Software engineering, DBMS, JAVA, C, C++, networking, computer organization and architecture, data structure, AI etc. It was mostly as per Indian top graded institute type course curriculum.
Infosys and IBM came only industrial training was provided. No such general stipend was offered. But infosys training and study materials was very helpful for cracking campus interview.

It is nice to cover all basics like mechanical engineering, dsp and all sort of programming knowledge to survive in the software field and to become a full fledged engineer.I always learn all the topics like c, c++, java to get nice exposure on programming so that I want to become a software engineer and now I'm a software engineer.
Yes students who scored above 900 and 1000 get scholarships and above 1100 for free.in our college all can get scholarships for there eligibility and they itself will help for loan arrangements.I also got scholarships for event participating in other college and I also got stipends for sports meet to participate in other college.
In our college placements will be done every year zenpact Infosys HP etc. And packages about starting 3.6 lakhs per annum every year all will visit oour college and taking students to work in their part of project. Placements will be started from morning and end by evening whole day students are interested to attend the placement .

College will be provide some matierials to prepare the exam bybthat we can write the exams well.
I took various entrances. But for admission in this college i was validated through OJEE. My rank in OJEE was 8147. I took my counselling. I got synergy institute for which i declined nd took another counselling. I was given CEB. I researched over various colleges. My main focus was to get admission in Odisha. I saw rankings of various colleges under BPUT and choose this college. The admission process was very simple. All my admission process was done within an hour nd i was appointed the next day to attend first day.
The boys are more than the number of girls. The infrastructure is very large. We are having largest workshop for Mechanical amd Automobiles. Laboratory are great. All the modern equipments are well provided. Regular competitions take place every month like robotics and debates. The college is having a great garden in the front making the environment very comfortable for the students to study.
Our college comprises of many student chapters likeIEEE , IETE, CSI , ISTE , NSS , ROBOTICS etc. So many students are members and actively involved in organising many technical events , workshops. We even have our own national level fest named FURCATEZ which will be conducted every year in beginning of first semester.
Gender ratio is good, we have high strength of students. We do have annual day and relational day parties. Many workshops are conducted every semester. No disputes between fellow students. We do have many sports competitions and events like ROBOTICS during fest. Our labs are well and good with all working equipment.
Faculties were good. Assignments were given regularly and they were not at all lenient in rewarding marks. They took care of attendance very strictly. Faculties were helpful but they were more inclined on finishong the syllabus than imparting good knowledge to the future generation. Teaching standards is very good in first year where electronic boards were used and teaching was mostly done through powerpoint slides and it was very cool.
Campus life is very dynamic in my college. People from all over the country and other countries can be seen in the campus. We played many games, had good labs and our college day is one of a kind in the state. To sum it up its awesome to be out in our college campus. I miss it the most. There is no politics there. Discipline is strict with full camera surveilance of campus. And you find rich and poor at same place studying together.

Every year technical events like symposium will be conducted with minimum of 500 participants from different collges for each department. Intercollege and intracollege competition were conducted every year which has dances musics etc. Also, sports events I which university ranking 1 in kho-kho, volleyball.
College management wants to provide quality education and success in it. Strict college. No mobiles are allowed even should not use in college bus. Good experience. Learnt a lot from college surroundings. Standard college.
I have faced the campus selection and many companies come during my time and finally I got the offer from one private bank and I started working over there and now in another job.
The fee structure was not very high in comparison of other college during those days I have complete in around 5000 fee paid to my every semister and it was not difficult to pay.
The course structure of this university is pretty impressive where they have adopted a Fully Flexible Credit System, also called FFCS where the students are supposed to choose the subjects and teachers along with the venue of the class among the various educational buildings available on the campus. The curriculum is strict and we are supposed to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in all the subject classes. Whereas, from the 2nd semester, the students of 9.0 or above CGPA are given a relaxation of the attendance and there are no minimum criteria of classes to attend for them. This university also provides a good chance for research work and researchers have constantly been publishing research papers here.
Campus life is a little less because we students are too much into academics that we usually miss out on that part of a college. Sports facilities are available but yes not sufficient for all. Events, debates, competitions, robotics, and staff are always there in this university and there are some of the other events related to such stuff going on here. The gender ratio is quite good about this college, there are approx 6,000 girls compared to 20,000 boys in the undergraduate programs. But, there is a vast diversity of students here. There are students from across the globe and from almost all states of India.
Techmart the annual technology extravaganza is a major attraction for geeks from all over the country attracts a wide range of global sponsors Spandan is a cultural fest (annually organized) students from all over the country are allowed to showcase their hidden talents.'War of Bands' is my personal favorite (the name is sufficient).
The labs are excellent and discipline is expected.we have a spectacular auditorium almost every next month plays are organized and you could see people like Nasiruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi coming in for 'Rangmanch Prastuti' at the auditorium. Also, a big stadium near the boys hostel with all the latest facilities.

I am a B.Tech student here. My branch is Information Technology. It is a course of 4 years where each year is then have 2 semesters. So it is an 8 semester course. In 1st year, common subjects are taught to all branches. These subjects are just to give a little knowledge of all fields (ex. Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Drawing, Basic computer and C lagaunge, Workshop etc). From 2nd year, core subjects are being taught like Java, Data Structure. In 3rd year we are taught networking and internet.
There is college event as well as University event.College event is organised by B.Tech and BCA students. The technical fest is Techmart which is a good event. Mostly students from nearby colleges comes to praticipate. Strength is almost 2500-3000 .Cultural fest is organised and it does have almost same strength. Sport fests are being organised by university. And you have good chance in sports to get selected in state team.

Exam Structure is non semester pattern for first year and from second year there will be semester pattern as per JNTU pattern.Whether it is Semester or not the students are not over burdened with the syllabus. A Proper care is taking for below average and average students even extra classes are taken for them to compete with others. A Student will be declared eligible for the award of B.Tech Degree if he fulfills JNTU academic criteria.
CMR Engineering College organises various events. We had Freshers Day, Science Fest, Traditional Day, AVAZYA College Fest, Auto mobile Fest and various other events. A part from Studies they are making the students to take active part in extra curricular activities which will be useful for them to sustain in real world.Every year CMREC conducts AVAZYA a technical fest.
Curriculum is lagging behind the standard of IIT's and NIT's. All the concentration is given to the marks, how any one can get maximum marks.Project work is good. College focuses on project in every year so it kinds of increases students practical knowledge, but lot of formalities and expenditure is forced for the file work and reports those reports are of no use and college forces to get hard binding and all.
1 annual event every year- 5 day fest(kalanidhi) it is a inter college event many intra college events also take place department day teachers day was also celebrated everything was celebrated in Poornima Campus also cash prizes were distributed fashion show and students were asked to participate in other colleges as well.

The college does not promote sports activities and also does not provide suitable funds and facilities regarding the same. There is minimal relaxation on attendance criteria and is meant to reduce the marks when one is busy doing something good for the college and himself that is above the academics and helpful in learning the real life. yes, its also helps in maintaining the discipline which is very good but whats the point of creating an environment when the students and faculty both are unhappy.
In my opinion the FEST are organized by the college administration and it is held Intra-College which spoils the enthusiasm and interest in them. The college must let the students gather funds and organize it by forming a committee with minimal interference thus providing them with actual experience of leadership and team management.

Campus life is very boring their are no extra curricular activities no sports activities. Gender diversity boys : girls is 8:2 and half of them are from other countries. Labs are just useless. We do practicals but just for formality. They give marks on practical on the basis of student behaviour not on the basis of theory or practical or viva.
30% job opportunities in our college the placement companies are not too good for freshers and other senior students . They dont provide any proper training . They require some fees for their training. Our college is not so famous low package company comes .Students get placed by themselves from outside not from the college.

No entrance exam. We had to submit our 12th std marksheets and had to have a score of above 70% to make the cut. I opted for ILS, as it is not just ranked as one of the TOP 10 Law schools in India, but I loved the campus and the bonus was that the teachers were lawyers, and brought back first hand experience to our teaching.
Campus life was excellent. Gender RATIO was 65male : 35female. There were no Hostel parties . A lot of workshops and excellent facilities to use. There were workshops conducted by different societies that were established in college. Students could be a part of a number of societies, music, sports, mooting ,e tc.

MP PET, score -> 305/600. It was government college and was ranked high in state. My brother was also passed out of the same college so was aware of the kind of exposure provided by the university.
Faculty was very friendly and supportive. They helped through out very well to understand the courses. Labs were also well equipped and had been provided with practical experience.
All departmentadmit got cent percent placements including core and software many got than one almost 70 percent students got job in core companies from 4 lakh to 12 lakh per annum company like Larsen and turbo, fb ,google, Amazon, Tata steel, Tata motors, tcs, cts etc.
Vamos life is great its oneida the life's you don't get second time do we try to enjoy it in engineering faculty female radio is less but in arts, commerce ratio is healthy their are various opportunity for extracurricular activity like mountaineering, photo class etc.
In university we organised nos of technical and culture event such as departmental freshers welcome celebration followed by one common freshers welcome celebration with the intent for the interaction between the freshers and seniors of all departments like science, arts, technical, commerce background. Then we had annual cultural and arts event i.e. at the end of academic year. We also organised tech. festival in which students from different colleges and universities participated. They were given some technical and innovative task to complete. The winner group was awarded by judiciary. Normally those days in 2008 the budget of annual festival of cultural and technical events used to be 30-40 lac.Every year India's well known personalities or performers of various fields are invited for live show. In my time singers and musician like Vishal & Sekhar, Palash Sen, sitar player like Nishat Khan, bands like Indian Ocean and many more were invited and we enjoyed their live performance and felt the richness of Indian versatility.
In engg. discipline, we used to have 2 times internal class test of every subject followed by semester exam at the end of semester. These class test's marks also used to carry weight-age along with final semester marks. Each semester there used to be almost 6 subject. Being a Deemed university we had flexibility in fixing the dates of internal class tests. Based upon the collective decision and feasibility of students, the faculty used to decide the dates of class test. This helped a lot to study in fragmented parts therefore we never felt like overburdened. We had a wonderful labs and each labs had enough equipments. Attendance in labs was compulsory because this used to carry weight-age in viva at the end of semester. There used to be four sessionals every semester and it was mandatory to clear the sessional with passing marks to move into the next semester.
We have 4 years engineering course, 1 st year is generall engineering like physics, chemistry, maths, etc. 2 year onwards we have semeters covers, fluid mechanics, eletrical engg, heat transfer, mass tranfer.3rd year contains, thermodynamics, mass transfer-2, chemical reaction engineering 1 and 2 etc.4th year contains projects and transport phenomena and Mechanical unit operations etc.
The 4 years is completed as 4 days. good library facility and separate departments building, Good Lab facilities, nice play ground, gym and nice competation among all branches and with in brances with differetnt years.
