Being a Private College, placement are offered but the package is not up to the mark. The fees is preety high but the placements are not. Also placement is not 100% especially for School of Design. Hence most of the students don't go for on campus placements.
The faculties are highly qualified, especially in School of Design. Quite few of them are PHDs and most of them are IITs passouts. The knowledge and teaching skills of the faculty members are quite impressive. Also they are helpful and easily approachable.

The campus life at UCMS is of elite level. We have annual fest either in summer or in winter. The winter one is called avalanche and is typically held in October and summer one is called ripple(may). The library here is one of the best all over India for a medical College. The library has its own app too which provides access to thousands of books and journals. There are 4 lecture theatres with state of the art tech. The sports here are excellent. There is a basketball court, football field etc. indoor sports are also available. There is society for every talent in UCMS. They bring the peak in your talent.
The first year fees is 30k and then fio the subsequent years the fees is 25k. Honestly this is very low when you are considering the course like mbbs. The fees is low as it is a government setup. The college provides scholarship from various companies like Bajaj, reliance etc. The college helps the students which need financial aid. Fees hike doesn't happen here
There is an annual function held in the month of April and food fare which is held in the month of September. There are relevant and sufficient books available in the library. There is a projector and a screen in every classroom for better viaual teaching.Every year a sports festival is held with different games like cricket, football, kabaddi etc. Many students participate in social activities and form a group with a relevant message.
The curriculum is moreover a practical knowledge tried to be given from a particular book.Although not everything in the curriculum is applied in the real life or practical life but much of the curriculum is relevant. The teaching method must include some real examples relevant to the subject for more clarity other than the textbook knowledge.
Anugoonj is the annual fest of RIT Roorkee. there are literally many events programmes going on every day, one or the others many opportunities for introvert to open up. Literally whether it be sport's like football basketball they have a whole team made which competes with other colleges. Classes have screens where the explain the pdf to us. And very spacious and well air ventilated classes u won't feel suffocation And almost all books are available in the library u just need 10 RS , passport size photo and fee receipt to make library pass and then u can have access to unlimited book
Actually my family told me to pursue bcom degree, but I must say everyone is very helpful and along with topics related to subjects some teachers also teaches us about the real world, their real life experience or mistakes they made so we don't repeat that. About exams all the exams are properly organised along with the difficulty and the timetable are made
Our annual fest - Esperanza is held in the months of August and September. It's a combination of sports, literary and cultural events. Our central library consists of a wide variety of books which range from vast medical journals to medical atlases as well as rich novels that expand the Matrix out of academic boundaries. Technological provision within classrooms consists of two widescreen projectors and a smart board with LEDs for backbenchers too. Our college has a badminton court and a volleyball court the rest of the sports arenas are in the process of development. The student organization is in the process of making as of now.
I chose this course because I always wanted to become a doctor. I had an inner urge to help people not by just my prayers but my doing too. The curriculum mostly focuses on the practical knowledge I gain with the help of clinical Postings I have every day in various departments in the hospital itself. Areas of improvement can be a more comprehensive use of technology and the distribution of topics amongst students so that they are active throughout. The frequency of exams should be twice in a year and the difficulty level should be based on the clinical approach of the student.
The tution fee is 11 lakh which is less than many other institutions which ask for very high fees for the same course. Scholarships are also there from our government for those who need them and we can easily get loans for mbbs. The campus in developing and the grounds are really nice
This is the best course to do because we study and work hard to save lives. Being a doctor is great in itself as it gives you motivation for saving people's life. We learn to dissect the cadaver which gives a great experience of the human body.
Campus Life is honestly pretty boring, the fests and all are just ehh too boring and feels like forced. The environment tho is pretty nice as the college is surrounded by hills so it's pretty much aesthetic and cool. Sadly nobody cares about clubs here which is very irritating tbh. Infrastructure is pretty nice, classes have ac's,labs are nice.
I'm in 1st year so I can't say much about it but as I have heard from seniors it's pretty decent. The highest package was 45lpa and the avg package is around 6lpa which is nice for a start. In the recent placement festival the highest package was of around 15lpa from btech cse student.
In our department i.e department of history we have four professors. They all were descent and cool minded. They try to clear our each and every doubt that we have . But there is a problem and that is the teachers are so fast in explaining the chapters and because of this we are not able to get the point.
Our course is a 3 year course. We have total 6 semesters. Each year we have to give two final exams of 100 marks. We also have sessional exams in each semester and it carries 20 marks. We get 3 to complete the 100 marks exam and 45 minutes in the sessional examination.
I think I fit best in this course as I m good in mathematics and always scored good marks in it. Completing my graduation in mathematics will enhance me in this subject more deeply and properly so I can choose my future in it only
Fees structure for mathematics department hons graduation is about 28000 per annum and providing all the facilities. mathematics department also provide us with placement cell and better teachers to enhance our skills
I am enrolled in biotechnology, so the placements are quite good, since most students choose to pursue higher education. There are classes and labs in the department itself from fourth semester. In labs, students are given a chance to learn more about their courses, and tests are held twice a semester, which is quite good.
nit jalandhar boasts an impressive faculity known for their dedication and accessibility . the student to faculity ratio is great there are many teachers for same subject and they interact with students quite often . they aslo take doubts from students in classes and there are tutorial classes for doubt solving
This college come under the Delhi University College there are no tuition free entry policy in this college the complete cost of your education in one year is 13890 including tuition fees service is etc and you have to pay examination fees by own there are ews scholarship.
My overall experience is very bad because this is the evening college and less student come the range of books are very high even borrow the books from the library and return it in 7 days there are no sports and extra curricular activities in this college
The time i took admission in the college, the new education policy was introduce so i am doing 4 year UG programme. I am pursuiting Bsc in CS. This course contains theory and practical equally. Its just lack in using modern world application to run and debug code or program. Two exams in a Semester, one mid term and end term.
There are enough books as should be there considering it is a tier 2 college in guwahati. We can find every which would helpful for your course. Maximum of the classroom have projectors, whiteboard. College supports many sports but lacks infrastructure.
The course curriculum is well mapped as well as planned with good pace, we have libral learning course, foreign language, etc. included in btech, it helped me prepare for outside world. We have two cae, 4 tae before end sem exams
The campus life is satisfactory as the campus is too small, but the facilities, technological provisions and infrastructure is not bad, sports are limited to fests and mostly indoors, there isn't a "club culture" to be honest
I choose this course because the course is professional but once i enrolled in course i dont the course was fully prepared for job but the course will teach you to become a professional the exam was not much hard every 6 months the university exam was coducted
The faculties were so friendly with students all faculties are well educated and well mannered all faculties make students always proud and always help in projects and exam time students are very happy with teachers
Everything was good but if I talk about placement cell its not so good they should see about it but there are many companies offers as Tata, Infosys, etc. but if I talk about civil department then I can't say anything about placement as because it will be the first batch of civil from BVEC
As our College Barak Valley Engineering College had also NSS unit and many internship also happens there and we also attended one of the internship 7 day NSS camp and after the end of 2nd all students must have to attend another internship namt social internship.
The falulty student ratio is 1:70, like one faculty is enough for 70 students inn class , its quite good that faculty can focus. each student. Faculty are well qualified even some are graduated from IIT also. Here they provide proctor-proctee scheme where every student have a proctor that as personal mentor or in campus guardian, which helps us to clear any of our doubts regarding academics and other college things. Aside from classes we can meet faculties in their cabin in free hours forany doubt or academic purposes.every faculty is very skilled in their respectice domains and have keen knowledge of things which makes them to teach the subject more easily and unique way , so that it makes the subject easy to learn in no time.
