The total course has four semesters, means two semesters in a year. Total Four semesters in 2 years. BCA students and B.sc (computer science ) or B.sc (mathematics) or B.sc( physics ) etc students can join in this course. After completing M.sc computer science, students can go for phd in Computer science or computer application.

Gender ratios almost 1:1 . Almost same number of boys and girls are in our college. Campus life is very bright. I enjoyed each and every second of it. sports competition are held by students every year.

IEEE conferences are conducted in each branch separately. This includes Technical Paper Presentations. Branch Festivals are conducted every year and is taken care by students and faculties of the particular branch. Chunchana is our College fest, that is conducted every year in the month of may. This includes various competitions for all the students. Students from whole college participate and exhibit their talent.

There is an internal exam and an external exam. Internal exam is for 25 marks. External for 100 marks. Lab external is for 50 marks. Each year there are around 6 subjects and 2 labs. Internal will be conducted in the college. Externals will be conducted by our university which is VTU. Final year there were 4 subjects, a seminar and Project.

Below is the process which i did for applying for the admission in SKIT college. I have applied for RPET exam in 2005 after completing my 12th standard. After result, I got state rank of 2000. After that i had apply for college SKIT in the counselling. I was selected and shortlisted by the college so i was called to do the payment and submit the documents within a week.

Course structure is very good in SKIT college. We have option of switching the stream after first year . but this option is available only for top 10 students in first year, We have first year common classes for all streams students. Later next year we seperated as per our our stream i.e. IT , computer science, electronics, electrical, or mechanical.

Campus life is a real fun. You can enjoy your life in this college, gender reason is almost 1:1, so no gender ratio issues. Nepali students are here. Ask extracurricular activities are held and we get a chance to showcase our talents. It's a Muslim college so there are more Muslim people's but there is no caste discrimination.

Fee structures is very much feasibly and also flexible. If you can request with the management for concession in fees depending on your financial situation they will give you concession in fees amount. During my time it was only 18000 per year. That to i got a scholarship of 15000 or year.

If you want an intern only then you should have some skills in coding or web-development and all then you can intern in this field. But generally students do not have these skills in 1st year and then also u wanna a intern then you can try for some NGO & SOCIAL internship.

I took IIT JEE exam to get admission in IIT(BHU) Varanasi. To get in IIT's you need to score good marks which helps you further to get admission in top IIT's with the desired branches.

There are merit seats selecting students on the basis of their marks in the higher secondary or equivalent qualification. Management seats also available, for these seats also merit will be considered, but the decision of management will be final in this regard. As college is a muslim minority institute, there are community quota seats available allotting muslim students purely on the basis of merit.

Scholarships for the needy will be given by different charitable organisations including the current students union and Alumni of the college. The state and central Government scholarships can also be availed by meritorious students by following the steps. PM Foundation educational aid, Arif memorial Scholarship etc. are the scholarships within the campus.

After getting the rank in MUOET, Based on admission process admission will be done. All details about the admission will be mailed accordingly to the e-mail address given in the application form. There will be 3 to 4 rounds of counselling based on the seats availability. Registration fee of RS 11,000/- has to be paid in order to attend for the online counselling.

Many companies come to campus for the placements. World class companies like Microsoft Mercedes Benz, Google, Cisco, Accenture, Bosch, Deloitte, wipro, musigma etc Packages will be good. For IT branches it will be min of 6 lakh and for electronics it is of min 3 lakh and for mechanical also 3-4lakh.

First I appeared for the joint entrance examination(main) through that score I applied for Odisha JEE Counselling process via which the Odisha government colleges take admissions.For the counselling I applied for various colleges in Odisha and locked a choice list with different branches. After the counselling was done, I was provided with the college name and branch my score deserved.

The examinations pattern is very smooth. The course consists of 8 semesters. Each semester we have to appear for internals of 20 marks for each subject and the end semester papers for 70 marks. The 10 marks for assignment ,class test, attendance etc. The 4 laboratory exams each semester consists of 100 marks. The extra curricular activities and exams are well handled in such system.

Our college established recently though They are capable enough to brought multi national companies for the placements.Multi national companies like Tech Mahindra came to our college .They offered a whopping package of around 3.2 lpa for the students as a freshers. and not only that some BPO companies also came to college for recruitment.

Exam structure was of like semester system where exams will be conducted for every 6 months. so three year course divided into six semesters in which final semester will be focussing on project work.I never felt uncomfortable with this kind of exam structure moreover in my opinion This is the best way to asses the students capability.

Placement and job opportunities are good. Here in this college placement and training is standing on their own feet. As it is a government reputed college there is scope to get better placements. Top companies like TCS and few are approaching. they provied a very good packages around 3.0 lakh.

Well all the faculty from our college are highly qualified among 10 permanent faculty from only our branch 4 are p.hD . Everyone were with atleast 20 years in teaching field. Every one specialised in there domain and teaching that particular subject fantastically.

When come's the talk over Placements and Jobs my college is very Great in that. If we talk in figures Placement % was 80% at my time and i was one of them who got placed from college. Most of the students had 2-3 offer letter that times. Talking about the companies Congnizent ,Infosys ,Wipro is the opening companies in my college and after that List going on i.e. L&T, Ericssion, Amazon, HCL, Tech Mahindra.

Gender ratio in my college was 10:2 (Boys:Girls) at my time and lifestyle in my open was kind of open because it is comes under NCR(National Capital Region). If i say about my batch over 150 students there is only 35 girls. As all know there are 2 types of students one who really wants to study and second those are studying because of some force(Family) or they just want to enjoy only.

The faculty of my college is highly qualified and have decent experience in the corporate world. They also have high networks in the business world due to which we get fantastic guests from the corporate area. Since they all have different teaching styles, some students find some faculty not interesting, but we have options of faculty as well. If a student want to study under some other faculty he is given option for that too.

Exams structure is quite chilled out as the credits are distributed to lots of activities. For a given subject credits are distributed among presentations, class participation, project work and final exam. So students have to be active throughout the term rather than just final exam. Exams are more practical in nature making the process easier if a student has given enough attention in classes, presentations and project work.

Technofest - This was 10 days event comprising engineering project models, cultural programme, wherein other local colleges was also invited to participate. Spandan - This is a pure cultural event intercollegiate, used to happen every year - 20 Minutes & 20 people in Team to perform Dance, Drama, Skits, Singing and performing Music. Annual Games - 3 Days a year was the schedule comprising Cricket, Volley ball, basket ball, Table Tennis, Carom and Chess.

Placement and job opportunities was not there at time like these days, but yes placement assistance was given by the separate department who guided us how to make resume, prepare for an interview and give lead in companies where the opening was available.

The Annual Function takes place every year in college, that help in a proper get to gathering of all the students. Also the college participates in various inter college competitions in sports and educational academic competitions some are held at National level, also various events and days are celebrated internally.

After my post graduation on the basis of my B.com results i took admission in this college. The admission procedure is not complicated at all. The dates were already released by the Mumbai University well in advance and forms were easily available over the counter. And the procedure was also transparent.

After passing the OJEE , we had to attend the state JEE counselling . In the counselling, depending on the score in JEE, we had to select any college that is available for us during that period. After selecting the particular college , we had to visit the respective desk in which the respective college people were present to explain about the admission process.

The college has a placement cell also. We had some 5-6 it companies along with some core companies that visited during our tenure. Now a days , there are more that 10 companies that visit the college. There is very well disciplined way of conducting all the rounds of the interview being carried out by the college.

Since I passed out in 2004, It is difficult to get the figures but most of the Students who were interested in getting Campus Placements got some opportunities. I also got campus placement & was selected by a Mumbai Based company. Companies from various industries came to college including Birla Sun Life, HDFC, Shoppers Stop, Parle, SodexoPass, Nicholas Piramal to name a few. The packages offered were in the range of 1.5 Lakh to 5-6 Lakh per Annum which was a decent figure in 2004.

Campus Life Was memorable. Our Campus was on main Mumbai-Pune express Highway. The Academic Campus was on one side of the road while Hostel was on the other side. Since we were in Management PG Course so there were more Management Workshops rather than Engineering based projects. We had some small Projects with various organisations & In house Sessions about latest business environment.

I am in the first batch of AKS university and my fees is 40000 rs per semester and 80000 a year that is quite expensive compared to other colleges. But my junior batch fees is become 30000 a semester 60000 a year we also have to pay 2500 rs per semester as exam fees and if any subject then 250 rs per subject we have to pay.

There are lots of function we celebrated in college as we joined college our class celebrate freshers party and we also celebrate teachers day, engineers day farewell party they are not so huge but also not so small a class c11 is booked for this type of celebration annual function is very huge and big.

I appeared for Entrance Test for Delhi University MCA conducted by Department of Computer Science. Then i got call for Personal Interview.Out of 30 seats, 21 are general category seats. After both rounds i was 2nd in wait list in general category. Delhi University if most prestigious for MCA. Even MCA degree itself introduced by Delhi University in India in 1985. After IIT Roorkee, Delhi University MCA was my 2nd choice for MCA.

50% faculty is guest faculty and rest 50% is department's professors. Guest faculty is very well knowledged and create lot of interests in subjects. While department's faculty set high target for students. They assign very difficult assignments to students within every semester. Except 1-2, every professor is knowledgeable and put great efforts.

I took JEE mains entrance exam and 12 score card and personal interview and they take a test on the time of admission and if you have uptu score card .

Yes, placement is given by college. There are so many companies but package is 2 to 7.5 lakhs.

Once the result of HSC Exam (12th) was declared, I collected my marksheet from my junior college and went to collect the admission form to St. Xavier's college. Once I collected the form, I submitted the form along with the documents of my HSC results promising to submit LC later on. Vice principal of commerce section approved my admission once confirming that I am currently working in any of the company.

Fees Structure is very much Feasible for all the faculties. Commerce is just for Rs. 4000/- for First year of Bachelor. Second year is for just Rs. 5000/- and another is just for around Rs.5500/- to Rs. 6000/-. B.SC is almost in the same fee structure. B.Sc IT is quite expensive than other like 90000 for entire 3 years of bachelor. Almost same for BMM and Rs.100000/- approx for BMS.
