The placement cell of LSR works really hard to get a lot of companies on board from Takshila to Mckinsey. The companies are placed into three categories according to the pay they offer. With very few companies which offer 10lac/annum and above, a lot of companies come which offer 6-10 lac/annum or below. According to the figures, out of the students who apply for placements, about 90% of them get placed but that is only for specific courses.
There was various types of subject in MCA which is related to data base, different languages like C, C++, RDBMS, ADBMS, Shell script etc. others are related to database warehouse and operating systems. Also few subjects are related to management of computer. So overall the curriculum of the course was good.

Campus life wasvibrant with 24 hours library, cafeteria being a women's college it was lot safer to venture out in the campus even in the night. Hostel parties were common and all inmates were close atleast those in the same wing conferences were common in the big auditorium in the campus and lot of cultural activities including spic macay programs were held a lot of women from states that did not have medical college were enrolled in the college, especially from north east and all those girls were part of group by the time mbbs was over no discrimination was seen in the campus.
All my seniors helped me in my professional and personal matters during college days and now as alumni they took care of me when i was ill and admitted, they told me hat to study and referenced the important topicsthe bonding is so good that naturally people helpand feel happy if they come to know that i am also from LHMC.
My faculty is very good in teaching. The standard in our college is upto mark with all other medical colleges in the city. The faculty has a really good name outside the college and are always trying to improve education in our college
Fees is actually on part with the government rules and there have not been any problems over fees structure in our college till now. General fees for government students is less compared to management or comed k students.

Semester Examination was organized by University itself. And the center was in near by college. During winters, it was very difficult to catch the public transport to go to exam center in the early morning. The internal exam was organized and hosted by college itself.
Campus life in RKGIT was awesome. There was a playground in the campus. Now some kinds of competition are also organized by college. Gender Ratio was depends on the course and branches. the good ration was available in IT.

Sports - Cricket, football, volley ball, basket ball, indoor games, athletics, table tennis, badminton all are available, they have a seperate sports department to take care of the needs.Apart from that, regular debate competitions are held in all regional languages such as kannada, telugu, tamil, hindi apart form English.
very feasible and the least expensive college. Could be about Rs 10,000/year, when we were students it used to be just Rs 450/year and about Rs 400/exam fees. other than that there were no charges for anything. Since this being govt aided college the fees are very economical

Entrance Examination: RPET 2006 Rank: Between 14000 - 15000. This management of this college runs a well known software company as well i.e. Compucom Software Ltd. So since I was interested in computers I thought there will be more exposer towards the live projects as they have a software company as well.
Multiple BPO and KPO organisations came for placements.Like A3Logics, Wipro, Genpact, HCL, Infosys. And students were offered a good work with reasonable salary packages. Some of the students were also got opportunity with Compucom Software Ltd as well.

On some of those long, seemingly endless nights of studying and writing, it will be only natural for you to long for the good old days. Hang in there. These down periods will pass. Whatever you do, donメt make major decisions about your major, your courses, or even your roommate during one of these blue periods. Things always look better in the morning.
Academic freedom protects the rights of faculty members in teaching and of students in learning. Freedom in research is fundamental to the advancement of truth. The faculty member is entitled to full freedom in teaching, research, and creative activities, subject to the limitations imposed by professional responsibility.

Very good college overall but the people who are aggressive may indulge in extra curricular activities as the enviornment is not that good around the college area. All the gujjars are there and the locals can create a lot of gunda gardi.
Not so good, good companies come but not too many placement is almost 90%. Most of the placement is in retail sector as compared to hotel line as hotel line need much more hard work and the starting salary in hotel line is not that good
Campus life is very good. We have lots of extracurricular activities. There is college western dance team and college Indian dance team same in case of singing and theatre performances also. Very good lab facilities. Sports is given much importance such as hockey, football, throw ball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, discuss throw, javelin throw etc and there many debate, quiz etc competition also.
Exam structure is autonomous. We have multiple choice questions for 30marks and remaining 70 marks for exam. We have internals as well. For which attendance, behavior issues, class tests and presentations are also considered.
Tata consultancy services, wipro tecnologies, Infosys technologies and solutions, satyam or tech mahindra now. were the companies which came for recuritment.many students got selected in campus interview. TCS have offered 3.1 lakhs package per year. satyam offered 2.8 lakhs package per year, infosys offered 2.9 lakhs package per year. wipro offered 2.8 lakhs package. The fee structure during that time was Rs 24500 per year.it differs for management quota. There would be caution deposit as well during the start of the year for library management and labs management. Any breakage in labs and library would deducted from his caution deposit for that particular student. else the amount would be refunded during the final year full n final settlement.

What the campus of our college is?? How it's awesome for me and my friends. Just because it was the only one place where we can spend the time after bunk the college. Extra curricular activities which were done by the college is the Sports competitions against the other University, encorage the student to take part in defferent University's programs etcetera.
First of all the fee structure is every semester wise. And the figure of the fee is around 40K per semester (not exactly figure). Yes, and one thing is that the fees letter receipt after completing the semester they were courier at the student resident.

Campus life was good fun. The labs were good. Most of the fun was in labs playing with those devices and instruments. The college almost equal gender ratio. There was no discrimination at student level on ethnicity. There were students from all parts of India. There were no foreigners in our college during my time. The house parties were there among closed group of friends.
The college was more academic focused. Telecomm students being less in number had a close supervision from department lecturers. My college was good. The faculty and HOD were supportive. We had choices with the electives we want to study. Dept invested in Guest lecturers from industry to teach us on electives like ISDN as there was no internal capabilities.
In the college in a year two fest are celebrate, fresher party, techkriti or anveshana fresher party organise in our auditorium in which many students take participate like dance, singing, poetry etc and techkriti organise in our ground and whole campus in which students show talent from each branch and in students competition happened also. Faculty was not as per Engineering standards.Teachers were not experienced those who were experienced, were exploited by management and forced to work as per their terms and conditions. This is the major grey area of this college. Atleast post graduate faculty should be appointed to teach the students.
Only few companies came like Satyam, indian army, cummins. Stipend offered was 2.4 lakh per annum. However, we have been sent to other colleges of different city for campus placement with our own facility which is again a hectic task because it includes lot of travelling and staying in hotels etc.
The course curriculum felt outdated, and I realised that once I went for my industrial training, we weren't taught courses needed by the industry. We barely had electives, and majorly the electives were divided by 3 categories, thermal, solid mech, automotive and operations. But they came only in 4th year, hence we weren't really able to take up courses and shape our degree like we'd want to.
We had 2 fest during my time one cultural and one tech fest. The level of fest's was alright, we had approximately 30-40lac budget. Most of it from sponsors. Not as grand as an IIT fest. Comparable to DCE, thapar type.
