University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Nothing is perfect in the world. But for me. my college has fulfilled more or less all the dreams I have ever dreamt of college life. I would highly recommend the newcomers to look forward to this college.

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. In the coming years I hope the College will be able to keep up its expectation. “Knowledge is power, knowledge is strength

Our college was a decent one with limited resources but to negligence from the administrative wings of the college, students had suffered from less classes & irregular exam schedules.

It is one of the best commerce college in India. The college is famous for its bcom morning branch. St Xaviers (autonomous) college has secured 7th rank in National Institutional Ranking framework (NIRF).

This is the best college in West Bengal and one of the top colleges in all over this country India.

The college is good. But the college management is sometimes adamant to their views. However, this is always not the case. Overall it is a friendly atmosphere.

The management is very good. I would prefer my college to all those students who are going to take admission in a college after class 12 exam.

There is a lack of space in the campus though It has three buildings.

Everything is good in college but it is better to pay a little attention to college fees.

This colleges is ok. I am very happy, it's not matter what is college, that is a matter of these colleges under University of Calcutta.
