at first WBJEE board,i.e. state joint entrance board opened online counselling which held in three parts in which we had to fill our choices of colleges with our preferred stream, after some days they will upload the college seat available for us, if we are happy with the college and stream after 1st counselling result then we have to go to their desired center to get that sit in that particular college, where enrollment will be done. in my case I was not happy, so I also go to their center for graduation, I was also not happy with the 2nd counselling result, then I upgraded further following the same process, the last result of counselling which was 3rd counselling, I got this stream and this college-for which I was happy.so I enrolled.then particular college or institute, in my case TECHNO INDIA SALT LAKE gave us a particular time for orientation and admission.so I attended so, they gave us brochures, fees structure of the college, and we give them admission money to get admission.after that we went to their administrative office to get our identity card and a library card from a library, they gave us the date of first class and other formalities were done.that's how the admission was done.
campus life is the best part of my life. I have never been more felt so refreshed in my life when I entering my college.our college has 3 playing ground which I find unique in Kolkata because most of the private colleges doesn't have fields at all,few of them have 1 small field, only very few private engineering colleges have this.as far as our education life is to talk about, our college is not all robot type students who only are bookworms, as we have best tech fest in kolkata and state after IIT KGP, each year we find ourselves engaging never-ending creativity and learning process.all the year has been fun for me because we had many workshops of departmental subjects, sometimes non-departmental subjects.we learn throughout the year in Techno India Salt Lake

Accessing faculties regarding any doubts are very simple. The teachers are friendly enough to share their contact details or make out some time to solve our difficulties. However, not all teachers are very good at the subjects they teachs or maybe aren't good at delivering the matter. Yet, the senior faculties are way too good in what they do, they not only teach but makes us create our own point of view. And most of the time it is so inspiring and almost the only driving force to finish the entire semester. I have had 4 such teachers in past two years.
Technical fests: Technovanza: Competitions conducted Robowars, Robo sumo, Vjti robotics challenge, smart city, IGBS etc Cultural fests: Pratibimb, Rangawardhan. Pratibimb is an all rounded event having dances, dramas, activities, ramp shows, Mumbai's got talent, singing etc.. While rangawardhan mostly focuses on Marathi events. There's an entrepreneurship cell, which conducts startup Netcon, and SVC where budding startups get real investors to pitch in. And there are other competitions like the Consultant, Campuspreneurs etc

Two mid-term exams and the semester exam. There are around 5 labs classes in a week.We have to submit around 2 lab reports a week. Late submission is not entertained. Discipline is the most important in college. We still felt like it is a school. We can't be a min late in the morning otherwise whole day attendance will be cut. There are 5 marks for attendance also.
Placement is good. Around 80% got placement. But in mass recuriting company in TCS Wipro Infosys. The company in core branch are very less. A package is also not good 3- 3.5 lakhs p.a Very few around 20 - 30 students got 6 to 12 lakhs pa. Around 1-2 student got 15 lakhs pa. Total no of student is around 800
The seniors and alumni were very interested in our daily and weekly stuffs. They used to get updates from us about our progress and used to guide us and help us in the studies. Also, they had very good connections in the industry and used to invite us to their companies to meet a couple of people from time to time.
Students who are interested in pursuing the mba course from this college must have passed the graduation from any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and 45% in case of reserved or any other category. The admission process is simple and easy. The management is friendly.
There was no entrance exam I got admission on the basis of cut off marks. I opted this college because it has good academic rank and it's a north campus college. If your marks satisfy the cut off criteria you can get admission. You will have three days time to get admission.it was a good experience because the staff which was verifying the documents were very polite and dedicated. On the day of admission, I got some friends.
Ramjas has a great experience of 100 years. Teachers are friendly and humble with great knowledge and experience. There is always a friendly environment in the college. Students are also good. I think it is the best college of north campus
The events in the college were celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and everyone wanted to be a part of it. So the college used to give chance to all the students one by one in a form of a group and asked them to manage the tasks and operations as a team effectively and efficiently. A new and tested method to teach students about the team work.
The faculty of the college were good and friendly. They themselves had the working experience of 10years in the corporate world / industry and used to make the students life a place where they would get a chance to learn and improve themselves. They understand the market trend and would teach them accordingly.
The campus life was good and all the students were very much involved in hanging out the college and having chance to try new food outlets. Although, the food available in the canteen was also good, but students used to love to try out new places and being in a city with easy transportation available, it was a win win situation for all.
The placement season was very tensed and exciting. There was a mixed feeling in everyone's heart and mind. Everyone wanted to get the best opportunity and offers from the company and for that, everyone had worked very hard to achieve this. The average package was around Rs6 lacs per annum with additional benefits.

1st you have to participate in online counseling named JOSAA in which you have to fill your choices like whats your desired branch in which college so I have also filled up the choices and I was allocated information technology branch in IIEST Shibpur in 2nd round .there is total 7 round in JOSSA. after that, we need to verify the documents so I went to the college there were 3 officers who were verifying the documents. They were working continuously so my verification was completed within 2-3 hr unlike some college where it takes 5-6 hr. After that when all the rounds were over you need to visit again for admission with verification letter and all the documents mentioned on the official website so, I did and completed my admission.
just after almost 1 month of joining we had an inter-branch tournament of football of 1st-year students and in the winter time that is 2nd semester senior told us we Will have cricket tournament. There is basketball ground, swimming pool and gym also. In my branch there is only 7 girl in 64 students and roughly 1:7 will girl: boy ratio in campus there is only 1 problem other states guy will face and that is called Bengali: V There are many clubs like for dance there is reflexo beta for music and instrument there is euphony for programming there is CODE IIEST and for robotics there is Robodarshan and much more so overall you will get everything of your interest and believe me your campus life here will be awesome.
The faculty of the college are sometimes under rated due to a lot of other factors, but I would say that this college and course would not stand a chance in the industry if the faculties of the college were not so amazing at what they do. They have been a constant supportive pillar to both management and the students.
The course is designed keeping in mind the needs of the industry, students having background and experience of working in a company and not working / freshers. The college has to maintain a balance between this and prepares a lesson plan which is suited for all these stakeholders. Lectures are good and interesting.
The entrance exams level was moderate. All the questions were good. I secured a good rank in the entrance exams and was getting B.tech (CSE), that's why I opted for this college. The admission process is smooth and there is also rush during the admission. Well, I met many people and got to know more about the college. Everyone was interactive.
Well, the college provides internship in the college itself. Main recruiters are Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro. The college pays enough attention to students during placement time. They train them for every aspect of the technology industry.

campus life is pretty awesome.the event at night campus shops and the nearby area of the shops remains very lively always.shops remain open till midnight during the exams.there is 4:1 of male vs female as always seen in the engineering colleges. There is no surprise in that.college is well diversified. Extracurricular activities always used to go on the campus related sports, drama, music &artsetc. labs are quite old-fashioned the instruments and equipment have not been replaced since very long. They have been working on and on for i think 10 years they have not been updated but still, the experiments are all used to get performed really very well irrespective of their versions and updating. No problem comes in the performance of the experiments when their execution time comes.
I got admission in this institute via UPSEE counseling. I got this college in the first round of counseling. After allotting the college, I was instructed to get the college and proceed further the documentation and submission of the fees in the college itself. The next day I went to the college directly.First, the receptionist enquired from me about the reason of my presence here then gave the answer further she escorted me the way toward the room where the admission procedure was going on.The way of speaking of the receptionist was pretty good and eye-catchy.

Campus life is good you will enjoy its environment it's near Sikharchandi Hill near Chandaka reserved forests. You can hear the peacocks in the morning. Normally gender ratio is 4:3( f:m) its variable. Hostels organize different sports and cultural events between borders. Yes, you get exposure to high-level workshops on different topics which help you a lot. Workshops on technical to social subjects organized. Exports are called. Sports is also organized annually. Yes, many technical events are also open to the student. College also provides coaching for GATE, CAT Many students qualify GATE every, in fact, I have done also. Few years before EC AIR 3 was from this college. College also provides interbranch projects wherein a project team students from all branch can be there.
Silicon is too strict to its academics and discipline of students. Classes labs put so much strain on students he gets less time for doing something of his own. Yes, produces a lot of placed students in software companies, BPUT toppers (almost in every exam) but kills innovation in students. It still remains in that classic methodology of teaching where all efforts are put on syllabus only. It's not its fault the University has to design a syllabus which makes students work on their own idea and has to stop teaching father's times subjects and one branch core subjects to any other branch which are of no use now.
Some faculties are not good...they don't have manners to talk to students...don't know what they think of themselves. But some faculties are so wonderfull...my favourite teacher is Shashi Kant Madia sir
Favourite subject is mathematics...I don't think there is need of any improvement

It's feasible. we gave 37500 for the 1st semester and every year it increments by Rs.500.In comparison to other colleges where its Rs.60,000, the fee structure OS quite economical. For every semester exams, we need to pay 1000 Rs as examination fees. Also, the scholarship facility in our college cuts the fees by some amounts making it easy for some students who have finanacial problems.
The faculties of our college are highly qualified worth at least 2years experience in professional teaching line. They are all pass out from renowned institutions of India. They are very helpful and efficient towards their professional duties. Also, they are very friendly and resolve all our academic problems.

I have don 12th from Thakur college then after clearing 12th I give entrance exam for engineering so then after getting marks we have to buy one form which has ID and password for online admission process there was 2 form 1st for reserved and 2nd for general so i purchased reserved category form because I am SC and then I fill up the form online there we have to uploads marks of 10th 12th and entrances exam nd photos and signature also then after uploading all my information we have to vary this information at the camp of engineering documents verification which is at various college so i go to Vidhyavardhini college because it was near to me so when i go there with my documents to verify they want my cast validity document but I was from UP and there was no such thing as cast validity in UP so I research about it then I came to know that reserve category of Maharashtra only get cast validity document so then I have to take admission in general category which has 1 lakh fees for 1 year. This process is a disappointment because this makes no sense to give admission to only Maharashtra reserved category, not to other states reserved category.
Exam structure is hectic in engineering because firstly we have to submit to file of the respective subject which has almost 40-50 assignment each. Then there is viva and practical exam for the specific subject only not for all. Firstly the external always come late to conducted exam so all students suffering from from tension that when the examiner will come what qsns he will ask all that and then the external will come after 1-2 hr after the exam timing then the practical exam will be conducted and then external will take viva on which topic you have done the practical which is most terrifying time most of the student get reviva who didn't perform well , each day different practical exam is conducted then after all practical and viva exam 20 days of holiday is there to prepare for final exams each exam has almost 1 week gap so there is good time for preparation but for KT students it is very difficult to manage backlogs and current exam after a whole 1.5 month exam is over this 1.5 month is the most terrifying time and there is 2 such exam in 1 years
Entrance exam was geese and I opted for this college because I could not get admission elsewhere. Everyone gets admission.
My course is B.tech CSE. There should be a more practical approach towards the subjects.
The gender ratio is the same as anywhere else in the country. The number of girls is obviously lower but not that much here. Varies within departments. Students from all over the country have taken admission and some from abroad too. No place for sports. No ground to play. The campus is not that big, just big enough to organize many extracurricular activities competitions etc.
I got direct admission to this college through CAP round which was according to my JEE and 12th marks and some other criteria. After I got allotted this college I just had to submit my documents like 12th mark-sheet, JEE mark-sheet, migration certificate, leaving certificate and fee in the administrative office to complete the admission process.

Yeah, we've this cultural fest and technical fest once a year in our college. There are several functions as well as programs starting from dancing singing. Several rock bands have come to our college fest and we are proud of it. Also, every expense is bared by the students and no money is taken from the management. They also provide free lunch to every student participating infest
Exams were like no issues. We have an online test for internal tests. For the semester exam, we have to give it offline and the question paper came from the university The examiners are very strict but they don't harass you or something, but if they catch you cheating they'll cancel your paper. also, no cheating is allowed in our college and I love it that way.
I had written the paper of UPSEE and secured a good rank and through internet and carrier 360 sites this college was coming in range with accordance to my rank The admission process was very firm, first we all gathered in the seminar hall and then accordingly we were told what to do.
There is two festival which arrives in our college the one is for cultural, literally and others the another one for sports rather we have all departmental societies who encourage students to take part in various events.

A college campus is located in the city of Pune, adds stars to its prestige. An open opportunity is available for the students to prepare themselves for various activities, examinations, events, apart from engineering. Considering gender ratio, boys are to girls ratio is 70:30. Most of the students are from North India including UP, Bihar, MP, etc. There are few foreign students. Outside students get aware of the Marathi culture including dressing, food, Ganpati celebration, etc. Labs of the college are best having all the equipment related to the subjects. Various games are held at Sports level including cricket, volleyball, basketball, football, etc. In fact, the college has its own state-level football & cricket team.
I was allocated Production Engineering according to my rank in CET. My rank in CET was 3771. The best thing about production engineering is that it is the sub-branch of Mechanical Engineering. So subjects are almost similar, plus production has some syllabus related to industrial and automobile engineering as well as management. The other thing is Production Planning in which students are thought to make various jobs of carpentry, moulding, tinsmith, etc with the help of Lathe, drilling, CNC machine in college Workshops.
