PET 2003 The college is a very prestigious government college in MP. It had the best environment and faculty. It was an old college, about 50 years old and had full autonomy over it's curriculum.I chose the course because Telecommunications was one of the promising field during those time, and also I liked the subject very much.There was no interview process, selection was based on the PET marks and counselling process.
i don't have information about the stipend.The internship was quite organized. A few students did their projects under a few professors who had industry experience.The students are given choices to select topics and based on the field of the project professors are assigned to guide and help them. A few did in the research organizations like RRCAT, Indore. Also internships were done in BSNL, L&T.
Gendee ratio is about 60:40, that is boys:girls. Small parties are also organised in campus.no discrimination for genders. Workshops are also organised and various socities are there in college like-Dramatics society, music society and photography society.
I took CET conducted ny GGSIPU and my rank was 443 all over india .I took bca as i wanted to learn in IT industry and its developing very rapidy. Admission in on rank basis. Starting from rank 1 and last upto seats available.
No such events we celebrated only once in Navratri festival the event was organized by college and driven by students. Don't know now days what events they are doing since that time we and college both were new.
Good. They were having a good knowledge about aviation and few of them were from the same field and most of them were retired airforce instructors. Overall good combination of faculties to distribute knowledge .
Annual and fiesta, all occasion celebrated. We all got chance to dance party and enjoy at events in addition to the hectic schedule. At events celebrities were also invited and we got chance to interact with them.
JNU entrance exam, I was interested in pursuing carrier in biotechnology field so opted for this course. This entrance exam is done at national level. In addition exam areconducted by IIT also.
I took my job from off campus recruitment. Because power grid was my dream companey and this doesn't participated in placement that year. Although i was selected in engineering service, ntpc, bsnl, air india but i choose PowerGrid.
College provides nice internship. Now avg stipend is about 15000 . This may be less amount in present time but the experience of cutting edge technology is much more valuable.
Electronics was the first engineering curriculum introduced in this college in 1940 after that the College kept on growing now it has 5 curriculums electronics, electronics and telecommunication, computers, instrumental and information technology. The faculty is well versed and are capable teachers .they teach students well and make sure they understand it.
Numerous alumini have gone to abroad for studies various alumini have their own startups which have Bloomed very well. The Alumini I have been in touch through social networking sites and on various occasions visit the college for giving the students guidance for the future.
We did not have anything like that . There were only few companies which came for off-campus like CISCO, CMS and NTTData. Since it was 2009 when the recession has started they was not much intake of students.
I took TNPCEE entrance exam and scored 72 percent overall in it. I chose this college because it was from a reputed trust meenakshi which has got medical colleges also.The college was situated in the city.
Very extensive. Every semester new things to learn.all semesters had 6 or more subjects. All subjects were different from each other so required lots of study. Still remember late night studies during exams. Overall it was hectic but doable.
We had good faculty of professors. Some professors from south india, so language was problem some time but still we managed it quite well. Continue classes and all. But course curriculum was thoroughly explained.
The faculty was well trained . The curriculum was well define. computer science was the major subject. First year consisted other subjects like maths and electronics. second year was focused on computer science.
College organized placement drives and some companies came for placement as well. The name of the colleged is a famous one. So it is easy to find a job even after the college via offcampus placements.
Many companies come at the end of the year for campus placements. But I did not took part in it and neither of my friends did as we wanted to get post graduated and then look out for job. Whereas some our seniors doing masters degree got placed at different packages ranging from 400000 to 800000 per year. Which is quite good. But placements depend upon a person, s capabilities so a student needs to do good in his term in the college.
My admissions was done on the basis of marks scored in 12 th standard. As I had scored 80 percent marks I got admission on merit basis, as the seats are limited to 250 approx. This college is the best college in the city its comes under Punjab university which is recognized in entire world. So I was determined to get admission in this college and luckily I got the admission.
The college life is very good because their is no discrimination b/w boys and girls all are equal their is no role of religion in students life all are treated equally the extra curriculum activities helps a lot in students life because by this activities student can learn new things and build confidence in them selves about new things technical knowladge also helps the students because by this student can learn easily.
Many companies visits the college for the campus requirement program the requirement process takes basically three rounds I.e. Aptitude, technical & HR interview. companies like TCs, wipro, godrej are students first choice. The placement ratio is around 40% per year. Stating salary is good I.e. ten thousand to twenty thousand many got placed this year both off campus and on campus drive takes place every year.
There are 50 girls on 100 boys. College also organise parties on many occasions for students like fresher party, farewell party, dj nights, new year party etc.There is a cultural centre in college called sarla birla cultural and creativity centre with all cultural facilities .There are different grounds and courts for different sports and they stay full in evening every with students .Labs are well maintained and contains every things needed by students.College got best infrastructure in the region award.
I have give state level pre engineering test called RPET and secured 9000 rank. Anybody also get admission on the basis of AIEEE scores and some of management seats. I got to know about my college from one of my friend and then I done research on my level about the college and then I got to know that college is quite good in the Rajasthan region on state level.It have collaboration with many international colleges like polytech nauntes, ensisa etc.
Scholarships are offered to financially back students and other category students and also merit based scholarships are offered to outstanding. Students who surpass academic excellence and are also offered foreign trips to the tie up university.
Excellent campus life with lush green campus encouraging faculties and very good reputation for sports and other extra cureiculars. The college have been champions in football volleyball cricket bodybuilding and many more events.

Internship was a self find and enroll type. Companies never came to us, but we found th, explored them, and if we like them we apply. Internship varied from 1000rupees per month to 5000 rupees per month in the year 2007-2008. How much the companies paid was not a pre-requisite for the college to enable us to apply.
For our department plaxemts were not that great. LnT and Stapati Architects were among the best who came. I think noone else did come at all. But they did offer decent packages compared to industry standards. But no special offering being NIT products.
I appeared in COMEDK entrance exam get the admission in this college as from childhood .It was my passion to become Ethical Hacker which can only be gained by getting admitted in any reputed engineering college with Information Science as a stream.
Till now havent got chance to do the internship but, surely be looking for some reputed organisation to take part as an intern .Although got the stipend in 2 semesters of 500/- each for scoring good marks in final exams.
Campus life was really memorable. There is no extra curricula, or any sports or event. Usually semester runs very fast and during routines no one get time for these activities.
Fee structure was pretty simple. Per year expensed around 50000. At that time it is easy to get education loan from any nationalised bank since it ugc registred college.
Top notch faculty led by the dean Dr Manish. It included a range of highly educated proffesors and some committed lecturer's . The stand out feature of S P Jain wad the impressive array of External faculty comprising of top notch industry professionals who were the once who managed to give a great perspective of the "real world ".
The batch of approximately 100 were placed in two days with every student receiving at least 2 offers. I had an offer with 3 companies and chose Coats Viyella or Madura Coats in Bangalore. My package if I recollect correctly was 8 lakh as MT for the first 12 months.

Career Opportunities was good in my College. I got placed in Wipro and Sutherland (BPO). Wipro- They have conducted online test, Written test. F2F and HR Nearly 2000 students were attended from the various colleges. Package- 3L per annum. I have finished my MS. Sutherland- Its a BPO Company. Got the job and haven't gone. Got it into Wipro.
In our college many events celebrate i.e magnus, synergy, techfest, GTU techfest. Magnus event is organized by MBA student.Synergy event organized by MCA student.Techfest and GTU techfest event organized by engineering student.
It is expensive. The college fee of per year is 92 thousand and transportation charge is additional. The transportation charge per year is sixteen thousand.
Gender ratios 60/40 in terms of make /female, didn't find anything controversial to talk about any of the issues such as sexual orientation to ethnicity . Quality standard by those days was i would say a 6.5 out of 10 .
