I took Common Entrance Test ( CET ) Karnataka. I scored a Rank of 7042, which was calculated based CET scores and 12th Scores. I scored 91 % in my 12th, but my CET dint go very well. I wanted to do Computer Science Engineering, as it had career opportunities, So i choose Bangalore Institute of Technology, as it was the Best Available Seat at that point of time. Plus i spoke to a few Alumni's and was rest assured that this is the college for me, unless i get a better one in the next rounds, which luckily did not happen.

My seat was through CET, which means it was a Merit Seat, So my Engineering Fees dint cost me Much! First year, all i paid was INR 20,890 + 8000 college admission fees. In the next years, it was almost the Same, increased by 1000 each year. We had additional fees as Exam Fees of 550 amd Revaluation, Retotaling fees in applied for.

I was in the morning batch which is boys only. So no chance of diversity here. In respect of extracurricular activities, there are various clubs which organise many events. You can always take part in those. There are many inter-college competitions, but most of them do not come to the knowledge unless you are connected with the right people or you are exceptionally good in it.

There are faculties who are extremely friendly and would help you a lot. You can approach them after class but be sure to note down their timings before going to the staff room. Also, I personally didnt like a few professors. Well it is more of a personal choice I would say.

The course is much simpler compared to other courses and you get better opportunities cparatively. As the syllabus was an abstract of electronic subjects and electrical subjects with some software subjects as well. This course was a complete package with a touch of knowledge in almost all courses which was a plus point.

I was offerd with 2 jobs. The ratio is quite OK if you are an average student. For software companies there are a number of options. But for the core companies a few renowned ones only come also they consider very highly qualified students as criteria is to tough.

The labs are well equipped with the latest interments and the trainers are also very helpful. They give the opportunity of doing hands on experience to every student.Its a great college for pursuing technical studies. The faculties are all highly qualified and well educated. Most of the students get chances to appear in the campus selection.

Course curriculum is inline with the latest technologies. It includes the latest enhancements int he course details so that the students are updated. The course is up to date with the current cutting edge technicals .

Good amount of options available but package were not decent to get placed into any metro city for supporting company with deliverables.Hcl technologies offers 3.25 lac per annum with variable component.Other companies were tcs, mind tree, cap Gemini.

Few of the course were good but many irrelevant course were added into curriculum which has got less significance in computer science career. More over , less practical sessions were conducted. It leads to gain only theoretical knowledge.

We celebrated 3 events Mainly Branfication which was a brand quiz in which over 700 students participated from different colleges.Creativity that was a treasure hunt in which 500 people invited. And the third event wasWe the people which was an open debate on political topics in which over 400students participated. All these events were planed,managed and coordinated by our MBA batch.

Course was consisting of 4 semesters and 2months corporate internship after 2nd semester.Each semester was having on an average 6 subjects.3rd and 4th semester was specialist based sem in which we choose our core subject. Mine core was Finance Major and Marketing Minor.

IFMR has a national Festival Abhudaya, which is both cultural, technical and Management attracting students from almost all top management institutes across India. Apart from this, they have many social, cultural and other management events which happens throughout the year. All the festivals are celebrated in the campus with numerous DJ nights. The freshers and farewell parties are worth to attend. They also have an annual alumni meet.

Gender ratio is 70:30 (M:F). hostel is fun to live in. We used to have a coed hostel. During my tenure, we had a small but a beautiful campus in the heart of the chennai which happened to be the posh area of chennai. Also Loyala colege(LIBA) was less than a KM away from pour campus. Now they have a new campus in outskirts of chennai with state of the art facility.

The college is always brimming with students performing in one area, others practicing in the other area, it's like a family once you join any society of our college. Campus life is pretty chill as there's Satya Niketan when you cross the road.

Lab classes for my course are for three hours and are pretty hectic after a long day of classes but otherwise labs are air conditioned and sometimes the teachers leave before time. Exams are held with sufficient gaps in between them.

Good curriculum. As per general Standard with touch of some International Management subjects like global strategy and Import Export. Some electives such as Entrepreneurship and CSR is offered for overall development.

For MBA IB 1250000 for two year. It's symbiosis, so have to be ready for this fee structure. Instalment facility available. For international student different fee structure.

It is a two year course. I had choose the pharmaceutical technology course. This is regarding the novel drug delivery system. In the first year there was a theoretical part and in second year is practical.

Exam structure was good as compare to other university. There was two internal exam held during the semester and one university exam . Apart from this there was one practical exam also held.

Our fest is ekathra in which all students in andhrapradesh will participate because our college fest participation certification has a good name in presentations or in any event it conducted once per two years and apart of fest many cultural events are conducted .and annual day celecbrations and many more.

In ou college many of them got internship in some if companies like solivar and kony and more they gave stipend 10k to 20k per month.and in particular company they worked on html, java , sql , c++ some thing like this and some of students deosn't want internship they should work for miniproject.

We have two intenal exams for all subjects as well as labs in one semester. Apart from those we have QUIZ exams which is a part of our curriculum. Each subject has two quiz exams in a semister. We have lab viva every week before conducting experiments on lab.Really it was a good experience.

There are experienced faculty in our college for all branches of engineering. If a student got any doubt and if he is interested to clarify it definitely he can find the best solution in the college itself but the student has to choose the right faculty.

Our college does not offer internships and curriculum does have place holder for internship. But college provides full support if any student wants to go into any company and do internship. I myself have done summer training at a Public Sector firm.

Fee structure is feasible and it is revised every year. But for a continuing batch its same for all four years. Which means for a new batch if the amount is Y, the same would be continued for the rest 3 years. For a new batch it will be Z.

Campus life was great. Extracurricular activities were always encourage by our college. We had annual cricket competition and football competition. There was no gender bias or religion bias or something like that.No political activites were netertained at our college.Quiz, robotics competitions were held at the annual technical fest. Fashion show, singing and dancing competition, face painting competition were organized at cultural fest.Our students took part in various gaming and robotics events at other colleges.

I took B Tech in electrical engineering. At that time our college was under West Bengal University of technology so course curriculum was same as that of the other colleges under WBUT. My electives at 4th year were Power generation economics and remote control telemetry (these were the optional subjects offered in our college).

No internship is offered in college for b tech students however we go outsude companies and colleges for inemternships and stipend . Because it is compulsory compulsary ruke that every B.tech has to get internship to complete B.tech course otherwise degree is not alloted. However phd scholar are here in college they get stipened.

The curriculum comprises four years of course. Every year one student is alloted 10 subjects. Relatice marking is done in every subject by the faculty on a scale of 10. We get spi in per semester and CPI in year which is average of SPI of both semesters.

Faculty was nice but not good enough, there were teachers for some subjects who were constantly changing. Some teachers were very good experienced. Some were good in teaching but there were busy in their Phd's & M.Phills. and was avoiding their duties.

Our campus was very small but well established, there were good labs, sports room, play ground small but well maintained, events like inter college competition for new ideas in electronocs and many more events were there.

Our college had a good internship with some corporate companies like eee, wipro, robo,sunray etc my college offers 79% placements to us.my college is affliated to jntu ,kakinada,and permenantly accreted go nba, banglore my college is also sended a great engineers and diploma holders for jobs because my college containing diploma, B.Tech, M.Tech and mba too.

My college offers 79% placement to students as i mentioned before my college recieved many companies and camps for brilliant students like eee, wipro, robo, ibi etc so many campus interviews are also held in our college many companies offers lots of salary to our students made by avanthi my college consists more than 20 branches in andhra pradesh.

No internship was offered by the college only some students including me went out side for the intership. But college was not at all supporting they were in the view that the students will miss the classes so no one was supporting for intership.

College has created 2 events. Which was having technical and entertaining both some college students participated for it and also some came for entertainment. I was i the seminar organising and stall management for entertainment.

It followed the basic btech curriculum which is their in every other collage. Apart from that the addons where it was compulsory to take a foreign language and and with that english. When it came to electives they had a great range of electives almost covering each and every thing of every course.

There only three events celeberated sanghatha which is annual sports meet. Amifest which is amity's fest and third is the founders day which is the birthday of the chair man.. they dont include much people anywheere it is mostly handled by teachers.

No entrance examination, had scored 78.5% in HSC exams so got listed in the 1st list itself, while being interviewed the teacher asked whether .I had also filled admission form at other college and I said No, the reason was I was confident .I would be selected in the college.The reason for choosing this college was that at that time it was not strict about its attendance, and since I had to pursue my CA cource and its internship it was obvious to bunk college.

The faculty was best.The experience of teachers was greater than our age. The teacher who taught us accounts was a Practicing CA so no one was in position to doubt her knowledge, also she had great control over the class. The Bus Communication teacher made her lecture very interesting, even the Law Sir was a Lawyer and had great knowledge.
