Course Curriculum Overview:
Faculties are very good in interacting with students and also very kind and supportive and also give good marks according to your performance and some are also very rude but overall they are very supportive and all are almost PhD scholars and also m-tech holders with IITs and also they gave chance to do research under them and here course curriculum is also very research oriented and also focus on development of skills which is very good overview for placement point of view.

- Reputation. The university holds a good reputation among engineering colleges.
- Sports facilities are better than any other university. If you’re a state player then you can aim for the sky here.
Dislikes
- Lack of coding culture. There are not enough people to be doing coding
- A lot of students. The student intake amount here is insane
Course Curriculum Overview:
Though new subjects are constantly being added in the form of electives, I'd still rate the core subjects way behind than what industry demands.
For example, we are made to study subjects like economics which take away too much time considering what other technologies we could learn in that time

KIIT: 1 Answered Question
What is your review of KIIT University?
Kalyan SahuLives in Bhubaneshwar
Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.
