It was through an Open-Window system organized by the Anna University. My college is affiliated to Anna University. So we have to select three top colleges and then opt one among them in the Counselling Hall. Then once we select the college, we need to go to the college and pay the respective fees as suggested by Anna University.

There is no option for research. We had different courses like Machines, Electronic Circuits, Electrical Machines, Digital Signal Processing, Numerical Methods, Solid State Drives, Bio-Medical Engineering, Engineering Mathematics, etc. All these subjects had lab sessions through which we had access to devices and machines.

Our college organises events every now and the. We get chance to take part in many events like quizes, robotics, dance, dramatics, singing, ramp walk etc. Our college even organises Conference with the top engineers, professors, businessmen. The college also invites many artist, singers and celebrities for the enjoyment.

Faculty of my college is really helpfull and have a great knowledge in the area they teach. They help students with their queries and doubts even if we ask them same question hundreds of times. Along with teaching us, they even encourage students to take parts in sports, cultural event and other co curriculum activities.

All faculty have an good knowledge in their field.all are engineers all faculties are helpful whenever you will get the problem you can go there and solve your problem there is a too many mind games also played by the faculties. The home works as well as assignments practicals all things done gratefully.

The companies and the campus placement is doing well in the campus.T&P cell of our college is always active.therefore some companies are also come their likr TCS, adani, some small companies as well.they offerd salary pkg of students on the knowledge about their field.like 2.8 to 3.2

As far as our batch is considered its good and we being 60 members in the class got 54 members placed with a ctc of 3.5 -4 l.p.a and its good the job opportunities here are good as lot of companies come here and the only thing that is negative as well as positive is the sometimes we get restricted that the students who got job may not be given chances for other company providing the others to get a job

Faculty here having lot of knowledge and with more than 20 years of experience in teaching which is lot for giving all kind of information and they are student friendly as we can go around and ask doubts and clarify them at any time we need and they will give you the best suggestions for success in our life.

Campus life is almost similar as school lifeIf you take admission in LNCT then be prepared for 75% attendence criteria as faculties are very strict in case of attendence. and there is no ragging atleast in my case.you may not find senior and junior interaction so much. If you are thinking for placement then take admission in CS or IT Or EC or EI.if you have intrest in core branches (electrical , civil , mechanical) then forget about placement , prepare for gate , PSU. That means you have to see outside from college for job opportunity. As if you find job in college placement then the maximum chance is that it is related to IT sector.

This is just a important criteria to join any engineering colleges in India .We were also told that we will be provided world class renowned company .But the grim reality is that except some IT company no one visits this college. If you are core company aspirant than you have made a blunder by joining this college because the most unqualified department of this college is Training and Placement which just warn you if you will demand for core placement.

Events were conducted like SSEPL training program.Apart from that Techfest were organised in the college which has no learning perspective rather than merrymaking and time pass.Innumerable strikes and sine die were happened due to clash between Bihari and Odia and sometime between Marine engineers and others which was actively participated b all students.

Yes the college provide internship for the period of one year after the four and half year of theoretical study. The College is attached to the hospital with good number of patients and every student gets the opportunity to deal with them. i dont know about the stipend because i am not yet a intern here. as a intern one gets lots of details on the disease its aspect and line of treatment.

Each class has about 40 students which is increased to 100 now. Usually the boys are fewer in number compared to girls. Theres is no student parties but there are various workshops where every student gets an opportunity to learn better things. The sports day is held every year consisting only field events and no track events. The labs are good and is equipped with all thats reqd.

We have a good placement in the college last year more than two hundred students got requirements by companies such as TATA. Infosys, vgaurd etc. They offer thirty thousand rupees to fifty thousand rupees. So our students maximum utilise this opportunity. And our teachers help them how to perform and the structure of the interview. This will help students to get the job secure their life.

We have a well qualified facilities. Most of our professors are M.phil and PhD. The main advantage of our college is library. It is very big and we have almost all books we need, Labs, ground and gym. Teacher are well qualified they know how to teach students. We have full freedom to access the faculty to the college. There is no restrictions and other hidden charges all are free.

Vasantika- The annual cultural mega event of B.Tech wing of the college. Students from all the branches take part in this mega cultural event. Singers and performers of national repute perform on stage on the final day of this cultural extravaganza. Impulse- The annual publication of Electrical Engineering department compiled by students and faculties. Guests and delegates are invited for this publication event. Tech fests, national level seminars are the major events happen in regular intervals.

The campus life is though not great but good here. Students have all the opportunities to pursue there dreams here. Not only academic the sports infrastructure of the college can be used to excel in the field of sports. College has Students from diverse cultural and demographic backgrounds. A healthy mix of gender diversity is also part of the college. Students in association with faculties conduct regular technical and non technical seminars, tech fests and other activities throughout the year.

I'm a second year student pursuing B.com(Computer Applications) at Sastra. Unlike engineering or Law, B.com does not require an independent entrance examination but considers the marks secured in the State Level Board Examination.+12). I secured 75% in the exams and was literally the last student to get in my batch, that averages around 80-90%. Sastra was always a straightforward choice, as it where my Dad, Uncle and 2 more relatives of mine studied. Looking at the success they've had and the influence Sastra had on them to get to where they're at, it was an easy choice.

Soon after the board results were announced, Sastra released a newsletter in its website stating the dates of procuring admission forms, which could be done online or from the office at the university. After filling out the application form, in around 15 days, Sastra sends a mail to the qualified applicants stating the fee structure and the date of counselling. From there on, it is simple procedures where you enroll yourself into the institute and happily return home, eager for the college's opening day.

Faculty is well qualified. All the teachers have a lot of knowledge and real life examples to share. They also share the current news of top companies. They are always ready to help. It does not matter that they have lecture today or not but they will help the students if students needed. They also make whatsapp grp for studies. And sharing notes.

Yes my college provide internship after every semester. Stipend increases after every semester. In 1st semester students get internship between 5-8 k. In second sem 10 k or above. It is mostly depends on students what kind of interview they give to interviewer. Overall internship are very good.

All of the local festivals are celebrated in my college. And the major days are also celebrated. But main event of my college is the annual day called ghousiana. The college is decorated like a bride. Many cultural programmes are organised in that. Many sports programmes are also organised. And the the annual college fest.

I got the admission in management quota. As I came for admission I was given a form to fill along with my complete details and all the documents. And all the admission was completed in a day. Followed by payment of fee . Overall all the admission process was simple without any trouble. And administration was nice.

There is no admission process specified, but as usual i get form from the college and i filled that, and submitted at administration office with my document. Then i get selected for 3year graduation program for Bsc in aviation. Then i paid my fees and started my graduation with awesome college of thakur college of science

I didn't given any entrance exam to get admission in Bsc in aviation, This is very nicely teacher of staff having good campus and developed college.

Most of the Professors are PHD , well experienced Professors ,we cant see less that 16 years experience in my Department . 3 Professors having exp more 25 years experience .Highly qualified Professors completed ICWA , ASC degree. They are helped us to do this courses . and guides us . . Ready to help us in all our quires.

No Entrance Exam. only Admission from I purchased and got free seat . Very Famous college .My dad studied in that collage 30 years back. My Uncle studied in that collage . Very Good Communication and very large Library in that college.

Admission process was easy as it was a centralised process conducted by DTE Maharashtra, it was complete online process except you have to go to your selected college after being allotted in DTE rounds. Then I had to fill the college admission form after confirming seat in VIT, Every student has to select at least one language among Japanese, German, Sanskrit. I chose Japanese.

For me as of 2016 here is fee structure in simple format, Tuition fees 1,14,000, Library fees 1,200, Development fees 10,000. Total goes around something 1,25,000, it is expensive at least for me but you are free to apply for Govt. Scholarships which most student do apply you get fee reimbursement of around 50,000. But in the beginning you have to pay full fees.

Exams happen twice a year . One on November and another on April . There are 5 papers for a student to clear each semester . Students who keep arrears are allowed to move on to the next year. The exam structure is chilled out as it doesn't pressurise us to much . However there are two modules one is the internal which is highly practical and the external which is the semester examination .

The curriculum is comprehensive enough to cover various fields of law . Since law is a diversified subject , this university offers a wide range of study material with a practical touch. Apart from this there are various extracurricular activities offered by the university to hone your advocacy skills. Example -moot court, youth parliament , seminars , workshops etc.

The exam structure of this is college is 70 - 30 . 70 mark to be secured in the final exam and 30 marks in the internal exams. Internal exam marks consist of Labs/Practicals + viva + 2 exams of 15 marks each which total to 50 and then scaled down to 30. You must secure 1/3 marks in the internal and the external individually and a total of 50 marks to pass.

The admission process was quite easy and the staff and the information provided by them was easy to understand and follow .The admission process starts after the result of the entrance exam is declared. They have a counselling session at the college and campus visit and explain all the things in details the college has to offer.

This is also a gold feather in our college as a numerous companies come to the college offering high packages. UPES students are accepted well by the industry. Some of the prominent recruiters who picked students of B Tech courses were Mahindra Aerospace, Cyient, Royal Enfield, MAN Trucks, Maruti Suzuki, Global Data, KPIT, Shell India, Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited, NTT Data, Indian Navy, LG Electronics, L&T Infotech, Map my India, TATA Consultancy Services, Capgemini, Mahindra Susten, Hyundai Motors India Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., Weatherford Drilling International.The highest package was of 25 lakhs offered by the Google.

The course was started in the first week of August. The teachers were very helpful and started their course from the first day. After the first month a Common Class Test was organised for all the students of each and every branch to test the knowledge of what have the students learnt till date. It was also important as its 5 % will add in the final pointer/grade of the semester. Then mid sem were organised next month and its 20% will add in the final,then of internal assessment 30 % will be added and of end semester 50 % will be added.

Gender ratio is 70:30 Boys:Girls. No there is much diversity in college campus all lives with friendship and loving. There is regarding for the gender. For extracurricular activities students have to come up and show their interest in the respective game. Entrepreneurship is committed from the college for the startup and create new things in their course.

Since the fingers are not all equal in our hand as like that all faculties not same. Some faculties goes very much deeper in the course and explains whole thing but few faculties just completing their course. As maximum number of faculties are Ph. D. holder and some are post-graduate. Overall faculties are good enough to teach a particular course.

The course for my Branch was well arranged by the faculty. We got the whole curriculum of our four year before hand in the First semester itself. The college followed that syllabus through out our course. All the subjects were relevant and useful for the overall development of students. We had two types of electives, open electives and department electives. In open electives we were able to select subjects from different streams.

The campus life is very happening and full of excitements. The gender ration is okay. You can see people from 56 countries in our campus ,no need to talk about diversity. Labs are well maintained and full of equipment which can be accessed by the students anytime if they are working on any project. Every now and then there are different types of competition going on in campus organised by different departments.
