BHU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Banaras Hindu University also provides placement on each stream. In my BSc bio, many companies come and offer placement to students. And many students proceed with their higher education for their better knowledge. After my bachelor's I will also do my master's.

Students become eligible for campus placement only after the 5th semester. though there are not many companies that come to hire students. The packages are around 15,000 to 25,000. Most of the students don't sit for placements most of them go for further studies. I am also one of them.

Placement depends on the concerned department. As for food technology, there is placement. In the year 2021 the placement for M.Sc food technology is 65%, many media to prominent companies visit in Institute of Agriculture.

The course is extensive and yes the classes run but u can't entirely depend on the college for providing you with all the information as here in the one has got to be self-reliant. Studying in bhu is a good experience.

In our college students get selected for the placement from the 4th year after the 7th semester. The name of companies who visit our college during placement r HDFC Bank, VNR seeds, Pan seeds, Yara, Dehat Private Limited, Nestle Private Limited, and other companies. The highest package is offered rupees 800000 for hereby PRADAN NGO. And the average package is 4.5 lakh per year. The total number of students getting placement is nearly 32 40% placement is there. After completing my BSC Honours agriculture I have decided to go for MSc agriculture and then after that, I will join for placement or I will go for higher studies. Currently, many students of our class are preparing for jrf and after that, they will fight for SRF and join as a professor.

The foreign language department of BHU is great. It offers courses in French, German, Chinese, Italian, Russian and several other languages. All the foreign language departments are under the supervision of Faculty of Arts. Every dept. has its own faculty members of professors, scholars and clerks. Now coming to placements, Amazon and several other companies give the opportunity to students provided you are skilled and talented enough so to they could hire you.

BHU doesn't have the campus placements for the bcom courses. Percentage of Graduates securing a placement here is very low. However, the reputation at this university makes it easier for the students to go for higher studies like masters in finance or business management.

A placement cell is available in our college. Almost 50%to 70% of graduates are hired maximum no of students are hired and get a higher package minimum package 2 lakh and maximum of 8 lakh I'm first year BSC agriculture students and previous year 9 lakh highest salary of the student.

The BHU placement cell looks after all our placements. There are generally 100% placements for MBA students which is a good thing. A diverse kind of companies come for placements like Wipro, Deloitte, Axis Bank, ICICI bank, IBM, Flipkart, Airtel, Berger, Godrej and others. The highest salary of our batch was 21 LPA while the average salary was around 11 LPA. Students get mostly placed in the marketing domain followed by finance and IT.
