Yes the course research is nice and the faculty is well qualified almost M.tech and P.HD holder lab is excellent last sem the capstone project is research is well placement program is best coordinate.

The placement statistics are not that great as compared to other college, but it is the best in Uttarakhand. many students here apply for higher studies and many get placed in companies like Honda ,Tata etc. also there are many societies like the SAE wing in the college which encourage students to participate in competitions thus promising for better job oppurtunities.

There are many events in college, then it be the technical fest or cultural fest. The technical fest is engineered for a week, where different colleges are invited to participate into competitions. Also there is sports fest, here student can continue playing sport he likes and may participate futher if he wants to.

Fee structure is quiet high of this college while in comparision of all the other colleges of madhya pradesh fee of this college is 90000 per year and 55000 per semester which is high. Beside these managment charges such as training and placement charges,miscalleneous charges,transport,internship etc makes budget very high so before getting admission here keep a view at fee structure o f this college.

Yes scholarship for meritorius students are always offered by our college. And special fee consesson for students belonging from low class or poor family. Beside the our university also offer scholarships for meritorius and financially crisis students ,for getting that scholarship college managment supports a lot to students with details information and guidelines.

My Internship experience was awesome as because including me we six students did summer internship in CSIR-CRRI, Delhi. As we all know that Central Road Research Institute of India is the only prime research institute of india and it delivers lots of features, new improved techniques from the newly implemented systems, innovative ideas to the research scholars from the top class scientists involving in various research projects in CRRI. At that time our stipend was Rs.8000/- per month.

Ragam was the well known annual social fest celebrated in the year which was the 2nd largest fest after IIT Madras in South India. Crores of money were spent out during those days and students from our college and other colleges use to come and participate in various competition, contests, programmes and events. Apart from that Tech fest was there and many other cultural programmes was held side by side.

There was no internship through our college and internship was not compulsory. In College gender ratio was good. No extracurricular activities were entertained in by college. Campus life was boring. Only students should attain lectures & go back to home or hostel. No good memories are created at college other than studies.

When i joined svit i was having so much hope that i will get placed in good college but due to recession in mechanical field very less company came for recruitment drive and gave package of 3.5 lacs.

Job or placement is not the matter as Heavly exhausting internship, 2000 per month is stipend best course, not so good faculty . In Amupmdc exam 2009 i scored 172 marks and got Dr.PDMMC, Amravati in first counselling. I oupted for the college in third counselling. I was not willing for a private college and as I assumed the management is really money minded and solves every matter on money basis only but at last its the degree and personality we get. The batch before ours didn't got the stipend but as we protested for it for a month then the considered us for a nominal stipend as the course provide a good degree so as to think of a brighter future .

Expensive for them who don't have any type of scholarship every festival is celebrated by the students will and by there own cooperation.. The college only wants money out of it so if got caught in any of foul play whether be unintentional u will have to pay huge money if u get scholarship then your some problems get solved.

The structure of college is really nice as every big college have our college also have good structure in the every field as the building managemant or other works all is perfect as per direction by the director all give their 100% for the college and made him best for the students.

There is all festival are held in the college campus like teachers day annual funcation, farewell and the all type of the festivals THAT ARE NECESSARY as per directed by the acadmemic calender and the according the holidays all type of cultural programme are held in the campus.

Campus of RIT is very god and charming. The gender ratio is well maintained and there are no such ragging and all the stuff in the campus as well as in hostel. Extra curriculum activities such as sports events, social activities, NSS, and all the competitions are taken in RIT. Labs are well maintained and are updated. The standard of living is high and attached with ethics of the college.

The courses provided in RIT are advanced and as per the need in the industries. The B.Tech degree enriches the value of the student after he/she passes out. The extra curriculum activities in the college enlightens the overall performance of the student in and outside of the college life. The electives are very modern and provide current knowledge to students.

Campus life here is really good. We have 3 other colleges in our campus(MIT ID, MIT FOOD TECHNOLOGY,MIT ISBJ). Campus has a breathtaking environment and it brings our the best of nature. The gender ratio here is approximately 1:2 1 being the male. In campus we have a large playground for various extra curricular activities like house competitions, INTER MARTIME, SUMMIT etc. We have PT ground, basketball courts(3), volleyball courts(3), Football ground and a cricket pitch. All kinds of sports equipments are provided by the college in campus only for the cadets to play with. Every year Inter maritime is organized by our college where different marine colleges come from all around the country. Summit is organised by MIT group where all engineering colleges take parts. Coming to student diversity we have cadets from all over the country viz Bihar, Rajasthan, New Delhi etc. I have 2 roommates who are from Bihar and I am from Rajasthan. Their is no gender or race discrimination or religion whatsoever in our college and campus for that matter. We live in harmony and peace. All of us don't care who we are and where we are from, we are here to study and enjoy thats what we care. The whole batch stands for each other in times of need. We help each other at every level from personal to economical. We are not here to divide ourselves, we stay together as a team.

There are numerous events celebrated in our college every year. Some of them are as follows :-1)Global Shipping Seminar- This is a technical seminar where lectures are given by designated personalities. Directors and chief engineers from different companies come to give lectures on the upcoming future of merchant navy and other technical topics. It is held every year in our college auditorium and attended by cadets from different maritime colleges from all over the country. 2)Inter Maritime - This is a sport event organised by our college every year for all the merchant navy college all over the country to give boost to the sports aspect of our college. Different competitions are organized in this event viz swimming, rowing, cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, etcIndependence day and Republic Day are celebrated with full enthusiasm and PARADE is also done by our cadets for the chief guest. 3)Different cultural festivals are also organised bt our college viz durga Pooja, ganesh chaturthi, vishwakarma Pooja etc . All of these events are organized by the cadets and guided by our faculties. All the events are held peacefully and enjoyed by everyone including our faculties.

It is good medicine and surgery is good faculty is helping in nature all subjects are taught in detail you can see seniors and lecturars in library all the time hospital is also good.

Good thing is that we have to do practical as much as we can n for that there is lots of practical lab n best faculty who already worked in hotel indusry. So they teach us how to talk n abt grooming which kept imp role in hotel industry.

I have taken Presidency College Entrance Exam in the respective subject Mathematics. I have secured 35 rank in that exam and gets admitted in the Mathematics Department. I have a strong base in Maths and wanted to build my career in this field. The examination was moderately difficult but I fared well to crack the written exam. There was a short interview taken by the HOD which mainly focuses on the soft skills. My dream was to get admitted in this prestigious college as Many dignified personalities passed out from this college.

The Presidency college is known for its cultural programs and Annual fest (MILIEU Annual Fest). The fest used to run for 4 to 5 days. Many celebrities and well known personalities from various fields were invited as guests and for performance. Many college students also participate in many cultural programs like singing, dancing, musical performance, drama, speech, recitation etc. Apart form that there used to be an annual sports day celebrated for all the students as well as the staff members.

The campus life was a nice joyful experience the extracurricular activities are initially are not well adopted but later management looked into it and they allowed students to participate in sports events such as football, cricket, badminton they allowed us to play and practice daily after 4 PM also we conduct workshops and technical events every year and many students from other colleges participate. The labs are also good and we are provided internet connectivity all the time which helped many rural students to learn.At my college male and female are equally treated and there is no discrimination.Also the gender is nearly equal.

I Chosen this college because it is the best performing college in my region.I chosen this college through TNEA (Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions) counselling 2011 and I didn't taken any entrance examinations i went to Chennai to attend TNEA on the date allotted for me at Anna University, Guindy, Chennai. The process is simple first the candidate is called according to their respective time on the allotted day. The candidate needs to get through the verification process and then have to chose their desired college.Like that I chosen this college.

Placement is not so good they call some stupid companies and show 100% placement on papers. For engineering students college is calling some BPOs. Only infosys comes for mass recruitment. But they had given joining letter after 1.5 years.

College celebrates a big 3 days zest in February. That's very famous in NCR it includes star night,DJ night and so may inter college competition in almost all the areas. But again students need to pay a extra amount of fees for that.
