Feel of PGDM at SDMIMD

Many positives are there about the college and very few negatives. College is located at the foothills of Chamundi hills , Mysore which is filled with full of greenery. The atmosphere is such a way that positive vibes will be crested.

I cours curriculum well covers all the topics which are required to become an MBA professional and compete in the job market. They follow trimister system and evaluation process consists of mid term, end term, case studies, project, quizzes and class participation.

I got the opportunity to do the internship at Titan company limited, Coimbatore. I got a wonderful exposure about the manufacturing industry. I got to know about the works involved in making the employees feel motivated and increase their productivity. Stipend is 15000 per month. When coming to placements, our college achieving 100% placements everyyear with top companies like Oracle, Infosys, TCS, Ujjivan, Freudenberg and many more.

Our college is a hub of events and co-curricular activities. Four international conferences will take place on economic, human resources, finance and marketing. Abhigyaan event is celebrated which is a management fest conducted for the graduates from all over India. And also Naissance is a event conducted for post graduates from all over India. There are more than 15 committees working for the success of all the events.

The fee structure is 1082000 for a 2 year PGDM programs including the accomodation since it is a residential program. It is not expense compared to all the IlMs and many other prestigious institute in India.

The best program available is Student Exchange Program. The students are provided and opportunity to study in more than 10 prestigious universities across the globe. It is most unique and very less will get the opportunity.

More importance is given for the extracurricular activities along with the academics. Many social welfare activities takes place throughout the year. The labs are provided with advanced computer systems with updated softwares. Sports is at the utmost level with all the equipment available everytime. SPL a kind of IPL is played everywhere.

It is a residential campus and everyone should stay in hostel. Individual rooms are provided with all the requirements. It doesn't allow for any kind of noise in the room because of the roommate. It's is one of the best hostels and food available.

Since college is having 25 years of experience in providing management education, it has a huge alumni base. They visit the college every now and then and share their industrial experience with us. Many alumni are responsible for the achievement of 100% placement every year.

In the beginning I wrote CMAT exam and scored 84 percentile and applied for many institutes across India. Later I got a call letter from SDMIMD to attend personal interview. Out many colleges where I got seat, I chooses SDMIMD because of its international accreditation and wonderful learning environment which I got to know by consulting alumnus of the same.

The faculty have advanced industry experience and knowledge. They are experts in their respective domains. Many of them are the board members of many top companies. They give real time examples which are happening in the industry.
