There is no separate test or any other entrance test to enter this college. All you need is to get a Score (physics+maths+chemistry+computer science/biology) more than 192/200 for government quota.

Almost all the companies who are coming for placements provide internship offer to students. Because we are Fastrack students. We complete the final semester in the previous(6,7)th semesters.

The course learning was gradually increasing which helped us to understand the concepts very clearly. The lab experiments used to provoke us for taking up some circuits connection individually. In terms of research we used to have robotics day where we can showcase our understandings. And there is no need to repeat this but faculties were very helpful.

Placements are good at campus. I have seen many mass recruiter companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree coming in, also the dream companies like BEL, Robert Bosch, Huwaei, Samsung, Capgemini, Accenture used to come. College also supported for pool campus, so that we were allowed to go to other colleges to sit in a better companies.

Our college is autonomous.so our college exam section will prepare exam papers and paper correction will also be done in our college only but there examiner will come from other colleges so correction will be tough. We have auditorium halls where about a 2000 people can write exam at a time.

Campus life is enjoyable. The gender ratio is fair I guess. I think its 55% women to 45% men. And there are people coming in from all over India and even outside the country so you get to see people of different cultures and religions. The labs are well made with the best equipment for use. They have multiple playgrounds for different purposes meeting the needs of sportsmen and many competitions are held throughout the year where students can display their talents.

The curriculum is good, not bad. Its inadequate though. I believe it should offer more. Study material is available in the library which makes things easier. This course doesn't really focus on research. It doesn't go deep into the subject. It sets out an outline instead. The allied subjects aren't very useful I think. I'd prefer having an all core subject curriculum instead.

Annul sports day happens to enhance the potential and fitneaa of the university students, Yuva festival happen every year it a inter state college fest Fresher party happen every year in the month of September the level and the arrangement of this program is too good. Annual function happen every year just to heal the hectic exam and study pressure.

The course curriculum is normal so that the students are easily able to handle the normal pressure of the studies so easily the research center are also so big and full of new and latest equipment so that the students can get the world class study facilities at low cost and to get updated through the latest technology.

The curriculum aims to improve the knowledge of the budding medicos on both theoretical and practical aspects. I will be doing injustice if I do not give more emphasis on the practical aspect of knowledge because besides providing a comfortable environment for theory classes, the college boasts of being the first and the only one to have its own simulation centre in South India, for imbuing the most basic and essential practical skills required for the students. Apart from the theory classes, the central library of our college is a source of all theoretical information regarding almost all medical aspects.

Yes, a period of one year of internship is provided. The stipend is rs. 2500 per month. The most crucial period is that of a house surgeon as this is the phase where he/she faces actual interaction with the patients and applies the knowledge gained from the four and half years of the course. I had the best experience out of it as I got to learn many new things. There were moments of happiness, sadness, anger and fun, but they were worth it in the end as I got the feeling of fulfillment and realized the importance of teamwork.

There is a lot of gap between fees for students outside Karnataka the students outside Karnataka have to pay a fee 4 times more then a local person who lives in Karnataka. And students outside Karnataka have to give COMEDK exam where the fees is very high for them. There must be equality as we are not getting some extra facilities but are charged 4 times more per year this system must be abolished and must be made equal for all students in terms of education it is good.

There are lot of cultural fests organized in college there are lots of sports events organized since faculty is very much friendly everyone participates in sports with students this is very much impressive about this college and it is excellent in terms of extra curricular activities organized.

In our college i guess many events used to be celebrated as of VIBES.It is an intra college event where students from different branches participated to show case there talents in singing, dancing.The biggest event i would say is the Techno -Cult fest ADVAITA which is an inter college event which happen mainly in the mid of feb. Participation i would say not that much as u expect as the IIIT Bh is still in its growing stage so it is not sponsored by big companies as u find in case of IITs .IITs techfests are of different level and i guess IIIT would take almost 10-15 years more to be up to that level.Participation is there but mostly from nearby colleges,not as u find as if like in IITs most of the participation used to be from college students itself. And most important is college management don't give much support as in sponsorship.

Yes, many companies come to the campus for placements as of like DELL, Incture, ITC Infotech , SAP Labs, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini these are the ones who are a regular recruiter for the college previous year almost 15 companies visited the companies and i guess almost 70% of the total students were placed .Yes in 2013 Samsung RND recuited a student from CSE and offered a package of 10lpa .And in 2015 Snapdeal took 1 student from CSE and offered a package of 15lpa and in that year itself SAP Labs took 2 student from CSE and offered a package of 9lpa. In 2016 in our batch of of my close friend Sandeep got placed in Huawei he was from ETC and was offered a package of 7.5lpa most of the higher package companies prefer IT and CSE branch in comparison for EEE and ETC students .I would say at an average 3-4.5 lpa.

A lot Expensive. Was around 98000 during my time others fees was also there such as locker and lab etc now it is more than 150000. A normal average man can't afford. As apart from fees there were many other expenses which parents have to bear. I got scholarship but even though it was very difficult for my parents to pay fees.

Campus life was very informative fun loving femals were more as compared to men ratio was 70:30 we use to have party diring our cultural day politics were not there gender discrimination was not there debate were there it met the standards overall very good college to take admission for only fees are high.

My college faculty is very good faculty degree M.Tech or PhD our college are taking interview of faculty best qualified have percentage in master degree there research on the food processing, farm machinery, soil and water conversation,taking our college come from llT college or NIT college in master degree qualified taken as faculty.

Being an engineering college the gender ratio is pretty thin. Participation in Extracurricular activities like NSO, NCC, NSS, literary clubs, trekking clubs, photographic clubs and students' chapters of professional societies give student ample opportunity for developing leadership qualities.

I took RPET exam secured 12000 rank and got this in first counselling this college was known for it's computer science course in Rajasthan.

It's average if you work hard you can do good yes, not much focused on research but for job, they will make you prepare well.

The college provides a very good exposure to the students, as many would have lots of different ideas to do with their life. Currently, it seems to increase the tuition fee unreasonably without considering the quality it actually gives to the students. Overall, it's a very good place to study as it is located near the beach of Vizag. One would fall in love with those places.

There are lots of activities that happen inside the campus. Everyone is hooked up with something. As there are lots of activity groups for students, one has a good chance to expand their knowledge and improve their communication skills as well. The seniors provide a lot of workshops to share their knowledge by using the activity centers within the campus.

There are two mid terms and one end term . If we have a semester of about 6 months lets say out of which you will find 1 month holidays. So exams are conducted between every month gap. Midterms you will have 2 exams in a day and end term its for about 10-15 days depending upon practical exams and no. Of subjects you have.

Course was fine. But I guess theoretical aspects are covered good and practical learning is missing.There are few topics Which I feel needs industrial exposure while we are running aur courses in the semester. We know the topic but application wise we don't really where to apply them.

The course is a lot outdated. And now that have been working for more than 2yrs in th industry, can realize a lot that we spent time on is not needed. Similarly a lot that is currently needed isnt taught in the 4 long year curriculum. New languages and lack of practical knowledge is what students clearly lack. Nobody is confident by the end of their course. All that the students here have is great communication skills and ability to sell themselves. But internally a lot is very shallow or rather hollow! Students are even seen to have changing their streams completely after engineering here since they realize they dont really know anything of over 4yrs spent here.

Good infrastructure the college has good amount of Labs, computers and required technology in place gender ratio was good. But lack of diversity 90% are goans. Doesn't really help with different perspectives since everyone are brought up in the similar way having similar thinking. So everyone is almost on the same page, there is absolutely no diversity giving a similar feel of a higher secondary. Either there are no applicants from outside state or the college has a quote for goans, not sure.

The college is affiliated to PTU so it follows PTU's syllabus which is quite good as it matches to the IIT Bombay syllabus.it is not much focused on research but the syllabus covers the topics on which research can be done. The syllabus is beautifully designed to meet the present day need of engineers and exact amount of knowledge is given to the students to become future engineers.

Fee structure is quite feasible as it is according to PTU norms college management is good for the CSE department as their teachers and HOD are very supportive while the management is very poor of ME department due to its HOD.At this price range you can not get more than this.overall fee is good.

Two exams 30 marks mid semester and 70 marks end semester. There would be papers either daily or on alternate days after the completion end semester exams students get vacation.no.preparation leaves. Campus life you have gym and a big playground. Gender ratio I have seen varies when you go from one branch to other. Still I would say 60 40. There is absolutely no differentiation based on the cast or religion or race. Politics is not much there. People come for study and they study.

The campus life of the KIIT is really fantastic.There are student from different part and from different culture.The gender ration is also good as it approx 60:40 male to female ratio.The labs are really high tech and have latest machine. There are different competition like debates ,robotics ,athletic etc.In this competition student as well as teacher participate and try to win the competition.

The fee structure is little bit expensive as they charge 250000 per year which include fee,mass fess and hostel fee. The academic fee of the KIIT is 195000 per year the mess fee is 30000 per year and the hostel fee is 35000 rs per year.But they also provide free laptops of brand like Hp or Dell and every semester book are free for the student.

All festivals were celebrated for each event separate committee was there. Technical, cultural, management festivals were awesome.

Not taken any exam like IIT JEE, BITSAT, CAT or any other no such process for in house student who pass 12th in same college.
