Students from all other years can join any of the messes. Messes are run in each hostel. B & C hostel messes are run by college directly and other messes are given on tender. Daily expense used to be anywhere between 35 and 60.Now moving to the real question. Several of my friends and I did not join mess from almost the second half of second year. And nobody ever cared to ask us why we were not joining any mess. It was the time when the OBC reservation came into effect. And as a result, messes that used to have 200 odd members were now starting to accommodate 350+.And we enjoyed the food from the famous chechis (a small local hotel located outside the campus) for over two years.

Almost 60 to 70 students are placed among 400 students and the companies which were came to campus for selection are not good . Most of the companies are start up companies. They were came to college because they got money for doing this thing. And in campus mostly students are declared selected but when we go to the company they told us that we are not qualified for the post and offered us paid training.

In present day college is working on this matters also. The management now a days organised good number of cultural events . The best event we celebrated in college is the first alumni meet which was organised for the first batch of college. In this event the music band which is booked for this night made the event more memorable.

Again - placements mostly done for Commerce courses. Decent packages. Arts students have to mostly look for freelance jobs themselves or post graduate courses with little help from the college. But if you're good - you can find some real helpful advice from your seniors and teachers.

The gender ratio is pretty stable. Campus life is pretty good due to some excellent company amongst college societies and such. Infrastructure and administration is a major issue though - DU is very non-cooperative with its students when it comes to helping them around campus.

Gender ratio is 5:3, 2-3 workshops used to be conducted but it used to be in general for all n not for our specific department. Also me were aksed to pay for workshops event thought those charges were taken in the term fees as said I'm local so I don't know about hostel things cultural societies and tolerance with regards to gender is narrow as if a boy and girl speaks they are seen as couple which is wrong race and religion that really isn't visible now a days except the Hinduism thing in society. sexual orientation is also not much seen here in. yes political n economic status is seen very much I mean it exist in this college

About internship it's not in approach followed here in Solapur university which I really Couldn't agree with, as student really need to know how as organisation works. we just studied what our lecturers taught us and I think it's just 2 percent of what is used in organisation.

The internship period was concentrated only over a month, or even less but, over that short period, the blue chip companies visited the college and each company hired at least 4 5 students for the internship period. The stipend varied from conpany to company but was pretty good for some of them. One of the companies even offered 50000 per month but a disappointing thing was that the focus of companies was only on students with algorithmic coding background, leaving other students with little to no choice to compete.

The college hosts 3 major festivals evert fiscal year the first is an intra college cultural festival, having a footfall of roughly 500 people the second is an inter college technical fest, organized with various mega events, having a footfall of around 2000 people. The third event is the main highlight, Moksha, the inter college cultural fest which boasts of a footfall of 4 5K.

College is provide healthy study environment. For course structure it provide 5 to 6 year teaching experience faculty members for each lectures .Way of conducting classes and clarifying students doubt is good .and students friendly Doubt clear classes also provides our college which is clarify the students doubt.

For a fresher job opportunity is 100%. Initially salary scale is low but for improving the future job satisfaction is good. In my college wipro(5.7l/a), L&T, TCS, TATA Motors, Mahindra and Mahindra. All companies salary scale provides different in between 1 lakh per annum to 7 lakh per annum.

From last batch of students 123 were placed from total of 140. The highest offering package was 22 lakhs. As mentioned above companies like wipro ,infosys, sunpharma,ICICI BANK, HDFC BANK other major public or private sector companies visit the campus last year.

I have given CET Common Entrance Test of panjab university. My elder bros have graduated from this university and they guide me for my better future. Although it is good university with peaceful and attractive campus around 2.8 Square km.

Course was awesome i am very enjoy in that three years bachlore degree i am intrested in physics from childhood so thats why i am taken this subject and faculties are too good they teach me very clearly and smoothly. Faculties have very good knowledge and very qualified i like only one professore of physics he is so frankly and so good man in his life.

In my college for job placement is not good only 3 to 4 companies are came and they all are belongs to BPO sector and i am not interested in that sector companies name are HCL, Aegis ltd ,reliance pvt ltd ,softage information technology and etc are coming to hire but i think after gradution this jobs are not suitable to me.

The internship was good. There were 2 internships in the second and the other internship in the third year. The college itself takes the responsibility to send it's students for internship. In the second year they sent me to VIP bags for a week and in the third year they sent me for a month approximately to L&T.

The course which I studied was mechanical. The teachers and faculty are very good with atleast 3 degrees. They teach you more of practicals and very polite and ready to help. Overall the curriculum is very good and is enjoyable here in this college. Sastra is known for mechanical and civil engineering courses.

Lots of companies use to come in various offers. Example Flipkart, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, snapdeal, amazon for the awesome packages. Our college has a consecutive limca book record in highest no. Of placements in India. In the topmost its companies. Avg Packages are 4 lakh and highest placement gone is about 25 lakhs.

The course structure is definitely very tough it takes time to study ownself but the faculties are highly qualified in our college with MS MTech and Ph.D. so it's easy to understand complex topics. And the course standard we vitian follow is equivalent or very close to the topmost univ. Of India.

There is no compulsion of attendance so that you can decide by yourself if you should attend classes or not. You have freedom to choose your courses other than some compulsory courses of your discipline, by which you can follow your interest across any discipline. More than 150 elective courses are offered each semester which you can choose from to study.

Summer internship are a part of the curriculum and are graded by BITS faculty. These opportunities are provided by BITS and you are given an option of around 300 companies which have tie-up with BITS. What you finally get is of course based on your academic credentials. Job scenario varies drastically branch-wise. BITS has a very strong Alumni network and regularly organised Alumni meets.BITS has a Practice School prgramme which includes two courses which are basically interships that the college provides you in tie up with companies.PS1 in second year summer vacations for three months and PS2 in the final year for 6 months.Internship The placement scenario of the campus is really good besides .the student run placement team also focuses on getting stratups for placement.

The college occupies almost equal number of boys and girlsthe campus is not that greatstudent come from all caste and creedall religions are seen visiting the collegeno bias based upon religion or race exists. There are many extra curricular activities and competitions.

I scored 85% in my ty bcom to get admission in Government law collegeI heard that many big lawyers n judges had studied from this college thats why i opted for Government law collegethe admission process was tediouslong queue.

It is the best college, because there is no discrimination between student as well as girls and boys. And the labs are so cleans and all the things are good in lab as well teacher helps much in practical.

Its the best college ever i m very happy to be to study here. The staff faculty is very good and all are very caring i easily get admission in this college.

Waves is the colleges national level festival, conducted in the month of November every year. Students say its the biggest fest of Goa, and sees a massive participation. The entire campus is bubbling with activity during the entire festival. The college stays off for 3 days of the festival, and 2 more days of holiday follows. Students dont look at it as a 5 day holiday to go home, but participate with enthusiasm. BITS, Pilani hosts a popular sports festival

The fees are quiet high as compared to governmment colleges, however, they are legitimate as compared with other private colleges in India. The overall experience and quality of living which you get is worth the high amounts you pay. Scholarships are given each semester to meritorious students. Also, there are scholarships for those who have a need for financial aid and are showing satisfactory performance in academics.

A candidate who has been offered admission will have to pay Rs. 53,800/- (Admission fees and Semester fees for the Starting Semester of the programme) immediately on receiving the Admit Offer Letter. Any candidate who desires to discontinue from the programme after confirmation of admission & registration for the courses specified in the admit offer letter will forfeit the total amount of fees paid.Certain fully residential programmes like B.S. The student culture at BITS Goa is worthy of emulation. A diverse crowd from all over the nation. The senior-junior relations are a highlight. No one faces any discrimination or inconvenience due to race, religion, gender or anything else. It is mostly an open-minded group of people having varied political and economic statuses. Not much parties except at fests, which are always under the purview of administration.

Course curriculum and syllabus was correctly followed - university of kerala. My class consist of around 100 students. the classsroom looks excellent like a cinema theatre. Faculty was well qualified and helpful. chemistry lab was the main attraction of the college. Big hall with all required equipments. nearly 90% of students opted for private tuitions since classes were not held due to strikes by college unions.

The college environment is great. However, student union creates problems and announce regular strikes. This means i will have to return home during the middle of the class. hence, students will never get an opportunity to learn completely. examinations w

Currently, theres a combination of junior and senior professors. And essentially the senior professors take the core subjects that come in the later years. Senior Profs are experienced and good teachers. The less important subjects are taken by junior professors. But the issue here is that the college has very few senior profs, only 3 out of 10 would be senior. But luckily, theres a system of course rotation in BITS, that ensures one teacher doesnt keep teaching the same subject all his life, thus this system ensures the bad teachers are get better or thrown out.Students nevertheless study hard, and learning stays unaffected. Even projects that students take up are pretty interesting.

Placement process for a semester starts about two months ahead of the semester.Companies provide necessary data through Job announcement form.The same is studied and a formal invitation is sent out by e-mail.A mutually convenient date and time for Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) followed by selection process is fixed.Visit is announced to the students along with data as given in Job announcement form.Interested and eligible students apply on-line.Company confirms travel plan a week before the allocated visit date.The selection list is announced as soon as company finalizes the same.Students sign the offer letter and a copy is forwarded to the company.

After my HSC result i have took the admission by filing form and paying fees and there must a list prepared on merit after the merrits there is a list on notice board by divisons and then the classes must starts.

The facultys are so much experienced almost after Phd cources they like to teach more in this college the principal is so much worried about the students future there are some extraordinary facullties also.

The placements of the college is very good. Many companies come and take away the students of our college. Major companies are TCS, Wipro, iGate, Tech Mahindra, Trianz and many other IT companies. The salary packages are also good, an average of Rs. 3,50,000 per year is received by many students. 75% of the students were placed for the year 2015. The highest salary was Rs. 4,20,000.

College festivals are awesome. Arcadia is the annual Fest of the college. Sunidhi Chauhan was the main performer for the year 2015. The freshers party is also good. The technical fests are also good, many competitions are held in the college. Many colleges and interactive students participate in the tech fests. The management of the college festivals are also good.

We do have good placement opportunities now. All final year students are given good placement trainings which makes them confident in attending the interview. So people are getting trained both theoretically and practically. So its a good place to learn.

Collegeday, Fine arts day, Sports day, Graduation day, Onam festivals etc. We do have many and all are celebrated in a grant manner .
