Our college does not provide internship, but innovatively starts e-cell it means enterpenuer ship ,collectives ideas forms a project the idea you want to implement first of all discuss with lecturers and they support your idea and pass it to e-cell they raised funds and help us idea to implementation .
Placement cell brings placements to college but they are not up to mark fake companies are more ,geniune companies very less ,and package also very less 1.2Lac per annum ,i give 50 percent marks for our placements, provides job opporunity but companies are not good ,one word worst .
We have a technical fest in odd semesters which is a very big event as colleges from all over india participate. Many technical clubs form college organize techfests too and their events get international participation for many online events.Cultural fest is organized in even semester called Revels and in contains many events related to Creativity writing, Dancing, Singing, Modelling, Painting, Face Painting, Photography Events and various sports events as well.
Being from Computer Science branch, a lot of companies came for internship and placements like Deloitte, Microsoft, Snapdeal etc. The stipend various but is almost close to 15-20k per month for internships. The placement office is very efficient and so if you work hard and are passionate about any company, they will make sure you are able to sit for those companies.
College infrasture is good and lots things to improve.
There will be times when sports and other activites.
Placements are null and even if some industries came they offer very miser. But the job opportunities as a mechanical engineer are many once you step into the outer world, but don't expect any thing from the college as you wont find any. Also many companies are there near by the college if you are looking for internships.
As I told earlier, government college do not always work, they have to be made to work and for that you need people who can take up the responsibility and work hard for the sake of students, during our term none of the industries visited. But off late some of the companies have shown interest in the students.
The placement & job opportunities were good and increasing year by year many companies were coming to recruit the talented students & theplacement & training department were doing well to bring the bestcompanies to the college it is very imp to the students to attend for the trainning classes which are condected by the placement & training departmentthe college authority is also taking good care about the students joband their future.
EAMCET i got 90000 rank, because this college has good name & ithas good infrastructure inside classes and labs with AC the facuilty were good and friendly there is no ragging inside thecollege & the bus facility is also available to the far places with reasonable fair the cafeteria food is good and healthy in low cost the sports activityare done once in a year which makes the seniors & juniors close toeach other.
The college staff and senior students are help-full and i did not interact with any senior regarding studies but have chatted with them so many aspectsi saw so many classmates interacting with seniors especially in projecti have good interaction with in sports and extra-curricular activities'our college have separate departments for ECE, EEE, CSE and any branch it may we have separate cell.
In extracurricular activities our college shows much interest in think when i studied the boys are more than girls in class and in college also we do not have leaders or student groups in our college and it is ragging free campus and there are no politics in our college because the college staff is very care about not to quarrel between people among their race and religion.
The department organizes series of conclaves and guest lectures on a regular basis. Stalwarts visit our campus regularly for interactions. We have two main events apart from this, Building India Inc our annual business meet and Parivartan, our annual cultural fest. The department buzzes with activity almost all year round. Apart from this, being in the IIT campus allows us to participate in all the fests that are organised at institute level, Speranza, Literati, Rendezvouz etc.
The curriculum has been recently revised and now has clear focus on two sets of skills: People Skills and Analytical Skills. It is very dynamic and cutting edge, it provides a great choice of open electives for students. The faculty here is par excellence, we have constantly been ranked highly in world rankings for research outputs, in which the faculty has a major role to play.
MTLC kit project provided by the team Wipro best projects by the final year b.tech students in lab view a bangalore based company training for students in second and third year students and providing them an opportunity to do projects using that software tool.
It is wonder full experience we have a lot of extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions debates,e locutions in equal ratio for boys and girls their will be inter college sports and inter department sports and we have international standards cricket ground.
The gender ratio is almost 50/50. The campus life is also very good and every student wants this kind of campus life. The sports programs are organized really well. There are various competition in the college. But in all this sc and st are kept at very high that is the reason it also claims politics inside the college. As per my opinion every one in the college is corrupted.
The course curriculum and faculty is overall good. But not the best as expected. They do not respect the students. They think that due to them the college is running. This is the bad part of this college. There is a lot of inside materials between students and the faculty beacuse of debates. There is also a corruption between the college and students for admission

With more than 2000 members joining the group every year, the alumni network with about 15000 members currently is growing stronger year on year. The Alumni Committees of the constituent institutes of the University organize regular annual alumni meets providing providing a platform for meaningful interactions, thoughtful endeavours and relationship building. The Alumni are updated regularly through e-Newsletters. The Alumni contribute immensely to the development of the student community through regular interactions through lecture series, mock interviews, soft skill interventions and provide a very useful Industry interface. This serves as a forum for exchange and sharing practical functional expertise between business leaders and the future managers.
AIEEE-2006 For most of my 11th std., I attended all my classes, labs, and the (AIEEE) coaching classes, and did some studies, but not a lot. I started seriously studying for AIEEE around the end of 11th std. From then on, for most of 12th std, I did only AIEEE studies, and did not bother with college studies (except attending all lectures and labs and coaching classes). About 2-3 months before the 12th board exams, I stopped AIEEE studies entirely, switched to studying only for the board exams. After the board exams, I had about 1 month of studying for the AIEEE.
My college is best in west bengal especilly for core branch .most of students got job in it sectors nd other fields .Our teachers are well educated nd most of them are M.tech from best government college. My college infrastructure is also best nd got 7/10
Placement and job opportunities are good .Most of students get jobs in it sectors .Core branch students get job in government companies and also in it sectors most of it companies come like ibm, tcs, infosis.
JRU ians enjoy a good campus atmosphere with equity in the gender ratio almost. The students constitute a rich diversity. At the time being the college has students from abroad too such as Africa and Bangladesh. There is a little discrimination in the campus based on race and economic status of the students. Although college tries to equate the gap but some students are neglected based on the race and economic status.
My college provided us with internships many good companies came but the internship was without any stipend Mahindra,SAIL,Usha Martin,Big Bazar etc are some companies where my classmates were interns. The internship program is a part of MBA course and must be 4 weeks minimum. This internship has to be completed within summer holidays and project has to be reported documenting all the learnings and experiences.

Yes the college provides Rs 1, 00, 000 scholarships to students from BC, students from EBC, students from SC, students from ST in the name of Siddhartha Sahaaya Scholarship in addition to government scholarships. There will be some type of seminars conducted every month and the winners in that are awarded some financial help from the college . The college provides loans with the collobration of State Bank of India.
Our college is autonomous college and so the college itself prepare the course curriculum that is required. As a result our college includede each and every topic that is useful to the students.Coming to Faculty they are the best in the job and very cooperative. We have around 6 Phds and 10 Mtechs and 15 Btechs as faculty for our department. And there are nearly 300 faculty members in our college.
Earlier they used to take admission on basis of IIT JEE rank and also through IMU-CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test). I took up IMU CET exam and got good rank so i choose to be in BP Marine Academy. For B.sc nautical science degree, we get some expemtions in Promotions and also there are lots of scope for degree holders. Along with this criteria there's also a Interview conducted by Director of the Academy, he personally supervises the whole admission process. Presently BP Marine conducts their own entrance test and Interview.
BP Marine Provides campus placement for few students, however there are a lots of opportunities off campus too. Companies visiting campus includes Fleet Ship Management, Accord Ship Management and a couple of other companies too. One year job training is compulsory in which salary ranges from 20,000 to 35,000 per month and after completing training packages are a minimum of 12lakhs per annum In-Hand Salary.
Nearly 10 students were place and companies like tech mahindra ,tcs, zenpact and prolifics came to campus and they will announce another so many companies are coming to our college. But if possible only companies will come and not sure about the companies will come are not.
The college will not provide any internship and the college will not conduct industrial tours and all. My overall experience about this college is for an average student it is better .

In our college gender ratio may be equal college provide extra curriculam activities like NCC, NSS, NASSCOM, MATLAB, JKC, SPORTS etc. And also cultural programes like classical dance, songs, cumtative exams. NCC means national cadet corps estabilished at 1985.NSS means national social services this activity takes cleaness of our college.
Batchelor of science was i taken in my under graduation course period is 3 years our college provide good faculty members for all departments semisters are 8 our college have ug and pg, ug courses are B.Sc, B.com, B.A. pg courses are M.Sc (maths, physics, electronics, computer science), M.A.
West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam. My rank was around 7000. I chose this college because at that time the placement records were skyhigh and nearly incomparable to other private colleges, specially for core branches. I heard that the infrastructure is really satisfactory. And Also its the only engineering college in Asansol .
I am from mechanical, and we undergone training in Indian railways ,and internship in a medium enterprise nearby. The stipend was not satisfactory though. Many renowned companies came from core sectors along with it sectors. Like tcs, tractor India, linde, voith, excel dynamics etc and so on.
Generally companies like Intel,Robert Bosch come for internship in second year and they give a quite good stipend around Rs 15,000 but you will have to be better in various concepts about the topics taught to you and you should be knowing programming languages like c, c++ etc. You should be good at coding as well. But before all that first you should be eligible to participate in the event which will decide you will be getting the chance of internship or not. Companies like Intel have the criteria that you should have aggregate of 80% and above in class 10th,12th as well as engineering till that semester. So you should study hard to get chances of internship in various good companies.
Campus life is quite nice. You get to learn many things. The boys are more in number. There are various fields of which you can be a part of Interested students are taught robotics after class hours and you can do various projects on that. If you are good in some sport like cricket,table-tennis etc. You will get a chance of representing your college in VTU tournaments. I myself is the college team captain in table-tennis. There is also a debate society called "DEBSOC" in our college for students who like to speak.
Every event celebrate there which is celebrating in our country like annual function. They do every event like all sports cricket, Hockey, football, vollyball, basketball, boxing. And every other sports and events are celebrated there they do dancing shows there.
Very good opportunities there in our collage they provide every students good jobs with behalf of there quality and qualification.

I dont know about other branches but for EEE i would like to say that there is no any faculty . They have better teaching skills, they all are making fool to student and threat them for internal marks, even they never hesitate to ruin you life. If dont follow them not a good place to learn EEE technical skills but they teach you how to pass in your exams for their publicity benefit.
I didnt join hostel because they demand more money around 1 lakhs per annum. Which i could not afford at that time but hear of my friends about food. That they serve is eatable. But the best option is to get hostels or PG from outside, these are way way cheaper than the college hostel.
