The gender ratios are pretty good. The college is pretty strict on the male and female interactions and female students are not allowed to leave their hostels after 6. It is a bad policy from the University thinking that restricting students is making them good. But actually what is happening is students are attracted to bad habits once they leave the University and do their jobs where there is no one to restrict them.

The course structure is pretty good and at par with the standards provided by other top Universities. There is huge scope to get involved in research with world class labs. But all that depends on the students. You don't have much choice in elective because in most cases there are only two choices per semester and one of them is going get filed up fast and you will have to adjust with the other.

All faculties are good talented.. But except some teacher.. Because they don't know what they are teaching.. But all are in close relationship with the students

I am from physics department and our department is very active. There are fourteen professors now and might be more in near future. They are very experienced. They always inspire us in every aspect. It's practical based study. We most of the time spend in labs, library except class time Here it's very good environment for study.

Every govt approved festival celebrated in our college. And annual program organised. Fifth September children's day independence day republic day birthday of different great personalities are celebrated. College fest are organised in winter specially. A lot fun with cultural and social plus educational programs are organised.

It is very good . Placement comprises of many companies coming to the campus to take the young mind in their companies . The college has a place record of above 100% for every stream. The placement and training form is very much interactive and they work day and night to make the works easy for the people. Their are job opportunities for all the students .

The exam structure comprises of 3 phase of exams having game of 1 month each between them .The first comes after one month after registration, then one month later and at last in the last month . The exams is easy and chilling. there is many times gapes between papers that helps in the preparation . Also the there is only one exam in one day.

In terms of placements CUSAT can be termed as very poor place comparing with other government colleges and institutions. Quality of students specially in our batch was bright but as mentioned earlier due to inter department politics of college and of kerala people in general as well as centralisation of power and vested interests it couldn't have been a successful affair apart from few mid level IT companies visiting the campus as per usual trend.

Faculty was average and was not par with standard of a government college. Few permanent faculties were knowledgeable and was having hold in their subject but even they were not good teachers as it's demands quite a different technique. An Even the temporary faculties who were probably in most of the cases ex student of our college were very little informed about the subject.

The placements and opportunity in our college/university is really good. The major companies including IBM, HCL, TCS is participating in our esteemed university. The monthly packages will be nice, i can say that the starting package will be around 70000 per month.

In 2011 i appeared for C.E.T and that was the first time when Mumbai University launched online admission system so i applied online and got selected in the second round in that college. For the online application i was allowed to enter only 25 colleges and it was mandatory that if you had got selected in the first list then you have to take admission otherwise you will not be eligible for the second round.

The course which i am pursuing is actually well renown course the course structure in our college is as suggested by the Mumbai University and its the biggest drawback of such courses because there is nothing related to the new technical researches going on in the era. Our college comes under Visvesvaraya Technological University, belgam it was bit difficult to clear Visvesvaraya Technological University exam. The exam structure was divided into 2 parts first is external and second is the internals. Internals was conducted by our college and with in three average of the best of three is taken and added to externals.

The faculty of our college is very great. Our head of the department is very friendly and helps students to achieve high standards in education and encourages us to participate in every event in and out of the campus. Faculty was great and helps the students in every aspect and the students take part in every aspect the faculty provides.

All students of IRMA are placed mostly within one single day or 2 days at max. For 100 students of IRMA close to 300 jobs are offered and hence every student gets good choices to choose from. There are huge no of designated companies which are eligible to recruit from the campus. They are regular recruiter from IRMA. IRMA gets also the choice of serving some greater cause along with earning salary from employers.

Number of events are celebrated i am the campus through out the year. All events are managed ans created by students and that makes the events even more interesting and close to heart. Participation in the events make the campus life memorable. Events include cultural programs, games and sports.

i got admission by giving entrance exam in the college and after that an interview was conducted to test the communication and confidence skills.after that forms were filled for admission and documents were submitted for it. Thereafter i got admission by paying my fees by transferring the fee amount in the official bank account of the institute.

The faculty are the best in case of my subject and branch as i dont know for other branch. Mostly they are qualified from top IIT's. They teach with the best possible way they can I heard a lot of rumours about not teaching fairly by the professors and all in colleges. But after coming here it got completely wrong. All the professors teach with great enthusiasm and also give extra time for letting us understand and discuss.

I took SRMJEE to join SRM university. I am a civil student with B.Tech here. For civil engineering SRM is considered the best college all over India Also it is one of the best in all private colleges. So i choose SRM as my preference. I had options for all the private colleges and B.arch in NID also but SRM is the college which I preferred. No there were no interview process for getting admitted.

Faculty in college is good our H.O.D is B.tech, M.tech and phd holder and ex chairman of NHPC india. And mostly faculty us from IIIT and nit and they having good knowledge of subject . Overall good college on the basis of faculty and in all lectures there will be a faculty in the class and there is no bunks etc and the behaviour of faculty is quite good except one or 2 faculty members.

Exam are conducted within the college campus and there are 2 mid terms and final paper and external and internal practicals. The examiners are very strict in case of cheating and the if a student is cought in unfair means he or she directly get back in the papers and fair examination are held in JNU.

Course curriculum is being decided by the Savitribai Phule Pune university and circulated through all colleges. Our college also followed it. We had 40 lectures of each subjects through the semester. There were two unit tests and one final test before the university examination. Focus on research was only available for Fourth year students as they had to prepare a project based on research and innovation.

Placements and job opportunities were very poor. Students expected more companies. Our college failed in bringing companies for Civil Engineering. At our time, there were no company for placement. All we had to do is on our own. There were few companies for Computer, IT, EnTC and Mechanical Engineering. Companies were Thermax, Piagio, Bharat forge, and some other.

There two prime events in VIT. Our tech fest - Gravitas, and our cultural fest - Riviera. Gravitas has a lot of learning incorporated. We have various workshops for different fields of interest, dancing photography, etc. included. And there are many competitions where students from other colleges come to participate. Also, there are many fun events.

Yes, there are exams quite frequently in VIT at least once a month. But I won't say that makes it hectic. It only makes you prepared and helps you score better in the term ends. We have 3 quizzes, 2 cats, and 1 term end for each subject. The quizzes are in the hands of the teachers, sometimes they are replaced with assignments.

The campus life was so good all student offered for all activities. The labs was so good and it was full of equipment. There was a particular week for sports called sports week. All student participated in some games some student were participated in chess, some cricket, some in table tennis. Also our faculties held debates in some topic in particular class.

I had chosen electrical engineering branch for my further study i had some experience in this branch due to my uncles workshop. I interested in this particular branch. First i found that the atmosphere of college was good and the laboratories and class room was so good. There are particular faculties for electrical subject and particular faculties for lab.

As we have entered in our college there were cultural fests. soon after there sports tournament that is held in September month. Then we have been given freshers party which was really a great fun. The list of events that we have enjoyed in those golden 4 years Cultural Fest, Sports Tournament, NEN session, Fresher Party, DJ Nights, Welcome Party, Celebrate Party.

As we have mention, we are granted to use all the facilities but along with certain rules. We can go to library to study if we have leisure time. We can use cafeteria, college wifi etc. We have refreshed regularly by arranging fests, science exhibition, sports tournament. These all have given me the opportunity to keep my body fit along with my mind.

i went for the admission and attended the interview and got selected.my hod asked me questions and he liked my answers. also the atmosphere gave me energy. this made me to go for it..

i took BDU entrance examination,scored 90%, loved being a part of this university.. my head asked me about why i opted this course and was also inspired by my answers..
