Admission process was easy as it was a centralised process conducted by DTE Maharashtra, it was complete online process except you have to go to your selected college after being allotted in DTE rounds. Then I had to fill the college admission form after confirming seat in VIT, Every student has to select at least one language among Japanese, German, Sanskrit. I chose Japanese.

For me as of 2016 here is fee structure in simple format, Tuition fees 1,14,000, Library fees 1,200, Development fees 10,000. Total goes around something 1,25,000, it is expensive at least for me but you are free to apply for Govt. Scholarships which most student do apply you get fee reimbursement of around 50,000. But in the beginning you have to pay full fees.

Exams happen twice a year . One on November and another on April . There are 5 papers for a student to clear each semester . Students who keep arrears are allowed to move on to the next year. The exam structure is chilled out as it doesn't pressurise us to much . However there are two modules one is the internal which is highly practical and the external which is the semester examination .

The curriculum is comprehensive enough to cover various fields of law . Since law is a diversified subject , this university offers a wide range of study material with a practical touch. Apart from this there are various extracurricular activities offered by the university to hone your advocacy skills. Example -moot court, youth parliament , seminars , workshops etc.

The exam structure of this is college is 70 - 30 . 70 mark to be secured in the final exam and 30 marks in the internal exams. Internal exam marks consist of Labs/Practicals + viva + 2 exams of 15 marks each which total to 50 and then scaled down to 30. You must secure 1/3 marks in the internal and the external individually and a total of 50 marks to pass.

The admission process was quite easy and the staff and the information provided by them was easy to understand and follow .The admission process starts after the result of the entrance exam is declared. They have a counselling session at the college and campus visit and explain all the things in details the college has to offer.

This is also a gold feather in our college as a numerous companies come to the college offering high packages. UPES students are accepted well by the industry. Some of the prominent recruiters who picked students of B Tech courses were Mahindra Aerospace, Cyient, Royal Enfield, MAN Trucks, Maruti Suzuki, Global Data, KPIT, Shell India, Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited, NTT Data, Indian Navy, LG Electronics, L&T Infotech, Map my India, TATA Consultancy Services, Capgemini, Mahindra Susten, Hyundai Motors India Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., Weatherford Drilling International.The highest package was of 25 lakhs offered by the Google.

The course was started in the first week of August. The teachers were very helpful and started their course from the first day. After the first month a Common Class Test was organised for all the students of each and every branch to test the knowledge of what have the students learnt till date. It was also important as its 5 % will add in the final pointer/grade of the semester. Then mid sem were organised next month and its 20% will add in the final,then of internal assessment 30 % will be added and of end semester 50 % will be added.

Gender ratio is 70:30 Boys:Girls. No there is much diversity in college campus all lives with friendship and loving. There is regarding for the gender. For extracurricular activities students have to come up and show their interest in the respective game. Entrepreneurship is committed from the college for the startup and create new things in their course.

Since the fingers are not all equal in our hand as like that all faculties not same. Some faculties goes very much deeper in the course and explains whole thing but few faculties just completing their course. As maximum number of faculties are Ph. D. holder and some are post-graduate. Overall faculties are good enough to teach a particular course.

The course for my Branch was well arranged by the faculty. We got the whole curriculum of our four year before hand in the First semester itself. The college followed that syllabus through out our course. All the subjects were relevant and useful for the overall development of students. We had two types of electives, open electives and department electives. In open electives we were able to select subjects from different streams.

The campus life is very happening and full of excitements. The gender ration is okay. You can see people from 56 countries in our campus ,no need to talk about diversity. Labs are well maintained and full of equipment which can be accessed by the students anytime if they are working on any project. Every now and then there are different types of competition going on in campus organised by different departments.

First fill the online the form then go to exam center and give your best output and when result came and you pass then go to college and meet the any person i.n administrative department and told you Roll number And Mark when he give the all paper then fill the all detail and send the sir and fill the fees and after complete the all process then you admission successful.

Placements & job opportunities is 99% occur if you want the job then sure you you found the job maximum student achieved the job in every year and some student go to other county according the job more the 500 company came in our campus and every company take more student in our college.

I have celebrate to much event in college like atithya, cultural events, theme dinner, baker's day. Atithya is the one of the big event this event is one time in year. Theme dinner is 1 time in semester. Because of this event I learn many things. In baker's day event only make bakery product because of this event I learn many bakery products.

The exam structure is good. They take two unit taste in one semester. They take two practical test aslo in one semester. If you are failed in college test they take one more time.they make perfect student. and examination supervisor also so good they are strict.They having good kitchens for practical. Then university semester examination.

Curriculum covers all aspect broadly but for deeper knowledge you need to study yourself. Apart from other departmental electives one can choose cloud computing, networking, police administration, cyber crime, frauds bfsi, data privacy, Business Continuity Management, Physical and Environmental Security Management,Cyber Laws Intellectual Property Rights etc.

Exam structures- 2 SESSIONAL OF 50 MARKS per paper and an end sem exam of 100 marks.we have to write a lot.In first year, lab time is satisfactory. Theory classes are more, almost like a hectic day.Once you finish with all your softskills and electives. In second year, sit in lab and lean, evolve. Work on your end sem project.

The event that is popularly celebrated in DAV university is DAV Ustav. in this function many celebrity comes for their film promotion, and a long series of event is going on during this large 3-5 days event. Maximum of the sports events are organised by the physical education department in the university and the teams for inter university also participated.

Overall Faculty of university is good. But still there is shortage of teachers. As the university is new and in current year there is large increase in new admission about 250%. Which is very good for the management. As the admission rate is higher so the new faculty is still joining. And honestly i can say that there is shortage of about 10% faculty.

Course was a 4 years duration consist of 8 semesters. It is fair good enough to get a good idea about the subjects. there were 4 electives in the last 2 semesters. Faculty also worked so hard to finish the portions within time period. The students were also attended the extra hours without fail to complete the portions.

All faculty were Post Graduated and well qualified. HODs were almost a minimum of 10 + years of experienced professors . I would rate them as 10 out of 10. Best ever professors with good knowledge. They were so helpful and provided all the facilities which we need to study. They worked so hard to get the best results.

I am Catholic, and SJCET has reserved seats for Catholic minority. I got a seat through the minority rounds. You are still competing with a bunch of aspiring students in the minority rounds too. For these rounds according to the CET score we were divided into batches and given a rank. The higher score holders could select their choice of college (along with SJCET there are other Catholic Colleges that give the minorities a chance to gain admission in their college), and their preferred subject. I wanted to take up Mechanical Engineering, as a science student I loved solving maths and really enjoyed the practicality of Physics, so I knew that this field would be perfect for me. When I had to take admission, there were only 2 colleges among the given Catholic colleges that had the subject of my choice, and although I had never heard of SJCET in the year 2012, to study mechanical engineering I was ready to get into SJCET as my score was higher than their set cut off.

January is a very busy month in terms of extracurricular activities. We have the sports week and the theme week in Jan.We also have the inter college football match, which is the most fun to watch. Apart from that we have an annual day conducted by the college with various performances, and the most awaited Jam Session. The Science Exhibition is also conducted in January. In the month of February/March the BE students have their Farewell. From June to October our college participates in different competitions such as SAE Supra, BAJA, etc. Industrial Visits are conducted by clubs and sometimes the faculty of a particular subject. We were able to visit 4 industries via the college and 4 industries via clubs.

I believe good teachers are hard to find and one is very lucky to encounter the few. There were a few good teachers, most of which were young masters' degree graduates that were genuinely trying to educate and teach rather than go through the motions. I also believed that a college teacher (not using the term professor as there seems to be a difference) knows his students are adults and treats them as such. These young educators were the only ones that followed this credo. However, the senior faculty was a different ball-game altogether. Apart from a few, most seemed to take delight in creating problems for the students. I termed them "busy-idiots" that would rather be more worried about which student brings a cell-phone to class rather than their ability to engage the student in open discussions or make the subject enjoyable and easily digestible to the students. The lectures were boring and the teachers' inability to properly convey what she meant to the student was hampered with horrible diction and bad attitude. The students were treated like school children which made them rebel, which led to friction between students and teachers. I found very few senior faculty in my department who had a good rapport with the student crowd. The HOD (Head of Department) in my department was an incompetent loud angry woman who regularly would shout at students as though personal pride and decency were non-existent and we lived in savage times. I once was attending a college lab and she managed to reduce a fellow student to tears because she wrote the wrong program (we were randomly assigned programs to execute using chits) and wound up not having enough time to rectify her mistake. I felt the situation was handled very poorly and any teacher who makes a student cry does not win but fail at her job as an educator. The very few good teachers came and went like the breeze and many a cries would be heard about "That teacher was so good, shame he/she had to leave". The incompetent ones however remained like a bad stain on a white shirt. I found one particular incompetent Math teacher, who would rule his class with fear rather than respect (not one to judge, to each his own) become an important member in the management as well. The most infuriated and humiliated I felt was during my first year when i had to take an extended leave due to medical reasons. As i went to get the necessary approval from the principal, he outright said I would be held back a year because of this. When i came back from my medical leave, only one teacher bothered to ask about my health and one incompetent nincompoop also told me to "Go back to Lalu Prasad Yadav"(I am from Assam although I don't have the distinct features).

As i mentioned earlier, there were very few who were placed. Most of the recruitment happened off-campus and few student attended placements in other colleges. I noticed that there was a lack of care when handling students who were graduating. There were no real help offered and the few that came my way was sub-par and had the air of incompetence that became synonymous with VKIT. What i noticed the most was that the students who were from the city ("localites" as they were termed by the general population) were the ones who were placed and North Indians ("Northies" as termed by the "localites"), even the most gifted ones were struggling with getting a job. When a college graduate successfully finishes his course and is still not confident on cracking job interviews, i believe the college has failed in that regard. It is pretty difficult to mention which colleges had come in my time as I personally had attended no interviews in campus. When i had initially joined the college, there were flyers all around of students being placed in L&T, Wipro etc and it seemed very optimistic.After i graduated, i heard again of students being placed in good companies and getting reasonably well packages. I felt the college failed most in my time and hence this review will reflect my disappointment. I joined Engg. with hope and optimism, focus and I believed I had talent. Sadly, by the time i graduated, the college had managed to remove all my earlier convictions and replace it with nothing more than a feeling of just getting it over with.

I took almost all competetive examinations i.e IITJEE( Advanced & Mains) , Bitsat , SRMjee, Viteee and IPU (CET). I scored averge marks in mains and a rank of 9k in Advanced. 2456 in SRMJEE and 12k in VITEEE. My best performance was in IPUCET where i got a rank of 865. I always wanted to take up Electronics and Communications as my core subject in engineering as it opens us to an array of opportunities . An E&C engineer can take up in any field be it Communication , IT, Robotics or Compuer Science. USICT is primarily dedicated to information and communication technology and hence i took it up. It is a dedicated insitute , has less number of students , dedicated faculty and excellent infrastructure.Hence it was a good decision taken by.

The alumni network is not that strong but some alumni's and specially those who are in startup industry maintain a strong contact with the alma mater the seniors are very helpful . may seem intimidating in the first few weeks but will later be good of friends and offer genuine and wise advises to you . try to reach out all second and third year students and don' t hesitate in asking anything. Start a conversation by addressing sir/mam if they are comfortable with you they'll automatically ask you to switch to bro and sis don't be too casual with them is only advise. they will absorb you when time is right don't check their patience.

No need to get good marks just pay the fee you'll be in. EAMCET is main intake process you,no need to worry, you'll get a seat for sure you dont need to be a brilliant. the college if not really good to hardly try for an admission in it. you cant learn anything in detail .you'll just know about the books and you'll just read books for exams. there will be still more and more and more to learn after you come out of college its not a university though to go by researching.

Nothing at all they'll just have the course structure and each faculty will try to complete their portion of course just dictating sounds funny but there is just nothing in this college to learn except that you have to learn on your own no good labs, everything is theoritical

In a notoriously tough graduate job market it’s fair to say that degree-level engineers have an edge. Engineers build societies and, mechanical engineers specifically, apply fundamental maths and physics laws to create and build mechanical devices we use every day. So it’s no surprise to see that mechanical engineer students enjoy particularly good graduate prospects. Our What do graduates do? table shows that 81% of mechanical engineers were in positive destination 6 months after graduating in 2013. A positive destination means either professional-level employment or postgraduate study.

Generally, an internship consists of an exchange of services for experience between the student and an organization.h hence sairam encourages it a lot . Students can also use an internship to determine if they have an interest in a particular career, to create a network of contacts, or to gain school credit. Some interns find permanent, paid employment with the organizations for which they worked upon completion of the internship. This can be a significant benefit to the employer as experienced interns often need little or no training when they begin regular employment.

I got admission in Mrk Institute of technology and management. I got admission in Mechanical engineering. I go to the college and fill up the admission form and give admission fee. Than give the prospects for me. Than give my books and notes. Than give my I card of college. Than I give original certificate to the collage administration department for college formalities. Than I goes to college on bike with my friend.

Mechanical engineering is a good course for future. It is ever green trade. It is very demand in our market. It is used in all good industry sector. Than I learn new things and I have focus on my research and study. It is very hard but properly study on time table it is no hard. So I focus on my course and take help of my senior students for any difficulty.

There was few companies was come like MNC or similar as they were not gave handsome salary placement was not so good it was a like gave duty by them they were not cheerup to us, they were not looked us for good post I was very disappointed that time when i haired above all matter and that after i didn't participate in ant interviews in placement.

1st i cleared entrance test then i prepare my documents for verification and after that payed for admission and get enrolled for study. But which college i got admission in there was they demand for registration for post graduation. I got admission in non collegiate women's education board.

I secured rank of 7000 in EAMCET. After the rankings, government releases notification for allotment of seats. It was done through counseling at that time, which we had to attend in Vizag, which was the regional center then. After 2006 I believe, it became web counseling. In this, students are given kind of scratch cards, which has a student specific code on it. Using this, they need to login to counseling website and fill as many options they'd likely to fill. Student should select the college's in the order of preference they'd like. After the closing date, the software runs an algorithm that takes student rank, college seats availability, the order of preference chosen, reservation etc and allots seat to the student. Out of all these inputs fed to the software,only the tank is in student's control.

I think I will have to repeat a lot of the things that I mentioned already. To the big question, simple answer is yes, we do have lots and lots of extra curricular activities inside the campus. Coming to the diversity, we can find people from atleast 3 states and different ethnicities, religions here stay together happily. No need to worry about any intolerant incidents. As the college is treated as one of the GMR group organizations, we see a touch of corporate culture, where people are turned to respect others, and allow all to have their voices heard.

The placement here is not good at all, no core company visits the campus few IT companies do come to the campus and recruit only handful of students till yet,only 4 companies visited for placement drive like- HCL, EMICON, ARNAV INFOSOFT, EMINENCE all of them gave package around 2 to 3 lakhs per annum and around 20 students are placed till yet.

The faculties of the college are very experienced and most of them have doctorate degree, few of them even retired as a professor from renowned institutions like IIT's and others. But recently many new faculties have been recruited in the college who just have completed their graduation and does not have any experience.
