Remarks
The college provide good education and placements but at the same time it is not that suitable for the students coming form North and east part of india, but if a student can manage and afford the studies then a great future is waiting for them
Course Curriculum Overview
The course contain atleast 8 subjects every semester and it is according to the Department in which you are, but for the first 2 semester all departments will have same subjects. The course provide advance level of knowledge
Internships Opportunities
No our college do not provide Internships, we have to arrange internships by our own. college allows some of the companys to come inside college and ask students for internships but these internships are generally paid.
Placement Experience
The placements in our college is good (nearly 96.7% this year till now). It doesn't mean that 96 percent student of this year are placed, it means 96 percent of the student who apply for the placements are placed.
College Events
There are many events. Texas, String, Milaan, Alexa. All these event except Milaan are various department event like for CSE Texas is there, for mechanical String is there and for ECE Alexa is there. Milaan is university event which occur at very high level
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very expensive, SRM have four branch, I am form Ramapuram branch. The fee structure in our branch is 2 lakh for every course which has to be paid annually. Apart from it that take book and placements training fee which is 35 thousand
Fees and Financial Aid
In my knowledge there is no educational loan provided by our college. They provide scholarship to those student who score to 100 ranking in the entrance exam, also they provide scholarship of some amount to the University topper.
Campus Life
The college have well maintained proper lab for every practical subjects. In the field of sports they have basketball, badminton and volleyball courts. They are well maintained and are extended to quiet good area.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is an average place to live. Three Student have to adjust in one room but the food quality is good and they provides three time food to hostel students. They take 1.25 lakh as hostel and mess charges
Alumni/Alumna
The senior student are helpful. They regularly visit juniors classes to guide them and provide them information and updates about the clubs and events. Alumni network is not that good in my college case.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is very tough and torturing in this college. college takes 3 internals and 1 university exam every semester. On an average Student have to face exam every month. In internal exam the syllabus is 1 or 2 chapters from every subjects, but for university exam we have cover full syllabus
Admission
First I filled the online application form in January, then I gave my entrance exam in April, after a week the results (ranking) was declared. Then according to it I got my counselling call letter via email. Then I attended my councelling. They took demand draft of 10k as registration charges and a DD for my tuition fee.
Faculty
The faculty is helping and able to solve our all problems. The medium of communication is mainly English. They all are from Chennai. The way of teaching and their behavior towards student is good, but for some faculty this quality do not apply
