Faculty level was very high in our college, as all the faculties were from reputed institute and some of them also having gold medals and having good knowledge to share with us
Allumni is just for record no such connections were made among alumni till now. Also there are no any guidance how to improve the network among senior students.
Well there is no such thing called placement over here. I just heard once that placement is being held. 2 girls were selected but i think none of them took it seriously because it was a night shift job offered to them and with a salary of 12,000 or maybe 20,000.
Well i dont know much but amazon company came which is not related to our course. There is no such thing termed as internship over here just complete your course and get the hell out of here.
We used to have lots of extracurriculars like singing, dancing, play competions, fashion shows etc.We used to celebrate Diwali, Dusshehra(also ramleela), holi, Ganesh utsav, Sai sandhaya etc. There were so many sports competitions as well like basketball, football, cricket tournaments, racing, high jump, long jump etc. There were so many evenings organized by Spic Macay and other theater groups as well.
All the faculty here are very interactive, friendly and helpful. They really work hard to shape the students in all means whether it is personal development or technical development. We used to have guest lectures from the renowned lecturers and whole faculty staff is very skilled in technical terms as well. Almost everybody has done their post graduation and doctorates from renowned universities.

The extracurricular life of the college is on the dull side. As the college dont have a good campus, there are no sports facility in the college. There are no active groups in the college which will provide you a good campus life experience.Yes, the college do have good labs which are well maintained and up to date with the new technologies.
The good thing about the college is its environment. Yes, you will a nice study environment and teachers are also helpful.Bad thing about this college is its architecture as it dosen't have a ground for hanging out with friends and only have a 7 storied building. But on the brighter side, it is situated in the heart of Bangalore.
Very good and experienced professors take the course for M.Tech students, who have solid 20-30yrs of experience in technical education. The staff is well exposed to the industry, which makes them very good in the advanced areas of engineering that are practiced in the industries.
For internship, we got opportunity at CSIR-NAL, Bangalore, which is a premier central government organization and does research and development in aerospace. However, we didn't receive any stipend during our internship, but we being paid GATE scholarship.
In the first year freshers event was celebrated. In the final year send off party was celebrated.in both cases nominal amount was charged from us. We all students had fun in both events which is unforgettable.
As i have already mentioned that it is a government college i got a scholarship of 8000 in the third year. Good students who are excellent in sports, singing, dancing, arts men etc. used to get scholarship.
Gender ratio for entire college was 60 girls to 340 boys. Extra curricular was good. They had quite number of competitions for sports like football- inter college matches, indoor sports, dance competitions, coding contests. There is a huge ground for students to practice for sports. Robotics workshops were held time to time and students participated in competitions related to it. apart from it, each department had own club in which regular events were organized. Birthday celebrations were part of hostels. On every birthday we met at 12 wished that person and enjoyed. On next day we cut cake, had snacks and danced. Initial ragging was there but nothing bad went. People from all castes were there and there was no biasing in any form. It was good college in terms of equality. Economic status was mainly middle class dominant.
College fest are organized once in 2years. It lasted for 2 days. Finance was supported by college management and organized by students with support of teachers. It includes technical, cultural and management aspects. Technical: Quiz contests related to each branch was organized. Coding competition was there in which many students participated. Cultural: Performances like dance competition- solo and group, Solo, duet and group singing, mimicry, plays etc. were organized. Management: Students were awarded in the fest- branch toppers, college toppers. List of well placed students were announced. The best part about fest was food. I loved their caterer.
College management is good, mainitaining discipline, peace and healthy environment for study, quick resolution to problem. Overall it is decent college just one cons in extra curriculum activity, college focus is more on study. I hope my review was helpfu
Course structure is decent, one need regular 1-2 hour study per day, faculty is best as compared to other engineering colleges. They give focus on each and every student, regular tests, practicals gives complete knowledge.

No campus for medical colleges. It happens only in engineering colleges. But after MBBS no use. MD's a must but reservation is ruining ITS quality. Lets see when it's going to change. Hope in 10 or 15 years. No increase in PG seats. Only MBBS seats are increasing. No use of just doctors but quality doctors are important.
Campus life was awesome. Girls were 60 andboys were 40. 15% out of state students. 65-70% from urban. Especially from Bangalore. Many were talented. Only few were oriented to politics. Actually govt college so majority were economically middle class, in private colleges it's vice versa.
There are very few opportunities for placement and that too only limited for mechanical, CS and IT branches and for the rest of the branches not even a single placement. Average salary package is 2 lacs per annum and in some cases the companies you are got selected from the campus does not even exists.
The course curriculum is inadequate, lengthy and outdated. It is like you just have go through the textbooks all day night to score good without having any idea how it will be utilized in real life scenario. There is not at all any scope for the research.
The course is same as mechanical engineering for the first three years with a few extra electives like navigation, guidance and control, etc. the fourth year introduces new subjects and electives related to space mission design, aerospace vehicle design etc.
The faculty is great and really helpful. the faculty is basically scientists from ISRO who are still serving ISRO and are posted to the college as professors. They are current with the technologies of the indian space program.
We have one annual techno-cult fest called Advaita which is held around March. It is a big event where colleges from all over the country are invited to participate in various events. On the last of the fest we have celeb night where some renowned singer is invited to perform. We have had Mohammad Irfan, Divya Kumar and Sunburn performances in our campus till date. Apart from that we have various intra events which keep happening throughout the year.
Placement opportunities were not that good for our seniors but slowly it has been improving a lot. We have had companies like Snapdeal- 15 lpa, Dell-5lpa, Infosys-3. 25lpa, IBM-3. 15lpa, ibexi-4. 2lpa, ITC-3 lpa, Capgemini-3lpa, Tech mahindra-2. 8lpa, Amdocs has its test center in iiit bbsr, elitmus exam is also held in iiit bbsr, mind tree has also made it to iiit bbsr in the running year.
Course is all okay not extra ordinary. They never push students beyond their usual limits and all be it good or bad students are considered same and same communication classes are given which is too much according to me.Business problem framing, Economics, Organisational dynamics are good even foreign language is taught but then issue with foreign language is same they don't provide a separate certificate for it. It's included in course only which is a set back to some extent. They provide business foreign tour but good countries are not included which give great exposure as a management student. Not much of inter college competitions are pushed by professors and all.Attendance a big issue which must not be there because course prepare students for industry so should be bit flexible not like school with strict attendance factor.
Faculty are good like another college. Encourage students to do better. But then again you get to see some lack of enthusiasm in faculty at times they are not able to give innovative ideas or challenge students skills. This is demoralising for some students at times. As a student i was also clubbed with a student not so good and that student gets all credit for my good work and efforts. So faculty is not open n innovative to give due credits which curbs the actual talent.

There are many college events such as Meraki- business plan competition, Marketing conclave- you get opportunities to present your presentation, Finance conclave- one gets opportunity to interact with finance people from industry, Strategy club- that comes up with multiple quizes, Samavesh- annual cultural event of the college, CIP- corporate internship contest as well.
Course curriculum is good but is still lack practical approach its ore of managerial approach which students hardly apply when they are placed. We do have few very important courses such as Business Problem Framing, Organisational Dynamics which are of great use to a student of my age. They help in broadening the perspective as well as my thinking process.
The college is definetly a Nice One, Being in Main city the campus is maintained properly with all the labs facility the Auditorium the basket ball cout, Lawn tennis cout the Badminton court football ground, Parking, Library, cultural hall. many workshop for robotics, Code challenge was Organized every year
The placement cell in the college is really doing a great job. For our batch around 50 companies had visted the campus recruiting around 450 students. The Maximum package was from Exeter. Companies like TCS, HCL, WIPRO, WIPRO VLSI, Nokia, Seimens, Accenture were among the mass recruiter
Extracurriculars were good and well planned labs were as per expectations and were more applicable to engineering students. Sports activities also started in college grounds and were picking up competitions were many and were useful and were applauded by one and all.
Placements was done in large PSUs and in Large Private companies of the day the list includes IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, GSPL, RIL, GGCL, MCX, Inox, PWC, etc. Packages differed and were not benchmarked as the effort was to get 100% placement rather than packages

I think here this college not a worth there is no festival except zest. Zest is of 3 days those 3 days have fun they don't call much higher celebrities they are listed to fee common i think they need to recover over this function. Thy need to add some more programme here new projects will lead to perfection.
Gender ratios are not equal there are 500 girls /1000 boys that is limited to 50%. There is no ragging seniors are good onces in politics, thy score good enough to get voting done these are done from time to time to keep people interested in new things and sort out the matter whenever needed.

Faculty here is one of the best and experienced and very much helpful for the students and always ready with latest methods of teaching with examples. Faculties are trained very well to handle the students pressure and help students and are very generous to the students and also are strict whenever needed
Colleges to provide the placements companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys, ICICI bank, and many companies do come at the campus and take the interview of the student and select them according to their score, interview, skills, and ability. Companies generally provide the package of Rs 3.30 LPA to Rs 9 LPA
