Stevens Institute of Technology is located at the hilly Castle Point on Hudson in Hoboken, New Jersey, overlooking the prestigious Hudson River and the beautiful New York City skyline

Hoboken- stevens home is ranked by the Princeton Review as one of the top college towns in the country

Facilities on campus include Engineering Design Laboratories, anechoic chambers, ultramodern lecture theatre, Wireless Network Security Center (WiNSeC), 95,000 square-foot magnificent structure of Lawrence T. Babbio, Jr. Center for Technology Management, library, and athletic facilities. Currently, there are 100 student organizations, and 18 social sororities and fraternities like the Lore-El Centre for Women's Leadership, Stevens LEADS, and Diversity Education, etc.

Residence Facilities at Stevens Institute of Technology

On-campus residence halls are only available to first-year students. Non-first year students can choose any of the university lease housing options.

There are seven residence halls for first-year students with amenities like campus include air conditioning, free laundry services, full kitchen, full WIFI coverage, swipe card door access, emergency phone, tennis court, garbage, and recycling cans, etc

There are 12 Stevens Leased Housing with fully furnished apartments reserved for upper-class students.

Students living in leased housing can commute to the campus via a shuttle ride or take a short walk. There is Special interest housing for students who share similar interests.

Graduate students are at liberty to live at the leased housing, off-campus in Hoboken or in the city or neighboring communities. Rates for 0n-campus housing, Greek Housing, and special interest housing range from 4,300 USD to 6,400 USD per semester.

Stevens Leased Housing Rates range from 7,800 USD to 8,300 USD per semester with at least one meal plan. Dining rates range from 550 USD 3,530 USD per semester

Stevens Institute of Technology offers programs across 35 Undergraduate majors, 58 Master's degrees, 22 Ph.D. programs (including two interdisciplinary programs) and more than 100 Graduate certificates.

Mode of Lectures delivery is on-campus, online, corporate campus and modular/on-demand.

11 Special programs are infused into the school curriculum to serve the diverse needs of the students amongst them are Pinnacle Scholars Program, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Research Program, STEP, iStem, and Stevens ACES. 32% of the total admitted students in fall 2019 were international students.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

94% of full-time beginning undergraduates across all programs received financial aid

International students are not eligible for federal funding. But international students are offered scholarships to afford their studies in the USA. International students can apply for a limited number of merit scholarships (ranging from 5,000 USD to full tuition) like The Martha Bayard Stevens Scholarship, The Ann P. Neupauer Scholarship, etc.

 International students can also be considered for an institutional scholarship like Global Scholar Award.

International students are eligible for private loans, home country funding, international funding, or an interest-free installment plan. Exceptional Graduate applicants are eligible for fellowships

International graduate students are also eligible for Stevens research and teaching assistantships for a tuition waiver, tuition, and other fees waiver, or partial tuition waiver, and/or hourly pay or annual stipend.

Alumni Network

Graduates of all undergraduate and graduate programs are automatically considered a member of the alumni network. The alumni network organizes reunions, meetups, events to keep graduates of the school knitted in one bond. Stevens alumni invented IMAP, bubble wrap; and the Gantt chart, a hanging art form known as the mobile, among many other innovations.

Notable alumni of Stevens are Frederick Reines- a Nobel Prize award winner, who discovered the neutrino thus validating the "Big Bang" theory of the universe's creation and Koji Seki- Director of Hewlett-Packard Company.

The career center offers personalized career guidance, professional workshop development and varieties of on-campus recruitment for students. Within six months of graduation, 96% of 2019 graduates have secured highly competitive employment and admission to graduate programs.
