course is good,if u belongs to cse department u can do work on coding and placements. acedemic is average ,some teachers are good,honest but u can't depend on teachers to make ur future. u have to work by ur self.

Course curriculum basically is same as other NIT colleges. Curriculum contains subjects related to course and humanities and physical trainings too... college gives exposure to so many technical and non technical activities through various student chapters .. students also participate in many competitions in india and abroad as well.

Curriculum is pretty outdated. As for the exams mis sem exams are given 2 hrs and end sem exams are given 3 hrs. Difficulty level -IIT Paper pattern will be decided by the professors who are teaching the course

My college fees is 12000 and there were various scholarships as well right now i didn't apply for it but yeah you can apply and daily transportation cost of you go in cheaper side it would be depend on your route choose chirag Delhi metro for saving money and don't eat from canteen because the food is but the quantity is not much good

I'm in 3 societies join whatever you want to join but in cultural society like dance, music nukad natak these socities may take your whole day if you are interested in dance then follow it because in sem 1 i only have in 1 society that is dance but they take lots of time due to this i didn't focus on my studies

I think the course is not very relevant with the real world application. I think the students need to study themselves for becoming more effective in coding. I choose this course because I think this course is very cost effective at this price. I think the curriculum can be improved and enhanced for better understanding and real world application. The overall experience is average and I must say that the senior are supportive in nature. The campus has volleyball court for students to play. Also many social student welfare groups are run in the campus for better environment in the college. The campus is very clean and well Maintained. I think the campus can be more green and beautiful.

Our campus held fest every year may be like 3-4 times a year . And it held sports week also once a year. There are books for every branch every subject but some author's books aren't there you have to get them from somewhere else. Air conditioned classroom with enough space for students . There are many technical societies in our campus.

I would rate the course curriculum in terms of relevance and compressiveness very good. The course which I'm in i.e electrical engineering, the electrical engineering here is one the best of all NITs. The academic focuses on further academic pursuits very well and real word applications and there are many workshops that focus on that specific area. A bit more interactive classes would be appreciated by the faculties here. Exams are conducted 4 times every year and 2 times every semester which itself is a very genuine and the exams aren't very hard and very standard.

The overall experience with campus life, focusing on social aspects is awesome. There are 3 major fests, sports fest in November, Cultural fest in February and technical fest in April. The classes are all AC rooms with smart boards along with projectors and WiFi. There are various opportunities of sports and extracurricular activities and plenty of space and tools are available. There is large no of opportunities to get a scholarship in nit/iit such as e Kalyan,medhavi etc your total fees will be 1,02,000 rs but there is a provision for fee remission for underprivileged group in nit.the average package of nit jamshedpur is 20 lpa and have a probision of paid internship in 3 rd year.after 2/3 rd remission you have to pay 64333,and after full remission 20 333 .therefore the affordability is good.

My main reason to get into nitjsr is due to the placement stats it has very good placement stats when compared to other nits the average package is 20 lpa and for the electrical branch 18 lpa and the percentage of students placed is roughly 95 percentage in non core the placement in core in nit jsr is also very good and high paid for it.
