There are a whole lot of positives regarding my college the most important being that they take placements very seriously and look into the fact that each and every student gets placed. One negative thing is that the fees structure can be reduced as it's slightly on the higher end and not feasible for many number of people.

Overall postive remarks. Except the fees which is for me pretty much high. Other than that we have all the facilities and everything which would help us. Nice atmosphere, mostly computer science dominated.

Pros cons are all over the world.for me college environment is good but management is not soo good. They can't make one thing in an organized manner. But placement in kiit is one of the greatest thing which makes this college into a next level and now they are planning on making green campus and pollution free campus.

Though it provides a great environment to study it entirely depends on the student of how well they use their resources. The college will be doing their best to help you out. Language barrier could be problem since most of the non departmental staff speak odiya.

Positive thing will be that you will get a lot of opportunities to excel in different sectors apart from studies. You can interact with a lot of people across the globe and even get a chance to work with good companies during internship period.

The “college effect” is the idea that once students are on campus, they're exposed to these higher-risk behaviors and are then more likely to participate in them. It's this unhealthy minority that is somehow so influential on the healthy majority. College is an environment that allows this behavior to thrive.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.
