There are many seminars and fests in GEHU including cultural fests and grafest along with may social works such as plantation drive , cleanliness drive , etc Apart from curriculum there are many books for ones interest in library of GEHU. Yes there are many technological labs such as IOT lab, Mac lab , computer labs with latest i9 processer . Campus provide various opportunity for students who want to pursue sports as their future by organising different types of tournaments such as, arm wrestling, cricket , chess, football, volleyball, carrom, etc. NSS volunteers club is a club run by students and iam personally a member of that club .

Talking about the curriculum?It was very good and I got to know about various subjects. And The faculty are very helpful and they have a great teaching experience. The curriculum was totally based on problem solving which is required in the corporate world. Not every teacher is perfect but few of them require to change their teaching methods but most of them were experienced and good. There are two exams In a is midterm second one is end term exam In between those exams Teacher also give us internal exams

It is the same curriculum based on other nits .most of the syllabus is outdated.i think that must be changed. Many of the professors here are skilled and have more knowledge. But most of the students aren't loyal towards the exams. Every practical here is reviewed by the subject co ordinator

I choose this course because i was interested in coding and also Artificial Intelligence will be the booming sector in future.Teaching methods should be improve, there should be labs so that students can easily understand.

On an average my per semester fees is 1 lakh and other hostel charges of 75000 for 1 semester. I didn't get any scholarship due to general category. There should be reduction of fees for general candidate also.

In AKGEC the Btech Course is set up by Abdel Kalam technical University. In Computer Science branch ,The professor provide the basic information about technology that are introduced in the curriculum on the other side a student need to self taught himself about many things like Advance DSA(Data Structure and algorithm),Coding Problem,Competative coding etc for Placement Drive. In Single semester Two exams are taken from the college side and final one is taken by the university. All of the exams are of moderate level. I would only suggest that btech courses should be more placement oriented.

The tech fest and cultural fest basically are held by the student society.Our College doesn't directly participate in hosting the fest but they provide financial aid. Sports club are also present in college they generally participate in Inter Sports University competition that held at state or national level. College also provide one reading room and a library hall for student those who want to study during college our, on normal day the library timing is from 9 AM TO 6 PM and on weakends timing may vary.

two fest organised in year one is techfest named as tantrafest and another is cultural fest named as abhivyakti tech fest held at monsoon season september and cultural on winter that is january..library is small not all books are properly available classrooms are equippedd with AC. labs have proper equipment but some don't work...sports cultural is very poor no grounds available just one ground where you have to play every possible sports indoor sport is poor too just two tabletennis and some more, well equipped gym present. college is at its developing face so social groups are present but lack of guidance

tution fees is bit on higher side that is 248000 per year additionally 110000 for hostel per year...no incrrease in fees for upcoming 3 years it be lesser by 30000 than 1st year. complete cost of education will reach upto 16lacs including tution hostel and other expenses. scholarship not providedd by the institute but you can apply for scholarship programme offered by your state orr NSP(national scholarship program). for campus placement you should have gpa above 6.5 and there should be no back in any subject

There are many internships and opportunities offered to the college by many companies like tcs. There might also be many projects in college which I'm incapable of answering being a first year student but would know when the time comes.

Here if you want to conduct a tech fest, it is the most hectic process you have ever came accross because management wont support students by allocating funds for them but they ask students to find sponsors and they take 40 percent of the sponsor which the students get which is very disappointing. No one will encourage in sports as there is nothing in college. There are different clubs like yrc camp where they are doing a good job in social activities. No improvement in technology when it comes to velammal.

There are meetings , programs , sports events goes around all the year . The library provided different books even if don't buy books for the semester we can read from there . Overall the campas is good and they even thake aru e-learning class and provide us with computers if we need anything.

The cources fees aru medium not to high not to low , but it is difficulty for many students to pay semester fees every 6 months during the semester fromfill up ,but they provide versious cources which later helps in securing jobs , and even help students who can't pay their fees .

The fees structure for aided course is around 25000 and for self supporting is around 70000.There are scholarships provided in our college.Placements are good and the highest package is 54 LPA currently. There are many clubs in our college.

I have chosen CSE course. I will rate this course as 9/10. All the staffs are well versed in their field.And the teaching is good.The way of teaching is good and the doubts are solved by the faculties then and there.

Since College of engineering kottarakkara is a college under institute of human resource development which is a part of Government of Kerala it does not have any special tuition fee increasing policy. The complete cost of my education including tuition fees service fees for selfies etc approximately 3 lakh rupees. There are various State Government and Central Government scholarship available for students who are from backward classes. State Government's of Kerala provides egrantz scholarship. Students of minority communities can apply for MCM scholarship. Other scholarships includes Central sector scholarship etc.... Since I am a second year students currently I don't have any employment from the campus and have not received any stipend.

The main aspect of the curriculum that influenced by decision to choose B.tech in computer science is the relevance of the subject in this today's world. As we all know computer science has become a core element for every employer . Since my University Kerala technical University update it's curriculum every 5 years ,the curriculum is very much updated so that it is well enough for new students to get new jobs in the real world. The university should include technical knowledge in the syllabus for good employment opportunities for students. Kerala technical University conducts two series examinations and one semester examination for each semester and the difficulty level is medium.
