The brand name to KIIT is massive. It is well known among all people throughout the nation. It is also an Institute Of Eminence(IOE).The college provides a 100% placement in the B.Tech course will an average salary of 3.4-4 lakh per annum. Moreover, the highest package of the 2019 batch was 39 lakhs per annum given by Adobe. In 2020,due to the effect of coronavirus pandemic the highest package of this college has dropped to 30 lakhs per annum(given by Amazon),still that's a massive package. Moreover,my rank was under 1000,which also made be to get a scholarship of Rs. 10,000 per month for the entire 4 years, all these were the driving forces behind me joining this college.

Basically for most of the colleges, CSE and IT department bags the most number of placements, and the same trend is also there in KIIT University. CSE is considered as one of the best branch but apart from CSE IT and ECE is equally good as far as placement is concerned

Placement Experience:
You can start start-ups. Microsoft, deloid, Amazon, IBM, TCS, and many more companies come here. You don't need to worry as you have a CGPA of over 6 or 7, you will get a job. But the bests got the bests, remember.

What is your review of KIIT University?
Kalyan SahuLives in Bhubaneshwar
Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
