VNIT has nice gatherings. We have DG, IG, AXIS, CONSORTIUM, AAROHIdg is deparental gathering all people in a department like in Ece get rogether and do some fun activoties, they play games and stuff. it is really fun. IG is institute gathering and in this all departments together play games and competitions and finall determine a winner. It lasts for an entire week. It is most of fun in alll the events. AXIS is vnits tech fest. Lot of competitions like robowars, coding games and bridge building etc are organised. It is also good. Aarobi is cultural festival and consortium is the management fest.

Exams are not too hectic. We have 2 internals for 15 marks each, and one end semester for 60 marks. 10 are for teachers assessment. Mostly given by attendance, and some tests in class etc. Hia is completely in professors hands. Sometimes they also give some assignments and award marks out of 10 for these assessments. Although maths department gives based on the sessional marks out of 30. So if you perform well in sessional exams you gwt an extra 10 marks.

Events celebrated here is very good. i attended a fresher night i enjoyed a lot there. ritesh deshmukh came to entertain the freshers. dj night arrangement is also very good here. I have also attend a autumn fest i enjoyed a lot it was full of fun. my friends participated in various things like dramatics sports dance ets and they won.

Exam conducting is very good. strict rules are follows for the examinations. Teachers do a strict checking. There is only one entry open during examination. Even u cannot move your heads. also other faculties come to check whether you are doing your examination proper or not.

Placements and job opportunities are very good . Average person will definitely get a good job. TNP (traning and placement department ) is very active and always focused on in creasing number of placements and getting companies to college for hiring new talent. They used to allow only one placement per student.once student got selected for one campus interview he wont be able to join another interview.

Course was very well structures for computer science students and curriculum was very busy and interesting. Total 8 semester with each semester at-least 5 subject both theory and practice in each semester .Exam will be twice mid term, final. You have to clear 10 subject in each semester.(5 theory,5 practical).

Its good for ug course, few faculties in departments were alumni of aiims pgi and jipmer n afmc, but impoortant thing is seniors will tought u about how to learn over clinicals and evening classes and practical patient bed side teachings during ur final prof and many faculties are student friendly, even u cant imagine, so friendly they are, just u have to off course study.

Good curriculum and study atmosphere but few research works in this setup but i did one ug student research sponsored by icmr during my second prof in department of pediatrics and department of pharmacology with Dr Bandana Rath and quite interesting for an ug to know the reseaech questionare formation statistics and data collection etc.

Females are more in no. than the male. extracurricular activities are the identity of the college. we use to have seminar and lecture frequently by different departments and societies of the college. Our College parliament also organise a big seminar with different starcast and politicians.

The course is designed to be more practical and in accordance with the current learning habits. We have labs, museum and own pond to carry our practical. we have subscription of a no. of scientific journals and paper. Fully innovative and advanced labs with scholar Faculty members.

Gender ratios: pretty skewed in ECE/ EEE. A 1:10 Girl to boy ratio. Workshops: many workshops and opportunities to learn through IEEE, TSG and android techies societies. Cultural societies: Divine circle that organises Sikh festivities and "paths"Student diversity: atleast half the students are from the sikh community. Most people are accepting of others and friendly. I don't feel like you ever have had a fight over differing view points. When friends, some sikhs might not mind criticism of their religion. Obviously. Sardar jokes aren't tolerated. Being a DSGMC institute, sikh men are expected to wear a turban.

No. The placement and internship cell is lacking and not many companies hire interns. There are no industrial visits or anything of that sort. The college did organise an in-house training but after a week it dwindled to nothing. The college does however provide an opportunity to work within startups founded by fellow college mates. The IEEE society might also be beneficial for meeting professors or joining trainings at other colleges.

Course curriculum was good enough. Faculty was good enough and always support you but placement for IT is poor but good for MBA & BBA. I gave IPU-CET entrance exam for this and no interview procedure only rank based. I got around 3000 rank in CET exam and there are two shifts morning & evening. I opt this college because it was near by my residence location.

st. Andrews conduct a scholarship exam on national level. I gave the same exam n even i got scholarship also. the eligibility to get admission in st. Andrews is have to score at least 45% in 12th if admission is required. I opt for this college because one of my friend already studied in this college and i heard so many good thing about it. They also provide loan facilities.

About Hyderabad CampusAll the festivals are celebrated with equal importance and in a well planned manner. Aloha is the freshers fest which is held for 3-4 days. Eid : Awesome Biriyani and Haleem will always be the highlight of the day. Onam : Traditional dances and Some fun activities is followed by Onam Sadhya which is as always tasty. Ganesh Chaturthi : It last for 5-7 Days and everyday pooja is held and first and last day is the highlight followed by a day in between where all the staff join the students for a wonderful lunch and the visarjan followed by some cool dance stuff. Placements are generally good in NICMAR and it again totally depends on how a candidates cracks it. They have opportunities from India and also GCC region. Packages varies from Freshers to Experienced. But its generally good as far as the construction industry is concerned. To name a few companies which visited Hyderabad campus for our batch. Campus is located in such a place where there is no disturbance of traffic, decent environment and best during winters. Gender ratio is pretty equal no much difference observed. Students from both North and South India join. There are plenty of extra curricular activities one for social cause like LEAD, Karavali Sports organized every year, labs are good enough to work and there are enough resources available for the batch. Many competitions like robotics, workshops on IOT, Python etc. were organised during our days.

Placements are pretty good considering the location where SDM is situated. There were enough number of Companies that visited the campus and as per latest updates placement curve is increasing. Current placement officer has played good role in getting many companies in past few years. Salary offering ranges from 3. 3LPA to 14 LPA until 2015.

Post the face to face interview, the results were updated on the college notice board. I was really glad to see my name there and further admission process was conducted in the college admission office. There was a form which was needed to be filled by all the personal details and the academic details. All the necessary documents were attached for the reference.

The faculty was highly qualified and experts in their field. They were either P.H.D. or have cleared difficult entrance exams and have reached this level of expertise. They were having good experience in teaching field and went down to understand our mindsets to make us understand difficult of subjects in the easiest manner.

The college has qualified and knowledgeable faculty members. But some are still not too good (maybe my bad!). Not sure of the ratio of faculty to students. The college has a good industrial exposure. It has a useful course curriculum, as it is practical. A huge number of companies visit in different parts of the year for different purposes. Faculty members are enriched in knowledge, but one gets to make contact with them. They like if one asks them questions and interacts. There is tough question paper setting. The standard of evaluation and marking is pretty high. It takes a good amount of hard work to score well.

Course structure is according to university and is quite good according to academics and experience. Assignments are also there to cope up with the external environments seminars and workshops are also provided regularly so that we can be aware off the corporate world. Electives are according to the wish and status of knowledge of students which is also well designed.

In st Andrews institute student get their projects assessment and test every month by their respective faculties. which helps in improving our skills and also help in placement. also help in getting good marks in internals as well as in externals. faculty complete their courses on time and because of that we get more time for revision and solving queries.

In 2016, 67% students have been placed until now. The highest CTC until now is INR 32, 00, 000 per annum, average salary figures are 5, 15, 000 per annum. Total companies that have visited the campus are 56 including key companies like Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Wipro and TCS. The students are offered various technical and managerial jobs.

The faculty members in our college is from reputed colleges and are having a wide knowledge in each and every feild. Although all faculty members are not good. Some new faculty members not as good as the old one's. The old faculties are very good and they gives us idea on doing new researches as well as in getting a startup. The faculties live by being a fried for students and help us alot in our problems regarding any topic.

In Jadavpur University exams are frequent we have each semester in 6 months in which we have 2 class tests between each semester. Odd semesters are of longer period and but semester are as usual. Class test are frequent and carry 30% marks weight age and semester weighs around 70% for calculating the final result and we also have viva.

Its standard practice followed 2000 to 2009 ,out of 8 question you have to answer 5. The course and curriculum is based on the guidelines of RGPV, Bhopal the examinations, programs and seminars go according to it with equipped faculty that supports every student HOD&s of various departments are post graduated and they focus well on all aspects.

Very nice and student oriented faculties.The day goes out quite busy with the timings 10 am to 5 pm but a break of 1 hour in between chills you up. Do not have any restriction on practical timing labs are open 24*7. The way some of the faculties are teaching had help in several area, very good programming techniques.

College celebrate almost all festival and have different set of inter and intra college competition. The college events are talent hunt independence day, teachers day, traditional day, brand slam PUMBa raan bhumi there are a huge amount of participation in each event. Especially in PUMBA and Raan Bhumi as they are inter college event more.

Exams are conducted in very sophisticated Manner and you need to study for clearing it. if you won't able to score 50 marks you will get backlog. The exam structure is a bit hectic as there are exams everyday. But the paper is divided in 40 and 60 so we dont feel the stress. Library is well structured and have more than 30000 books. cont.

It is one of the best colleges to do a B. tech in power engineering from. This college not only focusses on lectures but also takes the students on power plant visits regularly. Students of this college visit power plants from their second year only, while in all other colleges, it starts from the 3rd year. Therefore, this is one of the advantages of this college. Moreover, the training provided by this college is so good. Faculty of college is very enthusiastic and helpful. Senior professors are full of knowledge. College labs are standardized and in good condition. The computer labs are full AC ventilated and very clean.

This college has a good team of teaching staff members, and a well-organized wide campus. It is an autonomous college affiliated to Maharishi Dayananad Univeristy. The college is located in a healthy environment of greenery, and a comfortable and fully facilitated hostel is also available inside the campus itself. The hostel provides a healthy and tasty enough food at the right time. It is the best institute for the professional courses. I have chosen this college as it is one of the best colleges in haryana, and I am very happy to be a part of this institute. The placement availability is also very good in this college.

The college placement cell is working through out and help get best placements. Companies such as paytm, ibm, freelancer, etc are called to recruit the students. Students at a large number are chosen. The process continues until maximum number of students are placed. The pay differs from company to company. However the pay usually starts from 20, 000 per month.

The college provides scholarship for the students who cannot afford the fees. A test is conducted and the students who fulfill the requirements are provided with scholarships. The college allows the student to study or free or cuts down the fees almost by 75-80%. The college also provides facility to pay in installments.
