Statistics honours deals with mathematical statistics mainly. You ll learn some amazing subjects like Inference, Sampling, Probability along with programming softwares like SPSS, R etc. This course is highly valuable if you want to work in corporate sector, when you graduate you ll be of high value to companies like the big 4. Ofcourse you can always go for post graduation both from India or abroad(it is valued even more abroad). Then, if you feel like working for the govt. you can try to get into Indian Statistical Services or try CSE (It has statistics as an optional subject). But this is one of the most difficult subjects in CU. It demands your patience along with some serious studying. There may be times when you may feel like this subject is not for you and you ll see people from other courses enjoying more. So if you are not insecure about that and you have interest in mathematics, I would say you are making a great choice.

If you're interested in chemistry and biology both and you're confused what subject you should study...biochemistry is a good option for you. The teachers will make you the best for further higher studies even if you are not really good

Our college provides best faculty members for this subject. Regular tests are taken and a weekly report is given on the basis of students' development. It also provides a first hand experience of the outside world by developing social interactions between seniors and juniors

I had Commerce in my 11th and 12th standard . Accounts was very interesting to me. I liked doing accounts. So I made my decision to pursue Bcom( Finance and Accounting ) honors. I think accounts is thr main subject for all the commerce students and you have to have a good base in accounting from class 11 itself. It has different course and job opportunity. One can also prepare for CA or CMA etc. In todays world demand for this profession is much higher. And one cam get a good job if he or she has accounting as their curriculum. I feel Students should be taught computer based accounting from the school as many school doesn't have it. My college being the No. 1 college in my state sets a bit difficult paper than the other colleges which is expected as best students gets chance in this college.

The subject has huge scope now and even in the future. The curriculum is fine but modifications are welcome. Teaching methods are extremely good. The faculty members are friendly and approachable. The curriculum includes advanced computing skills as well making is more appropriate for the real world.

Statistics is my passion and my college provides me so many facilities what I need.The teacher are really kind and friendly.Statistics department consists of a lab room a computer lab room , departmental class rooms etc.This course may give you a bright future if study in right way.You have to attempt ISI M.Stat and JAM exam after B.Sc.

I think my personal opinion about my bachelor of commerce course is very good. I'm Very much happy with this course. I love to study in my course. I am a student of Government College Maulana Azad college. So fee structure of my college is very minimum like 1710.

The course is really good and the staffs are also really nice. They are very very helpful. Teaching community is also really good. Our curriculums prepare us so that we can one day go out in the real world and dominate in respective fields.

I choose the mathematics.and this course are very good to us .and learning to many things to this course.and the exam are conducted by the university and time duration is three hours and the exams system are semister wise one year are two semester

Statistics is one of the best fields to pursue nowadays as it has more flexible career options. The curriculum prepares you very well for fields like data analytics, data science etc. This course might be a little difficult but if you work hard you'll succeed.
