- Campus life Strong Academics: The course curriculum provided a solid foundation in theory
- Vibrant Campus Life: From annual fests and technical events to diverse student clubs, there was always something exciting happening.
Dislikes
- Application Process: Finding specific information and navigating the online application could have been smoother.
- Exam Focus: While exams tested knowledge well, a better balance between theory and practical application would have been beneficial.
- Cost: The fees were on the higher side with annual hikes, but the available financial support was helpful.
Placement Experience:
KIIT boasts an impressive placement record, with companies visiting from the 5th semester onwards. Last year, over 200 companies recruited students, offering a hefty number of job offers. The highest package stood at 70 LPA, while the average package varied across companies and profiles offered. 100 percent of students secured placements through KIIT's efficient process.
Personally, I'm highly motivated by KIIT's strong industry connections and the career opportunities they provide. After graduation, I plan to leverage the skills and knowledge gained through my studies and KIIT's resources to secure a fulfilling position in the IT industry.

KIIT: 1 Answered Question
What is your review of KIIT University?
Kalyan SahuLives in Bhubaneshwar
Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.
