As I'm still in second year,I can't say much about the interview pattern. However I have seen my seniors preparing for their interviews. Most of companies like TCS,LNT,Wipro, HP,Numura & few other visit our campus. The Average package is 3.5lakh and the maxium package is of 8 lakhs. Almost every student that fit in the criteria,got placed and are happy with their college and company.

Almost all the events of other colleges are celebrated in our college too. Every year,Each branch oragnizes its Fest from January to Start of March. Then we have sports day, Fusion (Grand event of our college). Most of the big stars like the entire team of "Hey Bro" visited last year. I would rate the festivals as 8/10.

Campus life is very good. Being in top 5 NITs, One cannot get any better and lively life in any other colleges. Gender ratio is quite normal like 30:40 girls vs boys. Students from all over the india came here, So one can find student from any of the state of india. labs are very well maintained, and some more focus is given on research. Sports facilities are also good. Gym is also a great part for some youngsters to shape their muscles. ZINE a robotics group of MNIT, it conduct test within the campus to be a part of its team.

Fee structure is like any other NITs. Expenses other than hostel, Mess and institute fee may vary from 2000-3000 per month. Mess charges are 15000 per sem, Hostel charges are 8000 per sem ( hostel are very good to live in, also have LAN port which gives thrilling download speed of 8-10 MBPS throughout the day) Mess is some what the issue which the students might faced, coz the food is not that tastey at all.

He summer internship was a great learning opportunity. I was put into a totally new area and learnt a lot over the two months. The interns were treated at par with the first year consultants and our opinion was valued. We had multiple opportunities to interact and connect with fellow practitioners. This helped us in getting good clarity about the organization and the type of work and projects it deals in.

College arranges Language Fest, Tech Fest, Tech Storm etc. And Puja like Visa karma, Saraswati Puja. etc TO say that top Indian colleges are known for academics would be stating the obvious. The little known fact is that some of these colleges are hugely popular for their big fat cultural fests as well. A refreshing break, they act as a whetstone to sharpen studentsﾒ soft skills.

My college has a lot of Placement opportunities specially in IT sectors. On some courses, work placements are compulsory in order to get your degree, while on others you can opt to do a placement as one of your modules. The important thing about work placements is that they provide an opportunity for you to get to grips with working - meeting deadlines and working in a team.

Gender Ration Boys:Girls-75:25, Students/Dorm Parties are very rare. Workshops are available .Cultural society is also very good.Religion is no matter.sexual orientation: Nothing,Politics :-20 %, Economic Status- Medium,Race-50%, Tolerance -50%, Quality is over all good.

My college never invite any companies for placement at that time. Its our bad luck whenever we are in final no any company came for the same. My collage was not good for that ,they never tried for any placement. No any placement session was held in our organization .

My course is Electrical and Electronics Engineering.The curriculum is 1st year all the basic learned in 10+2 it consistsof Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English.In addition to these we have other two subjects. Ther are C language and data structures, Engineering Draawing. 2nd -4th year we have ElectricalMachines, Power Systems, Drives, ControlSystems, Instrumentation.

Good campus life The Collegeﾒs infrastructure is distinctive by its modern architecture with the building illustrating a unique picture of its utility. The building has been designed to provide comprehensive services to the staff and students. The classrooms architecturally designed with optimal room for natural light and air.

I took MAH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) entrance test in 2013 for MCA which is conducted by DTE (Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra) this test is held in April of every year.I got 88 percentile i.e 96 marks out of 200 marks. I had been on the look out for a good college where I could receive quality education I visited to many college and Pad. Dr. D.Y.Patil Institute of MCA was one of those.Visiting this college I saw its campus is just amazing there was nothing but greenery all around, Campus is well groomed with beautiful plants and running showers this lured me to take admission in this college.The 2nd good thing about this college is its locality, The college is located only 1 KM away from Akurdi railway station which facilitates ample number of local trains to come to college from anywhere in the Pune city and to return to your place.College didn't take any test or interview to grant my admission.

Life in this college is full of festivals it begins with induction program, and followed by various event like Guardian Meet HR Meet, Freshers Party, Alumnus Meet, Kalavruti, Techno-Sports and week of annual festival which includes Signature day, Chocolate day, Theme day, Cultural day. Research seminars, Conferences and various guest lectures keep on happening very frequently. Out of these Kalavruti is my favorite event where students show their talent in various competitions like Ad-mad show, Painting competition, Drawing competition, Best out of waste competition, Technical quiz competition, Essay writing competition etc. one winner and two runner up are chosen from each competition.

In our college mainly 07 events have been organized every year.First one is annual function in which many cultural program organized with celebrity night on the same day.Second is annual sports program which was celebrated on sports day in which many games are played such as Cricket,Carrom,TT etc.Third one is Independence day celebration which have many cultural events. Fourth one is Republic day celebration.Fifth is krishna janmashtmi celebration and last one is teachers day.

Campus life is excellent. Gender ratio is also good. There are equal number of boys and girls in the college.Labs are fully updated with new instruments.The extra curricular activities are also good in the college. Sports function organized in college at sports day.in sports festival there are many sports organized such as cricket,carrom,chess etc. Students thought towards sex,religion,ethinicity is good all are lived together with happiness and unity.

Fee stracture is BCA annual fee : 15000 ofr a year i dont know any subjects fees i am in the BCA so i mentioned the fee of BCA subject only i applied for a scholarship for 1 st year but i still not received any scholarship now i am in the final year but the didn't give any scholarship for 1st year & 2nd year, i belong OBC cast i am not lived in hostals & PG. but i heard there is the very good facilities in this collage for hostels & pg.

In our collage thers is a big library and there is good teachers in the library and there is available all type of book for any subjects like BCA, B.Com. B.Sc. etc. thers is well behaved teachers in this collage thers is a big computer lab for BCA students for practicals there is something 3- to 35 computer in this lab.our collage arginized many kind of competitions like dance, art, rangoli etc.

Only one company visited campus for intership, Dunnhumby. They paid 40k per month for the 2 month internship and also offer PPO if you are good enough as per their criteria. They usually take 2/3 interns. There was also a paid internship programme offered by MOSPI(Ministry of statistical programme implementation) which undertook 5/6 interns. Monthly stipend was 3-4K. Other than that people usually do off campus internship during the summer vacation.

We celebrated freshers welcome and farewell in a grand way. We also used to celebrate Saraswati Puja. The Alumni Meet called Rendezvous used to be organised in a banquet. It was a formal event and used to be grand too. Department also participated in an inter-college&inter-department competition called Antardhanvi. It was a huge 2-3 day event.

Well at the end of the day , you will be placed :P Even after screwing many exams , you will find a job very easily, may be only because you are an IITian well In india they offered from 6 lakhs to 41 lakhs namely worldquant and Goldmann sachhs , Microsoft , google Facebook all big names comes to campusAnd outside india oracle(1.3 crores) Fb (around a crore) , google (87 lakhs) microsoft (around 91) and many more comes.

Gender ratio is too bad. Its hard to have girls as a friend in the campus. But if you have she will surely be too good for you. Well Regarding campus life its too good . You can easily find your comfort zone and will groom yourself in that very easily. We basically have 3 General championships 1) Social and cultural 2) Sports 3) Technology And you will be participating on the behalf of your Hall .

The college did not organize a fresshers party for the students till now, it has been nearly one and a half months after the new session has started moreover i personally found the college management quite nice all the teaching and non teaching staffs are.

The college infra is quite nice, the crowd is simply awsome and there is almost equality in gender ratio.There are many renowned societies the sports committe is also nice.

We have a very low fee structure as our college is a government college working under MHRD, GOVT OF INDIA hostel facility along with food charges are nominal and affordable we have a very low fee structure as our college is a government college working under MHRD, GOVT OF INDIA.

We have a set of highly qualified faculty team dedicated to the prosperity of the students practical oriented course structure is followed to enhance the skills of students visiting faculties and guest lecturers add to the efficiency.

One Festival Which is technical called Illuminati is conducted for two days which has many events and the fest is organized very well by the students and college. The third of technical fest is followed by cultural fest which has many cultural events.Though the participation from college is good the is very less participation from students out side the college.

There are only a few off campus placement drives conducted in which many companies participate through a single drive. All these are IT companies except 2 or 3. There may be less than 20 members selected from the college. There is only two on campus drives (accenture,IBM) conducted but none have been selected.

There is no job opportunities if you do BDS from any college so i won't suggest any one to pursue this course. Total waste of time and money. Even the college you will be passout wouldn't even buy a courage to employ you. They have not offered any job options from there side. Not a single company visited our college for any campus drive. Whole 5 years we were not bothered about the job as we thought we could get a job in our college also but after becoming passout when i applied in my own college then it was not having any vacancy.

Campus was good. Facilities were good. Ambience was good as well. Gym sports club everything was available for us. Girls no was higher among students. Tolerance regarding race and religion was good. It was not the matter of concern for anyone. Few workshops were arranged year by year at times for improving our skills and few for paper presentations. I have learned few thing as well. We attended few national conferences also in order to learn new things and for these activities college given us aa platform.

According to the rules and regulations, it is mandatory for every resident student to join any of one the messes. Let me give an idea how the mess system works.The first year students are accommodated in A hostel and they are mandated to join the A mess, thanks to strict anti ragging regulations. Students from all other years can join any of the messes. Messes are run in each hostel. B & C hostel messes are run by college directly and other messes are given on tender. Daily expense used to be anywhere between 35 and 60.Now moving to the real question. Several of my friends and I did not join mess from almost the second half of second year. And nobody ever cared to ask us why we were not joining any mess. It was the time when the OBC reservation came into effect. And as a result, messes that used to have 200 odd members were now starting to accommodate 350+.And we enjoyed the food from the famous chechis (a small local hotel located outside the campus) for over two years.

Almost 60 to 70 students are placed among 400 students and the companies which were came to campus for selection are not good . Most of the companies are start up companies. They were came to college because they got money for doing this thing. And in campus mostly students are declared selected but when we go to the company they told us that we are not qualified for the post and offered us paid training.

In present day college is working on this matters also. The management now a days organised good number of cultural events . The best event we celebrated in college is the first alumni meet which was organised for the first batch of college. In this event the music band which is booked for this night made the event more memorable.

Again - placements mostly done for Commerce courses. Decent packages. Arts students have to mostly look for freelance jobs themselves or post graduate courses with little help from the college. But if you're good - you can find some real helpful advice from your seniors and teachers.

The gender ratio is pretty stable. Campus life is pretty good due to some excellent company amongst college societies and such. Infrastructure and administration is a major issue though - DU is very non-cooperative with its students when it comes to helping them around campus.
