I got the seat through a process known as B-Category where in seats are alloted on the basis of JEE ranks. They release the notification month prior to the actual process during which we have fill in the applications through the portal and mail it to them and then later on on a fixed day all the applicants are called and seats are alloted according the merit list. The management is very supportive and helpful during this process and they are never hesitant of giving any suggestions to the students. The fees for the application is 2000 and around 1000 people apply for nearly 30% of total seats are kept aside for B-Category.The admission process is quick and simple and does not involve too many activities which is good thing as the student during those times has lot of mixed emotions and nervousness about the future college he is going to join. The application involves all the basic details and academic qualifications which can be filled without any problem. The allotments of seats consumes a day and if your top in the list then not even a day and as they call every student according to list their seats and branches are alloted.

The college basically calls for a necessity of a good score to be taken in one's 10th and 12th grades. In 10th and.12th grade, one needs to score above 80% for them to even apply for a management seat in the university. The reason behind this being, the curriculum the university follows is stringent on understanding the concepts deeply, and then applying the same into situations that post as questions in the question paper. So it takes more than just average marks in school, for them to judge if one can cope with their syllabi. Applied for the entrance through online gateway, and appeared for the exam, got my results in a month, and accordingly got called in for respective counselling date and day based on only my rank. The courses available at whichever branch of the university will be seen, and I had kept a couple of choices on my mind to select one amongst them whatever was available. The administration of the whole process was led by extremely well read professional academic teachers, who had a clear idea of the subjects and helped the students what they were about to take up.

The course structure deals with having a plethora of subjects in the first year, thereby giving all the students an idea as to how everything works based on science, and an idea of all the main course of engineering available throughout. 2nd, 3rd and 4th year, had it's focus only on the specific course in has chosen, and every semester had electives to choose from depending upon an individual. With focus on research, the unbelievable amount of depth put across to every subject taken helps us understand and re think what we would really love to do further after the end of ones under graduation. This kind of in depth knowledge and assimilation of all subjects not only helps in knowing the course better, but also helps us in relation each subject with each other, because as we all know, deep under science, almost everything is having the same root.

All the students are given equal importance. we have dress code (college uniform) to maintain uniformity. Girls are given equal chances as boys in every aspect even in NCC. We have 2-3 workshops every month for every department and also field trips. We have SAC(Student Activity Council) we students organize all the events of the college. We do have many events related to technical and cultural events. Every year we have VVIT cultural and technical fest, last year it was best fests from the state with more than 5000 participants from out side colleges and more than 10000 visitors. Its a 2 day fest followed by annual day. We have many other technical competitions and events for every department.

The whole year some or the other event keeps on going in the college. Various technical events like Cyber Srishti, IC3, ICSE, Manual Robotics Event, Google Developers are organised. Cultural Fest- IMPRESSIONS is a 2 day techno-cultural festival. It has an average footfall of 9-10k students. Other famous events- JMUN(best MUN in Delhi Ncr), Unplugged(Music Festival), Joust(Literary event), Aura(Photo exhibition), Dandiya Night, Fun Sports Meet. The events are pretty well organised. The college authorites do take part but only in international conferences or technical events. They are generally not in much favour of cultural events but some how or the other they still agree.

I appeared for JEE Mains after 12th std. The reasons why I landed up here: Firstly, the college directly takes the JEE mains score, so there are no other Interviews or separate exams. Secondly, the college has a very good reputation in private engineering colleges. Thirdly, I wanted to stay in North India and the college is located on a very prime location. I chose Electronics and Communications Engineering(ECE) as my course. From 10 onwards I was always interested in Robotics. The opted course provided me with the relation of Robotics to today's IOT world. So it the best choice to make.

Yes the college oragnised many events. Mostly technical & cultural. All were mostly annual feats. They were really big. Many students from other colleges in city came to our college feats. Footfall was around 3000 people. College authorities guided students in organising but students did the execution.

The placement is very nice in my college from what I have seen. This year, only 20 to 30 may be are not placed but they are trying for off-campus placements. The average salary that I know of is 3.5 to 4 lakhs. Companies which visited are IBM, Accenture, Wipro, TCS and many other companies like Tata. The technical round for all branches is very tough. I heard from seniors that they all are asking generally basic questions from all fields. I really don't know about the stipend offered. Now I am in the 2nd year and I have completed my training in JUSCO(TATA). The internship will be done in summer 2018, may be 80% students got the internship this year.
