And after getting the rank in wbjee online counselling will done on the basis of rank after that the college will be allotted to you. I gave the common entrance test (CET) test. I filled the form online and then waited for the admit card to come. I had chosen the center as Bangalore. It consisted of two papers. the first paper was conducted in morning and was of mathematics and the other paper comprised of physics and chemistry. After this the exam results were declared and i had to move KEA center for verification and later selected the college of my choice.

The exam structure is not in the hands of the college. Since we are affiliated to VTU , the structure is mainly decided by the university to ensure uniformity in all colleges. Campus life is all of luxury style.no one gets bore there they are all like family.the best one is tht our campus is evergreen campus which is in 150 acres and with sports ground which is biggest one in shivaji University with floods which looks amazing at night. There are workshop which is biggest in University .

The college gives the students ample opportunities by letting them organize and host various technical / cultural fests in the college. The fests were organized at State/National level where the students from colleges all over State and National were participating. These events will give chances to almost all of the students to participate in some way or the other. Either they will participate in organizing them or they will actively participate in presenting some recent technology paper. The college will have new season of welcoming new students by organizing cultural events, sports events , freshers competitions . The new students will love it .

The students were a mix of Candidates on getting scolarships from Govt of Maharashtra (Candidates from Maharashtra) , candidates from Army quota has different fee structures. There were few seats reserved for the candidates from states of Himachal Pradesh , Assam , Manipur (based on University / government of India). The fee structures were differing based on the category of the seats they were applying for. There were students who were availing the loan from the banks and college was supporting in providing all the relevant documents.

Placements and job opportunities has always been very good. It was nice and we expected similar things. Faculty of our college has always been good. They were nice and we expected similar things. All the good MNC like TCS,wipro,Zensar,Tata Technology,ACC,Prism Cement,Amdocs,Persitence,Hexaware,GlobalLogic came to our college.the average package is 4 lk. They placement rate is highest among the region. Our college provide on Campus and Pool Campus drives.Along with that they also gave us opportunity for exams like cocubes,amcat etc.

After the written exam, there was a notification released by the AP Education department to proceed with the allotment of Engineering seats based on the candidates ranking in EAMCET,which will be done in through counselling to give the options to the students to choose the colleges and branches based on their area of interest. This has happened 2 months after the examination.In order attend the counselling we need to carry few mandatory academic certificates to valid and it has been done by EAMCET administrative authorities. After that, the candidate would be shown with an option of colleges and groups available in the system.Finally, the candidate will make a choice and the admission allotment letter will be given to the candidate with the date of joining in the respective college.

I took EAMCET entrance examination to pursue Mechanical Engineering.As my college matches to my ideology to fulfil my dreams by sticking to the obligations providing the better infrastructure in terms of faculty,equipment,labs from the technical side. At the same time, I found there would be a better chance to improve my social skills by grooming my self in participating ongoing events like Symposiums, college cultural events, workshops and techfests. This entrance test consists of 160 questions comprising of Maths,Physics and Chemistry subjects and I got 105 marks to get the admission into my desired stream.

Placements in our college is the best among all the colleges in Karnataka, usually every year around 280 companies will visit the campus almost 80% of students will get placed, companies like Microsoft,Intuit, Samsung,Adobe etc. comes for coding profile and for core beaches borsch, Tata hero, Volvo etc will come and 3-4 PSU will also come. Packages are as follows Microsoft 22lpa,Intuit 20lpa,Adobe 20lpa, Bosch Tata hero will be around 6-7lpa and PSU like HPCL,BPCL,IOCL will come they offer 12lpa For IT and comps average package is 10lpa For core branches 6lpa

There will be many events in the college which will keep students busy during their academic year, there are basically two big fest's one is a cultural festival one is tech fest. Tech fest is called as ENGINEER and it will be in the odd sem and in this fest falg ship events will be conducted by Mech committee and tronix committee, mechanical committee will conduct events like Bot hockey, perfect machine, Wright flight, velocity and the most crowd pulling event ROBO WARS. It will be fun to watch all of these events and to participate in them.

Labs are awesome. I think the campus life is the best life i have ever experienced. The atmosphere is surreal and the campus is so beautiful that sometimes i feel like it is god's own campus. You can really check out videos. Many many competitions happen and many clubs like drama, dance, robotics, photography, football, yoga etc are there. you can just chill when you are bored of your studies by going to the bank of bramhaputra.

The course I was in, is Mathematics and Computing. IIT Guwahati has awesome faculty members who help student throughout the course. Many PhD students are there who are equally helpful. Professors always encourage students to fulfill every little interest about the subject. Professors are really really good in their research areas and they give very good projects to students for further research.

Placement is very good for UG, no of companies like l&t, general electrics are providing job aportunity to students, but for PG placement is average. But PG student can get jobs in the teaching field as VJTI has good reputation in Maharashtra no of colleges provide lectureship to students.

The college alumni network is one of the strongest bonds which connect all the students into one platform. There is a healthy interaction with the seniors and most of them are helpful as in, providing help in studies and projects. The alumni also help by building confidence as for how to face the technical world and sharing their views in the technical environment. I had an interaction with a group of seniors and alumni who helped me to decide my project and shared their experiences in technical world as well as internships.

Placements of my domain were good till last year but this year not many core companies have visited the campus till now. The ones which have visited include; Hyundai, L&T, KPIT, Maruti and Suzuki. And many had to visit in the coming months. The average package for my course goes somewhere around 4-5 LPA (lacks per annum).Till now Maruti and Suzuki took 4 students from my course with an annual package of 6 LPA.
