British Council Announces GREAT Scholarships 2024 Worth 10.45 Lakhs

The British Council has announced the GREAT Scholarships 2024 for Indians in collaboration with 25 UK universities. A total of 26 GREAT Scholarships will be offered by the UK government this year. You will be eligible to avail this scholarship if you are pursuing education in Business, Marketing, Finance, Psychology, Humanities, Dance, Design, and few other streams.

British Council collaborated with the UK government's GREAT Britain campaign to provide the GREAT Scholarships 2024. Each scholarship will provide at least 10,000 GBP (10.45 lakhs INR) to the student for covering tuition fees for a 1-year postgraduate course during 2024-25 session. The sole purpose of these scholarships is to enhance the access of Indian students in the universities in UK.

The GREAT scholarships 2024 introduced specialized scholarships for Justice and Law Studies. These scholarships will be offered in collaboration with the Ministry for Justice. Indian students interested in areas like human rights, criminal law, property law, and commercial law can avail these scholarships.

With the growth in science and technology fields, the GREAT scholarships 2024-25 will offer scholarships in universities in this field. These scholarships will encompass disciplines like artificial intelligence, sustainable engineering, psychology, and more.

You should secure an offer of admission from any one of the participating universities to avail the GREAT scholarships. Applicants are expected to fulfill all entry requirements outlined by the corresponding institutions. Once you avail the GREAT scholarship, you should be prepared to occasionally speak to potential candidates as an alumnus.
