Placement opportunities very for Branch to branch. Computer Science and Information technology Branch enjoy good placement opportunities as majority of software companies are present near the college as the college is located in NCR. Region so various software companies are easy to find and almost every student of CS,IT branch But in case of other branches not much companies visit the college campus and they have to go on Pool Campus Placement Drive.

I planned to take loan for my B.Tech course..and it is easily offered to me. But I changed my mind and do not go for the loan. Loans are available depending on the income of the family and if guaranteed to return within specified time-bound condition. Scholarships are also available and offered by the State Government to the economically weaker students and covers almost 2/3rd of the course fees.

Placement was good specially for my senior batch. In my time there was crisis in the markets so less placements from my batch. Mostly students were absorbed by the companies in which they were doing the internship. Cairn India given the highest package of 10 lakhs per annum, ONGC 7 lakh per annum GSPC given 5 lakhs per annum.

Event like fresher party and Fairwell party for seniors is celebrated time to time and we enjoyed alot. Singing dancing, seniors sharing exoerience was very good. The big event is Petrofest which is conducted by our director every year in December. People coming from all over the country for this event.

The arts and sports fest are conducted every year these are done on the basis of dividing the entire college into four groups. These groups compete each other in these fests. Arts fest called Excel normally conducts all well known items like dance, drama, skits, mimicry, songs, writing contests etc. The sports fest consist of all major sports items like football, cricket, athletics etc sports and arts days are celebrated for 3 days. There are also Tech fests called Ibito Excel conducted every 2 years with a huge participation from other colleges.

Kerala state engineering entrance is required for this college. I got 4563 and got computer science branch. A rank below 5000 is required minimum to get into this college.If you want other branches like Mech or EC , you got to score below 3000 rank. I chose this college because it is the best self financing colleges in kerala. It is one of the top 5 engineering colleges in kerala. Admissions processes are normal and will end it in one day. You got to bring all the necessary documents and some funds like PTA fund,Bus fund might be there.

Alumni and senior students are always friendly and sensible. They are interested to guide the junior scholars in a good path regarding their research. But the important thing to be followed is the publication ethics. It is ethical to make the fellow researchers as co-authors, when their help or role in preparing the research articles is significant. Once this is taken care of, the help is continuous and quite generous. Unfortunately, I have a fellow researcher who only gets the help and does not acknowledge. But I continue my help to him to reduce the burden on my guide.

I studied M. Tech in Electrical Engineering. When I applied through the DGFS-PhD Notification, I was among the 100 people short listed for the written test. After clearing the test, I have gone through the phase of oral interview. When I was finally selected, I chose to join as PhD opportunities in real time research areas are very rare, at least in India.

B.Tech is 8 semesters course, my branch in this course is Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In IMS Engineering College better lab facilites, discipline , Guidance & strict attendance criteria , which makes this college to stand in top engineering college. Infrastructure of college is not so good. IMS engineering college provides B.tech degree in computer science engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, Information technology and Bio technology. Lab facilites are good for this courses. Many core companies are visited for Placements in their particular courses.

Boys & girls are 70/30 ratio per 100 students.Regular seminars are held for every branch on last Saturday of month.Workshop for robotics, PLC, embedded systems ,Pcb etc are done by college. Fresher's and farewell party are also done for fresher's and super seniors. Cultural quiz and events are done in fest & quizzes. Any one is not discriminate according gender, race, religion. College have also students group like Humans, ENvincibles,SPANDAN,etc which increase the soft skills of students by doing campaign,debates, Group discussion and technical , cultural and sports quiz.

All are good at there levels, in sports I mostly play cricket because i like cricket game most. It is one of my fav. game. All students and teachers are very active. Facilities are not much available in our college but all are very cooperative.

As i written above all students are very cooperative and helpful,seniors are well mannered all will guide you what you want to achieve. You can consult any problem or any views with them without any hegitation

The official major events in our college are Rendezvous and Tryst. Rendezvous is the cultural festival of our institute, where there are all kinds of cultural events of dance,dramatics, stage play, singing, bands from all over India and even all over the world. Tryst on the other hand is a technical festival, where we have technical competitive and non-competitive events. Robocon is our main attraction, but there are overall all kinds of workshops like hacking, coding, aurdino workshops, etc.

The gender ratio at IIT Delhi is one of the poorest. Depending on the department it can range from 1:3 to 1:100. on an average, the ratio is about 1:7. As far as tolerance in terms of race, ethnicity, religion,sexual orientation etc are concerned, no such cases of discrimination had been reported at IIT Delhi during my stay. The overall environment is very good, with clubs for almost every cultural or technical activity. The student groups are always busy organizing some event or the other.

Coming to the placements and job opportunities, moderate placements was held in our college at my period.we discussed with the senior faculties about this issue too. around 200 people were placed in various software and telecom companies. Companies like Dell, Microsoft, Accenture, Serco etc. They offered good packages to depends on students capabilities.

The assessment of my college faculty was very much experienced as compare to other colleges. Highly qualified faculty we had, and we had a great experience with the faculty. They all are completed their post graduations respectively. More importantly the way of teaching was very very nice should be understand by the dull student too.

Fees structure of college is not too expensive in comparision to the college which are stuiated outside of west bengal and at the time of admission one has to pay admission charge in favour of university and after that college will take tuition fees every semester and if you want to live in hostel then you have to pay 20000 per semester for that and i think hostel charge is also not too expensive and all i can say that in terms for fees structure college is good.

Campus life is wonderful and till now i have enjoyed it very much and in my college gender ratio is 7:3 in terms of male and female and in class room there is no sitting difference in between male and female and in the lab or workshop both works together and in the fresher parties and all other college festivals both participate and make enjoyment that is good about campus life.

The college is very good taking into account it is an NIT. Recently it hasnt been upto the mark though. The location is far away from the city and allahabad does not have much to offer.

Various events are organised every year. Students from many colleges come and participate. Students from all over the world are here at MNNIT.

Gender ratio is almost about 80/100 i.e 60 girls per 100 boys. Several workshops are conducted on different topics like ethical hacking etc. Sports -our college have an 15 acre field for different sports like cricket footbal etc..every year we participated in inter college level in different sports. Students at IIST mostly hail from semi-urban areas and as such the institution arranges for upgrading their 'English Communication Skills' through a computerized 'Language Lab'. Furthermore, to ensure all round development of students and to prepare them for the tough battles that await them in the intensely competitive corporate set-up of the modern times the institute conducts 'Personality Development' sessions from the very first year which are presided by top notch Soft Skill Trainers and Clinical Psychologists.beside these all a lot of masti at campus.

Yes our college is provide internship for different companies. Industrial Training: These Training are planned for final and prefinal year students . This is done in order to give students an exposure toactual working environment and relate theoritical learning with actual practice on ground,these are some companies which come for providing training and internship:-Aerocam, BHEL, Bridgestone, BSNL, Caparo Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. CATCedar Support Crompton Greaves.

Campus life is pleasant with people from different parts of India meeting and getting to know each other the gender ratio is off balance and the number of girls is very less compared to boys. There of plenty of diversity in the campus and a number of extra curricular activities to take part in there is no discrimination among students and everyone here is very tolerant of each other's origins, choices and lifestyle.

Placement opportunities are really good for B.Tech courses but not so much in core non circuital branches and even lesser for M.Tech and other PG students when it comes to placements, the main focus of the college is on B.Tech students and PG students don't get the same kind of opportunities that being said, 30 40 % of the class does get placed and the others try for off campus placements.

Placements and job opportunities are really good with a large number of reputed companies visiting for campus placements these companies also offer large CTC packages and some students even got a package of rs 25 lpa though PG students don't enjoy the kind of placement oppurtunities that the UG students do and only a small number of us get placed from college.

We have a number of fests the main ones are festember It is the official cultural fest of NIT Trichy it attracts a large crowd and is very popular among other colleges too pragyan it is our cultural fest and is appreciated and taken part in by a lot of other colleges of southern IndiaThere are plenty of other events too that are held throughout the year.

CET, scored 1324/and found this college as the best one in terms of academics and co-curricular activities. The lecturers were amazing with lots of enthu and professionalism.

Gender ratio is almost 60:40 (boys to girls)No dorm parties as such Lot of workshops are provided by companies like Bosch, Ashok leyland, etcAs far as Ethnicity is concerned its a mixture of many ethnic groups which gel along sometimes and sometimes don't. Management does politics sometimes and are biased towards certain students who have close ties with the management.

Since computer science is a bachelors degree, there were a few opportunities on research provided you are a part of IEEE organization. However courses such as Phd & MS are offered that give the students an opportunity to so research. Apart from these the lecturers are encouraging who provide there time to help in research activities upon interest of the students.

Actually yeah they do provide us internships but as we all mite already know the opportunities for mech students in internships are very less compared to other branches of enginering bt still we do get a few internships like the one I'd got whch ws quite small bt still hey, thts an internship so please dont think or worry abt the internships and all the final goal is just getting placed.

The seniors here were just too good with us and the alumni network also cuz even im am alumni now and we still are in contact with one another and also the college and the students also. We were also well treated from our seniors and we also continued the same with our juniors there are no ragging as such but yeah people do tease around simply for fun but not the very high levels.

The placement process is also well when compared to other colleges there are more than 50 companies our college students get palced in a year. Like wipro ,tcs, ctss, pollaris etcthe package is around 17,000 and above.

Now there are two companies went for our college sanspariel, hexaware technologies. The interview process is really good .They conduct the apptitude test,tecnical,Group discussion,and HR interview respectively.

There is no college internship for our students they didnt offer any stipend but they are giving some training classes regarding job opportunities and some english spoken labs and communication interviews are there.

Faculty was not that much good we have to prepare by ourselves only library is there we need to get some books and old question papers faculty maximum are M.Tech persons and lab assistants are diploma guys.

Our campus life for continuous four years is really really awesome. We achieved our academics along with good culture and standards. Being its an coeducation our ratio is to be average 40:20 based on the departments. We use to be equally participated in all the events including academics, sports and cultural. In our campus we use to celebrate every festival equally towards strong unity. All kind of economic back ground people use to be there in our college with same priorities.

The major event in our college is our college anniversary, we literally blast on that day with all kind of fun and activities. On the same day we use to have sports events, technical events and at last cultural events. Freshers day is even good along with inter university fairs. We use to have chance to participate in personality development sessions conducted outside the campus, like Stony carter etc.

The two main events organise at NIT hamirpur are Hill'fair and nimbus. Hill'fair is the cultral event organised in odd semester while nimbus is technical event various students of nearby colleges participate in these events various clubs perform during these events and a pre hillfair event is organized by team in4mals i.e. campus star.

8 out of 10 the placement record at NIT Hamirpur is fine any other companies like Verizon, Drishti, software, Godrej, Maruti Suzuki, Oracle, Mu Sigma, Samsung electronics and many others visited the campus the average package offered to the student is 5 to 6 lacs and highest package goes upto 18 lacs.
