University provide placements for every branch. Various companies come for the mass recruitments as well as individuals also. But i totally depends upon you how much you work yourself to be placed. For ECE branch there is an average of 8-10 LPA and for cse it is nearly 7-9 LPA
As i earlier mentioned there is no scholarship provided by them in any branch. Fees of my branch is 100000 per semester. This is for my whole engineering years and every year when the new students come they increase their fees per semester of every branch
The college offers a wide range of courses, such as data science and artificial intelligence. What sets Sreyas apart is its emphasis on interdisciplinary learning, allowing students to explore connections between different fields and develop a well-rounded understanding of complex issues.
There are about 21 clubs in college but most of them are not active. There is one fest every year Sriyam,it is a three day fest which is composed of sports meet , traditional day, Sriyam festa.Only NSS and IEEE are the most active clubs.
One of my family friend also studied from this college same course and got a nice package from the campus so it inspired me to join this course. There are several events and presentations to prepare us for the real world. The administration process online is quiet difficult so improve that i would say.
Student are eligible for placement from 4th sem onwards. Companies like TCS , Paypal, Vipro etc are interested in this process. This years highest package is 69.9 lakhs and privious year was 80 lakhs and average package is around 6 to 5 lakhs. Around 75% student are provided with on campus package.
The campus area of the college is about 40 45 acres and has all the facilities needed inside campus including a co-operative shop, canteens, gym, availability of doctors, and other facilities. The campus is very environmentally friendly. And has various clubs regarding all activities.
Placements are somewhat average, 3-4 lakhs per annum is the average package offered irrespective of branch. Rather than placement colleges offer various opportunities for start-ups and help you to get your idea next level, the entrepreneurship cell of college does the work.
There are in total 14 clubs in the college!! you name and you have it. you can even be the president or vice president of the club, it provides you with certificates and those certificates are really important. If you get to collect 8 certificates in the end of the course your character certificate will be outstanding. there is involvement of students in any activity from college event to inter college events, which is great and encourages other students to join in. The library is huge, and it is one of the best colleges in Kolkata. There is sports club you can take part if you're into sports and all.
From other government colleges Loreto's fee structure is really different as it is Semi-private. So obviously the fees rate differ a lot from other, for Semester 1 i had to pay maximum 19,000 which is a lot. There many opportunities of scholarship for students. After sem 1 fees from sem 2 you don't need to pay for the admission money so it reduces a lot of money right there. There are internship program which are compulsory, paid or not.
I will rate my course 9 I have influenced through my friends and my senior who already studied. And I to have interest towards the mechanical core so I chosen this course. The curriculum in this campus was very good the providers the best knowledge and the teaching methods were very efficient and friendly the teachers the real time projects we walk on the internships which is forwarded by college and other companies. Very easy Stephen. The timings which are conducted in my college was 3 months a semester. If anyone get failed in semester they will be having extra classes and they will be taking care of by the college they have extra classes to. The teaching methods are very efficient and understanding.
I have good bonding with a campus I have good experience every year in a college annual day will be celebrated during the month of April which is celebrated grandly during this event where is say some kind of scholarships 10000 . We have the best sports arena which motivate students to play everyday it is very pleasant. Everyday we used to play in the ground and we have competitions with other universities to and competitions will be held between prize money will be awarded for the winner. The student bodies who handled the social media clubs IST ACM
Our campus is of fifteen acres with a wonderful lawn with greens and we have a huge ground and canteens in our campus and we have a memorial statue of our founder Sir. Manikudi Venkataraman Jayaraman. And that's really beautiful and the fishes in the water are so good
Placement depends on your skill and the company needs . It's definitely not about how good you score it's just the skill that the company needed so if the placement is done in campus interview the skills will be more focused than marks
For the aided stream our fees are not that much, at first it might be more than 20000, and next semester, it will be less than 20000, and so on. As I didn't stay in the hall like other people my expenses are a little bit higher as i stay in pg. Scholarships are available for all the people who are eligible.
I chose political science as my major as I think it will help me in the future for the competitive exams that I face. The courses are perfect and we have the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Ca and End semester exams. The courses are very well put for the people who just came out to taste the real world.
As for tourism it was a vast field were many jobs opportunities are available and history also a fun subject with lot of knowledge. Tourism has a vast valuable information and knowledge we need to help people in travel industry . We need to have information about the map and name of states and no.s of states present and the teaching method of MCC helps alot to understand these subject alot easier and nicer and give us many more knowledge related to the subject that we have no ideas apart from the main subject other subject also nicely and easily taught but French is a little difficult for me but if I try harder I can make it easier for myself. For MCC their is 3 exms: 2 CIA exm first one written and second one is online and the third exm is our end sem exm, for 1 sem we have 5 months period and I think it's nice and adaptable
In particular one sem there will be two compulsory fest ethnic day is done in every sem and many seminar regarding any subject is also done, they also invite many famous personal to talk about their experience and field they r working. MCC also encourage their students in extracurricular activities and support them to do their job nicely without neglecting their studies. Each class have projectors and have all the required equipment and many class for all the courses and each department have one day to celebrate its own subject where students r giving to showcase their talents and we have many association also which help to give showcase their talent in every possible way and teacher also encourage students to join as much as association so we can learn and showcase our talents
Campus Life is quite good. We are having two fests in a year namely, TechnoVit - the techfest and Vibrance - the cultural fest of Vit Chennai. In TechnoVit, held on November, each technical clubs organizes their technical events like hackathon, ideathon, ideally every technical event you can think of. Usually in mid March, we have the cultural fest VIBRANCE where we are having famous cricketers like Shivam Mavi, Dinesh Kartik and singers like Sonu Nigam, Shreya Goshal, Shirley Shetia visiting our college followed by DJ nights and many more . Both of these fests are about 3-4 days. Our library is a four story building. Every genre of books including Law books can be accessed. Moreover it is also a smart library. Every Individual can access the books online through the egateway library of vit chennai using college email. Whiteboard in classrooms, great lab facilities. Regular sports events are held for football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, and swimming.Around 150-160 student clubs .
Placements starts from 7th semester . According to the 2023 VIT Chennai brochure, the total offers are 1,789, with 1,222 unique offers, 634 regular offers, and 1,033 dream offers. The fees structure depend on the course and the subject that how well the faculties are helpiing the students and how they are teaching and other factors. On the time of education the admission was 40000 and the sems frees were 56000 ther were gov fees available..
My curiculam is based on various submit that i like and that influence my decission on the basis of the interest. My course is very flexible and applies to practicle based works like the socail media management and advertising and marketing.
MCC was know for it's culturals more than academics but it's kinda dying or it's probably already dead. If you're a part of the halls/ hostels and if you're not an introvert then you'd always have something happening every month. Apart from that every department has something or the other function. We have 3 clubs and even if they aren't that famous they manage to do stuff from time to time. The library is nice. Not like NICE NICE but meh. Works ( has alot of old books maybe from charity) has a wide range of department related books I guess. My department has a mini library for our subject related books so I didn't need to go to the library. The facilities on campus are fine, they're good, the college wants to retain it's heritage and preserve it the way it was 100+ years ago so don't mind the occasional broken windows and desks. Not much of a sports person so I wouldn't know much about it but we have more than 3 playgrounds and they are BIG. they also take it very seriously.
My total Tution fees for my 1st year was 66000 and in my 2nd year it was 10k lesser (coz I am of the evening batch (self financed stream) and we gotta pay twice a year 20-30+ k per semester:')). It's higher in the 1st and 3rd year and a tiny bit lesser in the 2nd year. The on campus accommodations (halls/hostels) they are pricey (45k excluding per month mess fees) and you pay both financially and mentally for it. The college does provide on campus employment (part time jobs) called study while you work (something like that) it's pretty good. The work can range from working in the library or record Ms office to volunteering for being scribes:). It's fun. The pay isn't alot 3k Max for 3 months (depends on the job). For the scribe thingy it's 200 for 2 exams. So yea. If you need to make some cash go for it. Not alot of slots but when you get the chance go for it :).
Campus is very large in KIIT. And student strength is also very high. So one can make very good friends here. There are multiple clubs in every sector which you can join and contribute. There are sports center in every campus. Every type of sports are available here. Every year there is KIITFEST and also other Fests are happening every week.
Course curriculum is as per the National standard. But the timing of each semester is very short. Teachers are very good and friendly. Exams are divided into three parts Mid Sem, Internal Evaluation and End sem. Mid Sem is of 20 marks Internal evaluation is of 30 marks and End sem of 50 marks.
there is a technical fest named hackathon but there is no annual fest so it is quite boring. accesibiltiy of books in library:you can avail any book from library for a period of 7 days you can renew if u want for more than 7 days. facilities :all the classrooms have projectors installed and they are well ventilated, there is no uniform restrictions. sports department is there which organise many events like sangram etc in which there are many sports like tug of war, cricket, basketball, volleyball, chess, etc clubs are there like python clube, java, club, aptitude club, taalclub for dancing.
fee structure:it is around 125000 per year on an average. complete cost of my education will be aroun 5-6 lakh. scholarships are there for obc,sc,st students but not for general and also for students below poverty line there are many campus employment opportunites there is carrer development department for this only job roles offered are manager, software engineer, full stack developer etc.
Placements option are good many students get placed every year and with good packages , the placements department takes very care about that ,the placement department is also very supportive.they help u with all your issues and find you a great opportunity, they also support startups.
There's a huge fest which is held every year and it's so good .other sports activities are also very nice you have many opportunities in sports and games also there's even like tech fest and hackathons conducted which will give u nice experience
Technology would be the utmost reason that influenced me to choose this course. The growing technology ,its effect and importance in our life sparked my interest in this course.Talking about the curriculum it is well designed with some extra electives to know about our society .For eg HASS elective such as society science and technology teach how these three things are related to each other . There are total of 4 exams per year i.e. 2 exams per semester along with weekly quizzes and the level of difficulty depends on the syllabus.Teaching method is actually good by giving us proper notes etc
KIIT is known for its infrastructure and its events .Loads of events are held everyday .Annual event like official fest and MUN are held typically around February and September. We have a student activity centre KSAC which includes 28 society under it related to finance, social service ,tech, fashion etc...Our classrooms and labs are fully equipped with all the necessities required . Sports and extracurricular activities are enthusiastically supported here . There is no lack in opportunities provided here related to sports and other extracurricular activities .
Being an student from science stream, the course analytical economics attracted me because of its mathematical content.unlike from the economics ,analytical economics consist of more problematic than theory paper. It came along with upsc training. The curriculum should include more real life examples for better understanding. The foreign theories were bit difficult to understand.being a new course from KU it is difficult to find study materials and unavailability of precious question papers.
The fee for course is Rs10000 for each semester as it is only available in the self financing sector.exam fees vary from semester and it usually range around Rs500.Club activities usually happen around campus and participation in economics fests and management fest.
Initially I was excited for my course but now I am fed up of this because I want to study computer related subjects only and I do not know that in first two semester there are only basic subjects. As far as curriculum and teaching methods are concerned, they are well and good.
I feel fees is very high and placement rate is also average and scholarship is also not available for students of general category which is a clear discrimination and I totally disagree on that. Course affordability is also not good.
I have a nice experience with this collage that they won't give vacation from us in between the college and we may have the club's but noone will take care of that club because no one is interested to involve in it.bit our college infrastructure is so good that we will have smart classes in our college
Our college will take the fee of 50700 for every semester including sports and library fee per person and for the own state people they will get the scorlship of 96000 but for other students they won't get the scorlship it will took around 4.5 to complete the course in this collage
According to my point of view, tuition fee in IITs is decent i.e. not very high like some private engineering colleges and also not very low like government medical colleges. For me I need to pay around 12 lakhs for 4 years. Belonging to a family having annual income less than 2 lakhs I found very much difficult to pay 12 lakhs so I've taken student loan and this is a good thing that getting loans in IITs is very easy.
Basically I belong to Jharkhand and there I saw many huge coal mines and steel plants. So as I grew up I came to know that we are continuously dependent on non-renewable sources and so I chose Materials Engineering so that as an engineer I can create new ways for renewable sources. My course is quite good in this college and the curriculum is very much intact. Exams also happen in a regular manner.
