- The college is too strict with attendance,if a student’s attendance is below 85 he has to pay a fine of ?5000,?3000 and ?2000 and if the student has a less than 75% attendance then he/she is detained which is very wrong ~ Abhinaba Bhuyan, BA

- The campus is beautiful, and situated at the heart of Bangalore, there is a lot of exposure.
- Infrastructure is reasonably good, and general maintenance is excellent
- Campus life is very busy, with about 40 different events happening at any given point of time.
Dislikes
- Faculty is mediocre at best, at worst, I could try teaching the class and would probably do better
- A draconian focus on "discipline": restricitve dress codes and an unrealistic attendance requirement (85%).
- Despite the global exposure, much of the faculty in my department is stuck at eary 2000's ideals and ideas for what a BSc in computer science would get the degree holder in terms of prospects.
Placement Experience:
Placement starts from 5th or 6th semester. Deloitte and DE Shaw seem to be frequent visitors. The highest anyone went in my course was about 16 lpa. The averahe hovers around 3 to 5 lpa. Placement percentages are bleak. I plan to pursue a master's after getting my degree.

- This university is very diverse has people from all around the world and thus i love the diversity.
- We have very amazing lab facilities and the lab assistant as well as the faculties are always ready to help us
- The clubs and social events which makes sure that we grow as a social being as well and not only academics
Dislikes
- Sometimes it seems like we have alot of work in terms of assignments and exams
- Attendance is so strict that sometimes we have to force ourselves to go inspite of being sick
- Dress code is very strict and sometimes we have to return back from the gate only because of this
Course Curriculum Overview:
The exams and our course are indeed difficult but the way it is been taught in our classes help us alot.
For every core paper we have labs where we get to perform experiments after we are made to learn about it.
The course offers wide range of knowledge not only focusing on the core idea

- The campus is lively till late evening .
- People are very much into cultural , educational and sports activities .
- The class timings are very apt . It's easier for students to utilise their free time in doing internships and other stuffs.
Dislikes
- The student teacher ratio is not good . 78 : 1 is not good for a class
- Not all teachers uses power point presentations for their lecture.
- The lifts are not always available for all .
Course Curriculum Overview:
The college takes assessments in regular intervals of time so that the students are always academically active . I had a previous knowledge of the subject legal studies from where I got interest in the subject . But the teaching methods , in my opinion, everyone should use ppts.

- The faculties are very approachable and most of them coordinate amicably
- The opportunities and networking facilities are great

- The classrooms are quite aged so are the buildings giving old school vibes
- Attendance is regulated at 85 whereas other colleges have 75
- Very strict dress code policies which needs to be followed at all times worst being clean shaved
Placement Experience:
Placements have gone down in the recent years due to overall job shortage but however from this year it self goldman sachs and deshaw will be hiring more number of employees from campus placement with a package of around 29 LPA

- Faculty is very good and supportive , they will guide u very well.
- Campus is too good and there are 23 total canteens in central campus.
- Infrastructure is very good and placements is good.
Dislikes
- Teaching method is not good from few teachers
- Over crowded,u have to wait for lift, if u want to go on 9- 10 floor.
- They will put so much pressure and restrictions on your mind in first year.
Placement Experience:
From semester 5 students become eligible for campus placement, there will be many companies will apply for the placements in the college there will be 700 + companies who visits the college every year for placements. The highest package was 33 lakhs for last year and average package was 6 lakh

- The library timings is awesome and a student can borrow 2 books at a time for 21 days .
- Fest and events hosted by various committees within the university. Placements and career scope is really good .
- Discipline and well mannered as well as cooperative faculty members to guide students .
Dislikes
- The attendance rate is 85% which is a bit high i feel .
- Strict dress code including wearing tie, perfect formal shoes, rolled up sleeves .
- Most colleges follow 4 continuous hours of college, Christ follows 4 hours then a break and then 2 hours .

Course Curriculum Overview:
My course which is BSC in Mathematics teaches the students about the concepts of real analysis and mathematical modeling which made me decide to choose this course the curriculum prepares us for real-time application by giving internships in companies and further academic pursuits by providing the students with research in a specific field. The teaching methods and curriculum in the course is fine but need improvement like a better faculty-to-student ratio, etc. The frequency of exams in each semester is generally 3 months with medium level of difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course in Christ is designed to provide a solid foundation in core subjects while also integrating current inmdustrial trends and practical applications. They also provide assignments which develops our social skills and how to approach a corporate firms or organisations.

- The college focuses more on overall development rather than just marks which is a big advantage because of you are from Christ even companies prioritise because of that very reason.
- The campus life is pretty good, classes will be early morning. B com and CA classes combined will get very hectic.
- The faculties are mostly qualified Chartered Accountants with the rest being full time teachers.
Dislikes
- Administration is very bureaucratic and it's not a good thing.
Placement Experience:
Placement are good since there a number of companies that come for placements. I think there were around 60 companies that came in my final year.
The average package would be somewhere around 3,50,000.

- The university is very strict with uniforms and rules
- Attendance is followed very strictly and any shortage of attendance means u won't be allowed to write the test.
- You find people with different ethnicities making it sifficult for you to interact with people.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements in their final year although internships starts from 2nd year.
Few companies that come for placements include Deloitte, amazon, goldman sachs, Infosys etc.
The highest package is 22 lakhs and the avergage package is 7 lakhs.
The percentage of students being placed is around 80 percent (approx)

- The teachers were good, chill and friendly, you did have some black sheep but overall they were really good
- The college is always involved in some or the other fest and for every fest the college is decorated and stall are put up which is really beautiful to watch
- The courses and the syllabus are upto the industry standards and that really helps during placements and jobs
Dislikes
- The college is really strict with regard to attendance irrespective of medical certificate
- Some rules where there are options to be linient aren't that's way, they follow the rules to the extreme
- Incase of some trouble like losing your id card or claiming attendance and stuff, the process is very hectic and long and they make you run from pillar to post to get it approved
Placement Experience:
Students of third year get to sit for placements, average package can be 350000 pa and the highest was 600000 pa, almost everyone who sat for placements got placed as the course chosen was such that the preparation was at ultimate level. We had many companies like Capgemini, EY, Accenture, the big 4s etc.
I am right now pursuing Chartered Accountancy and planning to continue with that
