Ans.One of my seniors from school is an alumnus of Amity University and he was very satisfied with the BBA program of the university. He completed his course with ease with a bit of smart work.
The BBA course aims to prepare the students for a life in management in business after successful completion of the degree. The faculty would be productive if the students are proactive in their approach.
Amity University gives ample opportunities to the students for growth if they are willing to take the initiative.
The university is somewhat expensive and the return on investment leaves a lot to be desired. If you are looking forward to BBA then you should start preparing for MBA from the first year itself. Most companies that visit the campus in the hopes of recruiting BBA students are BPOs or KPOs.
Overall, Amity is a decent option for a BBA degree. Read more

Ques. Is Amity University Noida the best for a BA in psychology?
● Top Answer By Anurag Priyadarshan on 01 Mar 21
Ans.One of my friends is pursuing her BA(H) in Applied Psychology from Amity University. According to her experience, Amity University is definitely not the best, but it is not a bad option either. Given below is a brief review of the course.
The faculties are well-qualified. Most of them have their Ph.D. or doing their Ph.D. from Amity University.
Although most of the teachers do not have time to come to the class because of some of the other issues. Sometimes, they are in the middle of a conference, annual function, or a Sangathan or sports day.
At Amity, attendance is a big issue. You need to maintain at least 75% attendance in each subject.
In Amity, you don’t join psychology or any particular course, but the baggage of other subjects like foreign languages, English, BS, EVS, and many more. You will have to study a total of 12 subjects in the first semester itself. Out of these subjects, only some of them are useful, the rest do not even matter if they were a part of the curriculum for psychology or not.
The BA Psychology department has almost 1800 students in the department, 7 sections for BA Psychology Hons, and each section has 60 students. The faculty members are not at par with the count required to teach 7 sections. So, you might face some difficulty with the lectures taught because of the huge crowd of students attending the lecture, all at the same time, in the same hall. But this problem is temporary.
You’ll be told to give a lot of presentations. Which helps improving public speaking skills. There are many extra-curricular activities that help in your overall development. Only proactive students take up the opportunities because this participation in these programs is not compulsory. The schedule in Amity is quite hectic.
Constant seminars and NGO projects are organized alongside your curriculum. There are summer internships for the students, just the way they are organized for other departments.
As far as fee structure is concerned, it will cost you around 1 lakh per year, which is quite high as compared to DU, which has an annual fee of 10,000.
The number of girls in each section is more. The ratio of the number of girls to boys is 8:1. It would be best for you to go for options like Ambedkar University or DU. But Amity is not that bad. You would definitely enjoy those 3 years in the university.Read more
Ans.Ranging from sports to dancing, Amity provides a myriad of opportunities. A student can pursue any course; he/she has interest in.
The syllabus of BCA is the same in all recognised universities in India. Hence, any question regarding the faculty cannot be deduced. In addition, it depends on students how to make lectures productive and beneficial. However, BCA without a master’s degree is of no value. Therefore, for pursuing BCA, an institute is not that important. There is no entrance test for enrollment in BCA at Amity. Anyone having mathematics as one of the subjects in 12th can take admission in Amity.
Amity Noida BCA
1st year non-sponsored semester fee – Rs 90,000
1st year sponsored semester fee- Rs 1.35 lacs
Hitachi, Accenture, Iconma, ZS Associates, Google, Microsoft, HCL, Wipro, etc.
As mentioned earlier, a Master’s degree is important for BCA. Nowadays, BCA is not that popular among Professional courses. Students prefer pursuing B.Tech than BCA. The placements in Amity Noida are somewhat good. However, getting through placements depends on academic record and performance in the interview. There is a specialised placement cell to help students with the interview process.
At last doing BCA from a particular institute does not matter. Because graduating with a master’s degree, like MCA will provide many placement opportunities.Read more

Ques. Is Amity University Noida good for part-time PhD in Management?
● Top Answer By Vikas Hariharan on 23 Feb 21
Ans.One of my friends suggested that nothing is bad in Amity University Noida. Especially talking about the management specialization in this college, it is much better over here. For a full time PhD in Management you can surely opt for it at Amity.
You can also choose part time PhD but they mention that in the certificate too. Because of this the students choose to do part time PhD from other private universities as after completing the PhD for 4 years when a student gets a tag like that then it may create a bad impression for the candidature of the student. This information is also not mentioned by them in the website and at their advertisements for PhD programs.
But Amity being a good college you will get a lot of opportunities over there and if you are smart enough then you will definitely be able to make your career on that. Since the faculties are very good, you will definitely get good support from them in your research work and with your talent and hard work you will definitely be able to reach your goal.
If you are looking for better options then you should prepare for UGC NET. After completing UGC NET exam you will definitely apply for PHD in government colleges. Since this examination is conducted 2 times in a year you have a better chance and time for preparation as well. And after completing PhD from government colleges you will be having more chances in getting a job at Government College. But since this is a competition, anything can happen so people choose private universities for PhD programs.
If you want to do a PhD program from Amity then you should always choose for a full time PhD program or if you want to do a PhD as part time then you can choose any other private university.Read more

Ques. How is Amity University, Noida for 3 year law?
● Top Answer By Sanovar Lohia on 17 Apr 21
Ans.As far as a review of doing a 3 year LLB from Amity Law College, Noida, a friend of mine who did the course was not too keen on the college. According to her, the overall reputation of the college is not very good. As far as the faculty is concerned, it is alright, nothing extraordinary.
If you want to seriously pursue a law degree, a complete five-year law course is much better appreciated in the market. And if you are looking at placements, they are not that good. You will have to look for a job on your own if you are not from the top three national law schools. If not, do an LLM from abroad. That will probably help.
However, if you intend to pursue law within the country itself, you should look at colleges in South India that could be better than Amity Noida. Try IFIM law school as a first. Definitely don’t go to Amity Law School Noida.
Ques. Which university is better for a BBA LLB, Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune, Amity Noida, or VIT Vellore?
● Top Answer By Deepika Kunwar on 22 Nov 20
Ans.The three institutes to be analyzed are premier institutes offering BBA LLB courses, but the best among them can be chosen through certain basic factors discussed below.
Ranking & Accreditations:
Amity has backed up major accreditations like it is among the top 3% universities globally. It has UK & US accreditation.
BVP has been ranked among the top law schools of the country by Outlook, India Today, and NIRF cycle consecutively for the third time.
VIT also enjoys the status of Institute Of Eminence.
Being a dual degree integrated course, the duration generally stands equivalent to 5 years. The course enjoys a full-time status.
BVP offers this course with a fee range of Rs.3.75 Lakhs.
Amity Noida provides the course with fees, Rs. 12.65 Lakhs.
VIT Vellore offers the course at Rs. 8.2 Lakhs.
The difference surely can be recognized in fee range but is also prevalent in the curriculum. VIT and BVP offer a good course structure but Amity’s semester subjects are more detailed and give deep insight into the legal & managerial aspects.
The eligibility criterion stands the same in all the three colleges which is 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks.
Amity conducts its own round of tests including three major elements like English test, subject test, and interview for 120 seats.
VIT apart from minimum eligibility accepts CLAT/LSAT score.
BVP accepts the All India Law Entrance Test score as the parameter for selection for its 180 seats.
BBA (LLB) is a course where most students go for higher studies instead of looking up for placements although the placements are as follows.
Amity offers an average package of Rs. 4 LPA and the highest of RS. 16 LPA.
VIT being a predominantly engineering institute tries to maintain a decent package. The average CTC offered at VIT is 6.05 lakhs per annum.
BVP university also offers limited opportunities for BBA LLB but students having a good academic record definitely back up great placements. The average CTC offered at the college is 7.5 LPA.
Amity has a high fee range but it is worth its investment due to the large number of facilities offered by the university. VIT and BVP can also be a good option for pursuing BBA- LLB. So, choose according to your convenience.Read more
Ques. Which university is better for a B.A, LLB Sharda University, or Amity University, Noida?
● Top Answer By Akankshya Pattanaik on 03 Oct 20
Ans.Sharda University, situated in Noida ranked 28 for Law by India Today 2020. Amity University, Noida ranked 20 for Law by The Week 2020.
Eligible candidates with 50% marks in 12th need to appear for the Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) but candidates who have valid scores in CLAT/LSAT are eligible for direct admission.
The selection process is followed by a personal Interview.
Cut off for Sharda University is 50% marks in 12th to apply for SUAT for the candidates who did not appear in LSAT or CLAT.
In the case of Amity University, the final selection of the Law candidates is done on the basis of an English Written Test, which is conducted by the University but candidates with 80% and above aggregates are eligible to direct admission.
Amity requires candidates to clear the English written test, and candidates above 80% get direct admission.
At Sharda the total fees structure for B.A.LLB program is 8.6 Lakhs. Whereas, the fees structure for B.A. LLB program is 14.9 Lakhs in Amity.
Sharda University witnessed the highest salary package of 6.5 LPA and the lowest salary package of 3 LPA in last year's placement.
The recruiting companies for Sharda University are Amazon.com, Aon Hewitt, HDFC Bank, CITI Bank, etc.
Amity University witnessed the highest package of 6 lakhs per annum and the average placement of 3 lakhs per annum in the 2019 placement drive.
AIS, Berger Paints, Dabur, Genpact, HCL Technologies, IBM are some of the top recruiters at IITM.
After comparing both Universities on the basis of five parameters, we can conclude that Sharda University is surely one of the best universities among the two for B.A. LLB program along with 28th rank by India Today. The fee structure for Sharda is also lower than Amity.Read more
Ques. Is Amity University, Noida a better option than KIIT, Bhubaneswar for a B.Tech?
● Top Answer By Keshav Jindal on 17 Apr 21
Ans.You should definitely not join Amity University at all. A friend of mine decided to take admission there and is now highly regretting it. As far as fees are concerned, KIIT is a little more expensive as compared to Amity. At KIIT you can expect to pay around INR 4.29 lakhs for the first year whereas, at Amity Noida, you will pay close to INR 3.11 lakhs for the first year.
When you get into KIIT, you will realize that you are paying for every single thing that you will do.
As far as the quality of education is concerned, it is the guidance of the teachers and professors that will steer you in the direction of your goals. But Amity does not have good faculty and you will probably not get good research exposure either. KIIT would be better here.
Infrastructure-wise, both colleges are about the same. However, the hostel and food facilities at KIIT are not that good.
But, when it comes to the sports facilities, these are extremely well developed and you will also have a lot of fun with the extracurricular activities that are carried out in college.
You will gain exposure to a lot of new things through societies like quiz, literary, photography, social responsibility cell, and RON.
As far as placements are concerned, you shoukd maintain a good CGPA so you will definitely get placed at one of the campus drives that happen every year at KIIT.
Both colleges offer a high CTC of INR 30 LPA, but on average pay scale-wise, KIIT is better with an average of INR 6 LPA as compared to Amity which offers just INR 4 LPA.
In my opinion, if you are joining a private university, always look at the placements as this will give you a better idea about the college. In this case, KIIT is better than Amity. Hope this helps.Read more
Ques. Which one of the two is better for an MBA, Amity Noida or Amity Gurgaon?
● Top Answer By Unacademy on 07 May 21
Ans.Amity University Uttar Pradesh’s first campus was in Noida. Amity Gurgaon is one of the recent establishments of the Amity family.
Amity Noida is considered to be the head of all the Amity campuses. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Google, Wipro, TCS, etc. visit the Noida campus first for placements. Students of Amity Gurgaon can also go for placements at Amity Noida. They are open to student participation.
Reliance, Microsoft, Capgemini, Infosys, etc.
Accenture, Amazon, HCL, Hi-Tech Gears Limited, etc.
Finally, it depends on your choice and what you prefer as an institution. Do check the college ranking and whatever they are offering from the official website. Also, you could ask ex-students for a proper insight about the college.
It is suggested that you go for Amity Noida as it holds a better position and is one of the first and the oldest campuses of Amity University.Read more
Ans.Amity Noida has 3 institutes, i.e. Amity Business School (ABS), AIBS (Amity International Business School), AGBS (Amity Global Business School).
ABS is quite reputed among students and worth every penny you spend there. However, Amity is not AICTE approved. Although the degrees offered by Amity are UGC recognized.
One of my friends did pursue his MBA from amity and he says he had a great experience. The faculty base at Amity is a mix of good and average teachers. The placement is quite good too with many MNCs visiting the campus for placements.
Here’s a brief highlight of the institute.
Overall, ABS is a decent option for MBA. The other two institutes are not that good.
Ques. Which college is better, the Aayojan School of Architecture or Amity University (Noida) for a BArch?
● Top Answer By Nikkil Visha on 23 Feb 21
Ans.Aayojan school of Architecture is not favored by the students in comparison to Amity University. The college makes the students work on tougher projects. They will pressurize to complete the work on time. The performance, if not up to the mark, receives demotion. The teachers will redo your assignments a lot of time. Very few college teachers are cooperative, rest are college alumni who are very strict. The college environment has been made like a school campus where the students don’t have the independence to do anything without teacher’s permission.
Also the computers are not allowed to be used till you reach 2nd year of college. The mess and hostel facilities are also not good. One of my friends suggested that you should work more hard and try to get admission at NIT, IIT or SPA for better learning and environment.
Aayojan school of Architecture
Cube, Mindscape, Arcop, Mya Praxis, Mistry Architects, etc.
L&T, Supertech, etc.
Although Amity Noida is good, it is far more expensive. You can also check for admission at Gateway school of Panipat near NCR Sonipat.
For admissions check the rankings, faculties and overall performance of the college. Architecture is all about moving, travelling and exploring new places so the location does not matter, but how much the college is allowing you to move around and learn independently is more important.Read more
