No negative marks on college. I think Asusthosh college is the best colleges under Calcutta University for studying, for learning the courses, for helping, for the faculties,for the Newly modified class rooms for placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well subject. The full course is a job oriented and self financial course. The full syllabus is bsed on aquatic animals and plants which have industrial values.We have the old system of exam pattern- part system(1+1+1). But after 2018 this course has a new exam pattern of CBCS.
Placement Experience
Our college has a separate placement cell. After graduation you can apply for this or you can go for competitive exams training from our college, Actc building's training cell. And 2ndly our college has no internship facilities.
College Events
Asutosh college has the most attractive events. And our college has a cultural forum, name 'Udaan". Events starts from 17th july(college foundation day) and its continues to "APL,ASL, LALON THEKE LELON, POSTP THEKE PASTA, SARASWATI PUJA, ANNUAL SPORTS, FEST" etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure depends on the subject. But the fees of this college is very low cost. Like general subject hast the fees of 3k to 5k Iff- 18k Mass communication- History, Geography, English, Bengali, Etc has various types of fees depending on the installment basis and concession basis.
Fees and Financial Aid
College never provides any kind of scholarship. But our college helps students to get any kind of concession on their admission time. Our college give the notification of government scholarship scheme.
Campus Life
College has a common room for carrom, table tennis, dancing etc. College has a separate ground in Maidan area near Eden gardens. College provide sports kits. Labs are in a very good condition, all set up are daily usable and no shortage of lab materials.
Hostel Facilities
Our college has a hostel but this is situated in our 2nd campus or Bhasa campus. So we don't recommend our college hostel. The hostel distance is about 2 hour by bus or you have to change the journey process by different vehicle.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, senior students are very helpful. They all help you in any kind of problem inside the college or outside the college. They help us in study, fun or in other sectors. They never do ragging or misbehaving with juniors.
Admission
Atfirst filled the application form online basis. After publication the merit list, I went to the college for documents verification and admission fee payment. After that i got my roll no of the college and got a fees book for future use and the whole process of admission was ended
Faculty
Our college has 28 subjects and each and every department has a separate stuff room and separate class room also. We got separate professors for separate subjects. Each and every department has atleast 6 teaching stuffs and 1 or 2 non teaching stuffs.
