As I'm pursuing BA English Honours , it's a very good subject , and it'll open up so many more options in job and job exams in future which other subjects cannot or lesser than that , so that's the number 1 point of pursuing this. Because we as students these days firstly think what we gonna do after studying to earn so it is important to see all the future possibilities. The curriculum prepares us really really well for real world applications and further academic pursuits as it's a real world subject and we get to know so many things everyday. This year the syllabus of English has drastically changed , we have got so many more topics and it is being quite challenging for us cause we aren't even getting help from our seniors with notes or anything , even the teachers are also confused with so many things with our batch. We haven't give our final exam yet so haven't tasted Calcutta University's difficulty level as people say .

The course I'm doing is ba history hons and for me it is a very advantageous course which has a lot of potential and the person opting for it can get a lot of opportunities which is not very common during these times. Teaching is pretty good, could give more notes though.

Asutosh college is very good college for science group. Asutosh college has 7 professors for mathematics department. Similarly college has many professors for other depertment. College has a beautiful libery

Botany is no doubt one of the interesting subjects one can pursue. although it requires immense patience as thf course itself includes lot of practicals where u need to dissect plant parts which is not very quick..

My Course is all about Chemistry where we research with chemicals and my college help us in every step if it is theory or practical. The teachers are awesome . They help anytime whenever we need. They took many class tests for improvement our skills.

This course is not so common in between general people but you will have many scope in future and this course has high paid respectful jobs and also you have a strong affection towards maths and this course is very interesting..

Microbiology is a blooming subject although it would be fair to say that you would get a better job if you pursue your profession career abroad (UK USA)but with the upcoming of various biotechnological startups the demand of microbiologists is increasing at a farely high rate.You can pursue your career in the food industry and quality check industry with very high paying jobs Microbiology is a practical based subject and during your 4 year course you'll be taught the several methods of culturing bacteria ,viral assay and so many more real life technique So basically the 4 year degree is bsc microbiology consists of 8 semester .Each semester is of 6 months each until and unless some very genuine problem arises.Though the difficulty of the university exams is not that high but the checking is very strict.you must be thorough with your syllabus and be in touch with the subject and the syllabus .if you're consistent you will score good

So for a valid reason, I choose this course for get a employee and a banking job. This course's teachers are very helpful not be arrogant, best teaching area near by my college, exams duration are normal according to me and their level is high.

Nowadays the demand for data is increasing for our computer era And without any doubt statistics is a great subject where you can get the opportunity to study numbers and data and to get a bright future in the subject so i choose this subject. I love to read this subject so I decided to study Higher in this subject About changing in study faculty i will like to say about our lab. the lab is quite small that all of our students can't fit in a class so if class get bigger then we can do practical class as well as Exams will be take from college and from University also ....in a year they will take 2 exams ..
