Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee structure at my college is ?3.42 lakh per year. This amount typically includes tuition fees, library and laboratory charges, development fees, and access to various academic facilities and campus resources. The fee is structured to reflect the high-quality education, experienced faculty, and well-maintained infrastructure the college offers. For most programs, the fee is payable at the beginning of each academic year. Students may have the option to pay in two installments (semester-wise) depending on college policy. Additional expenses such as examination fees, hostel accommodation (if availed), mess charges, and other activity fees may be charged separately and vary depending on the student’s preferences.

Faculty

Faculty are well trained and hardworking, provide proper knowledge and experience to students. Each student is given full support from their teachers and is free to approach the anytime. There are three terminal exams throughout the year before the final professional exams

My expereince at SPPGIDMS has both been enriching and memorable. The faculty members are highly supportive and dedicated, always encouraging us to think critically and grow beyond our textbooks. The curriculum is well structured ,and the college provides ample oppurtunities through seminars ,and patient exposure. The campus is equally engaging ,with a variety of sports activites along with a good cricket campus .The students show a great interest in sports and participate with enthusiaism.

Faculty

The faculties are very cooperative and highly engaged in providing the best knowledge to the students .Also ,they discuss the problems with tha students along with their doubts There are 3 internal exams during the course of one year and one professional examination. The professionals are tough ,though

Campus Life

Our college has 2 colleges in one campus and both of them are amazing as even the arts & science college has good strength and has their two blocks while 2 blocks are for engineering college, one is admin block and 3 boys hostels. So these many are the buildings in our campus but besides that there's a library, 5 seminar halls and outdoor sports ground and indoor sports facilities as well.

Faculty

At our college IT students total strength is 130 and around 15-16 faculties is what who have taught us. Beyond that some guest faculties and contracted faculties too have been a part of our teaching. So overall we have taken classes under 25+ faculties and this year we might interact with some new faculties too.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio at our college is fairly balanced, allowing for personalised attention for students in most departments. most professors are approachable, supportive and open to discussion both inside and outside the classroom; they are greatly willing to help students with academic doubts, guidance, and even provide informal mentorship when needed. Among my department faculty, i like Dr Rekha Gupta who teaches microbiology, her classes are engaging, well-structured and very knowledgeable. similarly dr. anita kapila would probably be one of the best teachers in our college itself while most of them are pretty nice there is one prof.k who's teaching style doesn't resonate well for examples she like inactive teaching methods, talking down to students and sitting back and letting students do most of the work. there is only one end sem exam which is fairly average to above average, according to me. The difficulty level also depends on your course. Most of the students pass the exams maybe 7-8% fail. The course curriculum is very fair and relevant to current industry demands

Course Curriculum Overview

one of the main reason i chose this subject was the interdisciplinary nature of the curriculum, which offers a balance of core subjects. the curriculum does a reasonably good job in preparing students for real world applications. Teaching methods can also be improved by integrating active lessons, multimedia tools and student led discussions, rather than simply realying on textbooks and monologue style reading. exams are conducted once a semester towards its end with addtional internal exams like tests, quizes, presentations sprinked within. the frequency is pretty managable but during crunch times it becomes a litlle difficult to manage all these subjects by themselves.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am from general category with no scholarship/ aid. The tuition fee per year is roughly 14k paid annually and hostel fee is around 27-28k per semester paid twice an year. Every semester we have to pay an examination fee which is around 1200 (depends upon your course selection but is roughly around this figure). The fees does not largely increase (hostel fees did increase in lieu of some upgrades but we complained against it and got a reduction in the following sem). So annually we pay approximately 70k for hostel+college tuition. We get regular info and updates about scholarships, there are quite a few of them available for economically weaker sections, only girl child, etc.

Campus Life

Our annual fest is called tempest, and it takes place in April. Literally the most fun event of the year. Each department and society also has its own fest separately, taking place in the even semesters. Odd semesters have freshers, Raas (our garba night) and some society fests (animal welfare soc's Aavyali). We really do have the best library. The classrooms are better in the science block than the main block. Sports are pretty good and they do organise events occassionally for non sports dept students too. A lot of societies are there for you to choose from- dance, dramatics, debating, singing, art, fasion...the list is endless.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. I've met a lot of people through societies and clubs. I'm currently part of Entrepreneurship Cell and Enactus. We have so many societies for everything, art, dance, music, drama, debating, finance, Entrepreneurship etc. We have an annual fest called Thunderstruck also. We also celebrate most festivals in college, we also have a diwali mela, in which we have stalls and events. We have three building- arts, science and new block. We have a newly renovated auditorium as well which is really good. We have a really big ground and gym area as well. Our library is very well stocked with all the books we need. We have a nescafe and a canteen too. In some of our classes we have projectors as well. All classes have ACs. We also have a seminar hall and reading room.

Faculty

Our faculty is really good with passouts from Delhi School of Economics, Du, Jnu etc. They have really good experience and are good at teaching as well. We usually have blackboard teaching but sometimes we have classes for ppt presentations as well. Teachers are very approachable for doubt clearing and career guidance as well. We tutorials as well, in which we solve questions and take doubts during class. We have around 60 students in class and 1 teacher. We have exams for every semester and also internal assessment which goes on tbrought the semester. The curriculum is not easy but most people pass

Labs have smart boards for better learning. Sports like cricket and volleyball are available. There are clubs for coding and cultural activities. Student groups help with events and info sharing, making campus lively.

Teachers at GVAIET are very supportive and always ready to help. The course curriculum is updated and relevant to industry needs. Exams are fair and well-structured. B.Com without a specialization will mean nothing today as even after that it is difficult to find a corporate job. Accounting though will always stay in picture and that's the reason I have chosen this because I don't want to miss out on it at any cost. I have already enrolled for some online courses alongside which were suggested by our college itself.

Campus Life

There are three canteens at our campus and all of them are great and provide food at a very real price. Our sports complex and sports grounds are good it's just that the main ground doesn't have any grass and we play football on mud. Our hostels are in the campus so after college gets over and we can change and come to sports ground.

Campus Life

Our campus is good enough to accomodate 2500 students including two college as we have two colleges under same campus. Blocks are different but common facilities are shared be it Library, canteens, sports ground or the perpetual seminar halls as we have them in plenty at our campus and our events like the Tech fest Henosis also helds there.

Fees and Financial Aid

DR. NGPIT operates at such a huge strength as we are a top college to pursue engineering and especially if you want to pursue AI&DS then there's no college which comes close to ours and that too at a fees of just 60k per semester. Hostels are little expensive though as 1.05 lakhs a year and it includes food charges as well.
