The course curriculum was though bit rigorous and demanding it provided vast space to learn things in a detailed and thorough manner. We followed a semester curriculum which spanned across 4 months unlike trimester system that most of the b-schools follow. Each of the courses had theory course project based on industry problems and case studies. All total were 4 semesters with each semester containing around 6-7 subjects depending on the credit requirements.

You have to submit two projects in two years. In the first year a very few companies would offer internship programmes and please do not expect much stipend. But many students would search for their own summer internship programmes in their desired subjects.
Since this is a business school the fee structure is little bit more when compared to other business schools. But you can earn your money back by scoring well in the exams as the college has merit scholarship programme.
A lot of fests are celebrated in the college. Spring Fest the Annual social cultural fest of IIT Kharagpur is held in January every year. Kshitij, Asia's largest Techno-Management fest is also held in January every year. Also many of the societies of the college organise their fests like Bitwise of Code Club,NSSC of SPATS etc.
The course here is only just perfect. Nor are there many useless things. Only things that have practical importance are taught and given importance. Things that are taught are taught in complete depth.

All Faculty members are Ph.D holders with great knowledge base and have themselves written lot of books. The faculty are well qualified.
Awesome college which gives students full freedom to experience the real engineering elements and yes the flipside it might not have the fancy facilities which the modern private college offer with hefty Fees. Knowledge +Placement is Guaranteed 100%.
I did my summer training at kamarhatty company ltd. A lot of companies came during recruitment phase. Both it and core industry was a part of recruitment. Few eg are Infosys,Wipro,Capgemini,Tech Mahindra,va tech wabag, paharpur cooling towers etc. Our college achieved about 65-75% placement.
Gender ratio was quite normal as you find in a engineering college. Our college had politics but it did not have any interference with state politics. It was independent and ideological. Cultural societies existed like photography, education for underprivileged children etc.
Kirorimal being a government college the fees is really very affordable it is 8000 for each year, with separate 500 rs for examination fees. Rest, books are available from everywhere and usually the reference book and stuff like that is provided by the teachers. It is all very reasonable in comparison to other colleges and private universities. In Delhi university people come from all the backgrounds so everything is fixed keeping that in mind.
Each student has to choose two main discipline subjects with one language and one foundation course each year. People who want to drop language and opt for the 3rd displcipline course can also do that obviously few conditions applied and that subject is considered in lieu of the language one. You always have various option in the foundation courses which makes it even more interesting.

It was feasible for us that time. I have taken education loan for this and i am able repay the amount in my own.It was not too expensive at all. I should say people can afford this college and they will be place themselves and repay the amount to their parents or banks.
It was great I learnt and enjoyed my experience. I have got an opportunity to learn the practical things which is helping me now as well. I was given good amount of stipend (15 K) during my internship.
It totally depends on you that you will like the course or not. In engineering specially in India, if you are pursuing engineering then you will get to know many things apart from study, which are not given in books. However this is a bad thing in India, that the courses which are running currently are very old and most Indian colleges and teachers are only talking about marks and theory. They don't talk about practicals. But still if you are very much interested in doing practicals then no one will stop you in doing this. The faculty is good specially for 1st year. The teachers have very good knowledge and will teach you with their best. But as the year increases the quality of faculty decreases. It means best in 1st year and average in final year.
I gave the UPTU examination and I got 55,000 rank in the exam. I got this college through UPTU counselling. I chose this college because my colleagues told me about this college and advised me to take this college. I had inquired about this college and found that the college has good placements and gives good education. The admission process is simple, if you are taking admission through UPTU/AIEEE counselling then you don't have to give any interview or any exam. You just follow the steps and make all the documents ready. And if you are taking admission through management then you have to give exam and interview, then college will give you the seat in the particular branches depending on the vacancies available.

Very bad experience college do not arrange the intership. We have find by ourself generally people just buy the project and show to faculty. They must provide them source to find the intern.

In our modular system of education we are thought theory on morning and noon session were all labs session practicing the same theory thought in morning. It was not dat hectic as lab classes are fun and we get to learn a lot.
Faculty was also good and helping. Whatever problem we were haveing they listens to us and tries to solve. There are so many are my favorite faculty. Because i don't live in nagpur itself and living in hostel and if there's any kind of problem in hostel regarding food etc they tries to solve it.

Counseling is provided by well educated and experienced academic counselors at the place near to their doorstep. Provides a viable and affordable alternative to conventional mode of education, especially for those who for several socio-economic family and geographic constraints could not get education despite their high motivation and genuine aptitude for studies and also for those who do not have time for education through conventional mode because of their personal professional and family obligations.
