srm who always provide positive feedback to the students. The senior students are always ready to help to every one without hesitation. The srm alumni association arranges alumni network meetings with the past alunmi where they can provide best inputs to us for better development in life.

Admission

I got admission into Srm by taking a test Called SRMJEE which is conducted in the month of April every year. This exam ranks are declared by the college itself within 1 month. Based on the ranks the college management calls the students for counselling in the month of May according to the ranks secured by the students.

Faculty

3.5

In each department some faculty members are very intelligent and very good at teaching and some can't even utter a single word in english. In srm less than 20% of faculty members can speak fluent english and teach properly. Srm lacks behind in faculty when compared to other colleges. Many faculty members have very good knowledge of the subject but can't express it out properly due lack of english fluency.

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.
