HL college is well known for its cultural events and many more festival celebration. However it's not a technical college so do not expect any technical festivals but they usually organise some industrial visit.

Our college is not providing Internship in any Company but can give us leave for Internship in Company. Leave is for 1 month. Currently our college is working on that idea of giving Internship to all students in a reputed well known Company.

My internship was with Pepsi and i got the stipend of Rs. 5000/month and was engaged with Pepsi for 2 months. It was basically a market survey which is supposed to be done by the interns in 2 months time of summer when Pepsi and Coca-cola is at war to get the maximum visibility on stores.
You can't find such a great faculty in any of other colleges in UP. All the professors are quite different from each other. Each of them have their own skill and technique to teach which made all of us complete students.

Course curriculum is nice but have some lack of research work in the course. Some subjects like c# is not in the course. Faculty of the college is well educated expect some, but all colleges have some exceptions faculty is cooperative and solve problems in their lunch time also. All faculty have perfect knowledge about the subject. Faculty are also concerned about that the child is understanding or not.
There is about 1 girl over 2 boys college gender ratio is not good frequently workshops are held in the college auditorium and everybody can participate in it some are free of cost. There is no such kind racism in the college. For all faculties all students are equal.

Course of this is same as of indraprastha university as it is affiliated to indra pratha university so it is good and the course is easy. Passing marks is 40 theory marks is divided in 2 parts 1st is of 25 which is based on your activities done in college like assignment and sessional exam and 2nd is of 75 marks which is of end term exam.
Placements are nearly 70-75% and the average package is 3.5 lakhs students are eligible to give interview . If they don't have any backs/supply when companies come and should have scored at least 70% aggregate marks in all sem.
The course curriculum was excellent, i liked the way the faculty taught the students, they had very good knowledge if what they lectured. The project environment was also very nice. We had to make almost 4 small projects and 1 final year project. Faculty was very helpful for the projects, they helped us in getting things done. Electives i don't remember exactly, but make it a point that you have little chance to choose what you want to learn, it all depends on majority. So you better analyse the scope of electives and then choose wisely, you can convince though to your fellow mates.
I did my diploma in EXTC previously, hence was a direct second year student. Since, I scored good(86%) in my diploma I easily got admission thorough 1st round of CAP. It was a very easy 1day admission procedure. Just make sure you have all your documents and their attested copies ready. I had done a lot of R&D, from which I got to know that SAKEC(as it is called in short) is a very good college and i should enlist it in my 1st CAP options. Also this institute was near to my home, which saved a lot of my travelling efforts and money.
The faculty of the college is pretty knowledgeable then faculties of many other colleges (as per my friends from other colleges describe) but each and every college has some faculty members which make us feel they are from a different planet.
There are regular workshops conducted from students of different societies like for robotics, different software's etc. The gender ratio is pretty much the same but slightly more for boys as anyone would expect from an engineering college.
This is one area where the college is lacking its stand we have to search for the industries in which we can do internships though being the only central university around the state you get the preferences in the local companies but getting internships in a renowned company is hard nutshell to crack i have done my internships at SAIL and INDIAN RAILWAYS. The experience was quite good as you are able to see the real time application of all the principles and theories learned in the classrooms.
It's a professional course B.Tech had clearly got a raputation infact it's not a degree it's a way of thinking but as far as the faculty in the college is concerned it's not up to the expectations there are few excellent and experience prof but there is a shortage of faculty and still there is a lot which can be improved if you are willing to do something the teachers are supportive and encouraging.

1st year-18,500, 2nd year-19,000, 3rd year-21,000, 4th year-21,000. By this structure one can see that it is very feasible in terms of fees, so one can complete his bachelors degree with less than 1,00,000 fees.
The only Techfest that is conducted in our college is equilibrio. A part from that we don't even have a fresher's party also. The college regulations won't agree even if we try to do so by our own.
We had a decent gender ratio at college. If I am not wrong it should be 50:50. We had people from different parts of India like Jaipur, Udaipur, Nagpur, Nashik, Delhi and so on. Economic status of most of the students was mediocre. College didn't have any technical activity as it was a management institute. But sports activity were plenty.
College has good all the infrastructure in place. They need to improve on couple of faculties. Plan more events in terms of interaction with other colleges to understand how their students are groomed. Overall a good experience. Something which has changed my life in a good way.
All in all I want to say that college experience was good for me. I enjoyed full masti. College was good for study but there was problem for labs and extra curriculum activities. That is why students opt elective subjects like BA as I did. If all facilities will be provided by college that students will do other courses.

They are all OK and few Faculties were extremely Good. Specially who takes the general papers like Maths, Physics and Chemistry.Coming to department Specific. Most of the time we did self study and some doubts were clarified by concern faculties.

Previously there was no career placement cell in the college for 4-5 years, as it was not necessarily a requirement of this field. But later on a career placement cell was opened to help students guide them through their career path.
College celebrated an annual cultural week & a sports week. Campus festival is also celebrated every year, karandak. Which is a well known event in pune, colleges from all over pune & maharashtra participate in the event.

The best place to have fun and learn. Education imparted tops all the colleges of eastern region and the students keep shining higher and higher to give it even a bigger name. The experienced and dedicated faculty help nurture the future minds into the right direction. Best of all you can always do your thing play, sing, dance etc to make your name in the field and make the university proud. What is fun is its 24* 7 Wi-Fi connectivity, spacious classrooms, good teachers, great hostel accommodation, furnished Gym Centre, playgrounds and good quality mess food. The placement is what excels here. If you have what it takes you'll surely get into one or more companies.
The campus life is such that you would remember for a lifetime. It's really superb. The gender ratio is kind of equal 50:50. The diversity is vast and student from all parts of the country come to study in the college and even from outside the country. The extracurricular activities are good to be a part of and there are many in number. The labs are well equipped with latest equipments. There are a lot of societies and robotic events that you can be a part of too.
A good network. Every year the alumni meet is held in January. The same network is also used for placements of future students. Guest lectures. Also alumni are encourage to come as guest lecturers and share their experiences and success stories. The current Alumni head is very active and ensures that frequent updates, event schedules etc.
The faculty was a mix of University recommended qualified and there were a variety of guest lectures that were organized. This mix allowed for a curriculum which had its foundation in the past but also accepted that the present was a must to ensure the readiness of the students to deal with the corporate environment.
As a government college, per year expens is max. 3500/ semester excluding final semester as it contains project. Final semester would cost max. 8000?- so as to travelling expenses project cost.
That would be 200% of placement as each student had 2 or 3 jobs in hand while getting the final degree. We had Essar steel, L&T, Tata Motors, Adani Power, Reliance Industries, NTPC and so.
Senior students were great. They always helped us out with the difficulties of the college management and syllabus. We were very thankful to them and after that we treated the same way to our juniors.
Exam days were chilled out for me as you knw that this is end. This is the time where you have to do what you prepared though. So I feel chilled as its a performance time for an artist.
