- Flexibility of exams and assignments is good.
- Exposure is great since students from all over India and abroad are here.
- A lot of celebrations all year round, many societies are also available.
Dislikes
- 75% attendance is mandatory and teachers push you to maintain 95% even in second and third year's or get less marks in internals.
- Cost is extremely high but the placements are not that good in comparison.
- Many teachers do partiality and give more marks to a few students especially if they are odia.
Placement Experience:
Highest package was over 60 lakhs and average was 6.5 lpa last year. Almost all students get placed since there's a cell that takes care of that. I want to do jobs for a few years and try to shift abroad after graduation.

- The teaching style, spring fest, holidays ofcourse
- In spring fest , the best part is the concert
- Festivals are also celebrated here with great enthusiasm
Dislikes
- Nothing in particular but the food here is not as good as expected.
- It's a hostel so what can we expect from hostel mess
- And another thing is entry time of girls. In first year our entry was 7. And in second third fourth year also its the same it should be atleast 8 from senior girls.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Here, there are many faculty members and every teacher has a different tecahing style. You can choose your faculty members by whom you want to be taught from second year. In one semester there are two exam mid sem and end sem if one is studying before exam also u will be able to pass and obvio for grades you have to start studying before hand only.

- First thing I liked here is Campus, it's really beautiful in the evening. Also there are many garden where you can enjoy with your friends.
- One of the thing which I liked most here is world class central library, it's really beautiful, you will definitely fall in love with study here
- Another thing which I liked here is classrooms, all the classrooms here are fully AC and tech enabled.
Dislikes
- The thing which I disliked most about kiit is, it's overhyped. They advertises in such a manner that you started thinking about this but believe me they all are SCAMS. Once you get into this college you will know the reality so its better to reaseach
- Another thing which I disliked here is many campuses. You have to cover very long distance if you want to cover all the campuses.
- Another thing which I disliked is fee to placements ratio. You will spend over 20lac here but there is more than 80% that you placed at less than 6lpa so its not worth it at all.
Student Snaps:
Placement Experience:
Placements here are not too good not bad. From 6th semester, companies started visiting campuses for internships, few companies also come in 5th Sem for internships. Main placements starts from the starting of 7th sem. Many good companies visited here like Atlassian, Amazon, JP Morgan, rt camp, Razorpay, etc. but they offered very few students like 2-3 out of 4000+, so you have to really good in both academics and in skills. For 2024 batch, over 150+ companies visited but still more than 1500 students remain unplaced. Average package at kiit is approx. 6.5lpa and highest package offered till now is 63 lpa by Yugabyte, but never run behind this fancies numbers as only 1 or 2 students able to grab this out of 4000+.

- The campus is very good, clean and beautiful.
- The faculty members are very good, experienced and cooperative.
- Great opportunities to develop skills joining various societies other than your course.
Dislikes
- Number of students intake is very high hence competition is high.
Placement Experience:
Placements in KIIT University is decent. But due to greater no. of students the competition becomes very high. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro visits making 1500+ offers. Highest package is 65 lpa and average package is 6-8 lpa. KIIT provides 100% placements. My plan is get a decent placement after getting the degree.

- Seniors and locals are good. There's no ragging policy.
- Environment is greenary everywhere lots of park and garden it have.
Dislikes
- The week culture of bhubneshwar and odisha is just too much.
- The hook up culture is quite more and theirs a lot of chance of getting addicting to clubbing.
- There is no clue of true love here. Everywhere time pass love will be available
Placement Experience:
KIIT offers placement. And it's placement record is going up every year. It's provide a good placement but in KIIT there also is very much competition because of more numbers of students. Big MNCs also visit KIIT.

KIIT: 1 Answered Question
What is your review of KIIT University?
Kalyan SahuLives in Bhubaneshwar
Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
