All faculties starting from first and last year of graduation are very cooperative and student oriented. Even in post graduation also all faculties are good enough to win hearts of all students.

Theory exams happened at the end of the year but we were graded all through the year for various assignments with a cumulative grade given at the end of the year. Assignments were constant and were for each professor and we had multiple professors in a month. It also included team assignments so we were on our toes mostly.
95% of the batch had jobs before the course was complete. The remaining 5% had jobs in the next couple of months. Most people were placed as juniors in ad agencies. All applied independently, not via the college. Salary ranged from 2k-10k.
The campus life is good as far as all colleges are in same campus since my college was away from campus, the life wasnt that good in terms of food available, entertainment facilities available around college, and shopping areas and party lounges. All such facilities are available in north Campus where most of the colleges are located nearby.
The college didnot conducted any internship programme for its students. The programme was not conducted by the college and efforts were not made for placement of students after he/she is a graduate. Since, i couldnt pursue post graduation course in the college, so not sure of if any internship programme was conducted.
I did internship but not thorough college. I did on my own from where i did computer course. Internships enable you to gain experience in careers that you may be considering for your post-graduate plans. Your internship experience may present new career interests and pathways or may direct you in the completely opposite direction from which you originally planned.
Faculty was good. Few teachers were really motivating. They always gave us the opportunity to explore ourself and try to exert a positive influence in ourself. Once the professor lists the dates on the course calendar or syllabus, he or she assumes students are capable of obtaining this information on their own without the constant reminders.
Internship was very limited at that period. only a few companies like satyam, Wipro and Infosys came. We mechanical didn't get much opportunities. only shobha develpors was there for mechanical students.
One of the toughest university in kerala when academics is concerned. Elective was quality management and materials management. It was four year course. B.Tech Mechanical Engineering.

The fee structure was decided by MHRD, Central Government. During my time it was 25k per sem but now it has increased upto 60 k per sem. You may say expensive but if you look at fees of private colleges it is much less and affordable and you get loan and scholarship easily if you are student of this institute.
Bachelor of technology in computer science and engineering. This is course offered by utter prAdesh technical university for the students. It contains all the language like c, c++, assembly etc.

I appeared in IIT, AIEEE, WBJEE,and CUSAT got selected in AIEEE, WBJEE and CUSAT but not able to crack IIT. I got 92043 rank in AIEEE so i didnot got any good college as well Course so i joined WBJEE as my rank was good and got good college.
I always used to participate in every competition and workshop organised in college girls and boys all used to participate no bar for anything every body enjoy their life.

I took the WBJEE after passing out of 12. Frankly, the college was under the banner of the Techno Group, affiliated with the state university of Engineering and thus placements are pretty decent. Also, the college is close by my home, and about 20 minutes by bus from Haldiram, which is on the VIP road, thus communication is not a problem.
The placement are actually good, which can not be said about most other colleges. Yet another advantage of being under the Techno Group. I personally got placed in TCS, but I left that and went for a research fellowship at DRDO Labs (there was no help from college regarding that I myself privately applied).
College celebrated a lot of events time to time. Some was technical & other one is Management festivals. Petrotech(technical), Uraja(Cultural), Annual functionI participated in Uraja and i was member of organising team. I contacted a lot of sponsors for our main event.

HL college is well known for its cultural events and many more festival celebration. However it's not a technical college so do not expect any technical festivals but they usually organise some industrial visit.
