Ques. What is the cut off rank for Nirma university for BA LLB?

● Top Answer By Sukriti Pathak on 01 Jun 21

Ans. As the stature of the ILNU is continuously increasing, the competitiveness has also hiked in the past few years.  The Institute of Law, Nirma University admits students on the basis of their CLAT cut-offs. It is subjected to vary each year, and you should keep check for clear updates. However, you can be assured that it will be higher than other private law schools and lower-tier NLUs.  For example, the cut-off range of CLAT back in the year 2016 was 124. The cut-off partially depends on your All India Rank as they call the top 500 applicants in ILNU for the counseling session rank-wise. In a way, out of all the 500 candidates, a slot of only 150 will be selected.  It depends on the rise criteria. What mostly has been seen previously was that if a student obtains their All India Rank below 3000, then he or she has a higher probability of acquiring admission.Read more

Ques. Is it worth spending around 12 lakhs for BALLB in Nirma University?

● Top Answer By Akansha Bajaj on 15 May 21

Ans. The answer depends on you entirely. You can give Nirma University a slip if you are getting offers from NLUs. But if you are not getting the top NLUs, Nirma University is one of the best private universities out there. Nirma University promises to give the students better placements than some of the lower-tier NLUs. Nirma University is high on discipline and most of its students dislike this about the university. What you should remember is that there is not much difference between how much you will pay if you end up studying in an NLU, and how much you will pay if you study at Nirma University in five years.  Nirma University is not as popular in the area of law as the top-tier NLUs even though it is pretty popular if we consider private institutes. If you have the skills and knowledge appropriate for placement, you will be placed at Nirma University. But getting good placements depends a lot on how much effort you put in.  If you work hard, 12 lakhs will definitely be worth it.Read more

Ques. How is Bennett University, Greater Noida for a BBA LLB (Honours)?

● Top Answer By Indira Banerjee on 14 May 21

Ans. A few years back a friend of mine was in a situation when he had to make a choice between lower ranked NIUs and Bennett University. After much consideration he chooses Bennett. According to him, it was the best choice. He had a great experience at the institute.  Here is his input about the BBA LLB course at Bennett University.  Faculty- In the School of Law particularly, the faculty appointed is unmatchable even by the top National Law Schools. Bennett has the best faculty with professors holding PhDs from top institutions such as the London School of Economics, and in India, such as IIM’s, NLS Bengaluru, NALSAR Hyderabad. They impart education in the most modern ways. Tech Learning- All the learning is E-learning through modern methods acquired from international universities such as Cornell University, New York, USA. one simply needs pen and paper only during the exams. Association - Bennett University is associated directly with Johnson Cornell University, New York, USA. The teachers from The Partner University visit Bennett University for teaching. Bennett has exchange programs and other international cultural programs with these partner institutes. Law School Events- The Law school in its 1st year of formation conducted various events and even an Intra-Law School Fest with sponsors such as The Times of India, Manupatra, Law Skills, Contrario, etc. The fest involved the participation of Professors as well as Students.  Student Bar Association- The Student Bar Association is a student-run body that takes care of the student’s aspects and the running of the School of Law alongside the administration. There are many clubs and committees under SBA which are managed by student moderators with the members.  Law Library- The BU SOL has a Law Library inaugurated by Shri Ram Jethmalani Ji. The library is vast. In addition to the books and e-books, it contains various law Databases such as West Law. Hope this gives you an idea about the course.Read more

Ques. How is Amity University, Noida for 3 year law?

● Top Answer By Nikita Sen on 17 Apr 21

Ans. As far as a review of doing a 3 year LLB from Amity Law College, Noida, a friend of mine who did the course was not too keen on the college. According to her, the overall reputation of the college is not very good. As far as the faculty is concerned, it is alright, nothing extraordinary. If you want to seriously pursue a law degree, a complete five-year law course is much better appreciated in the market. And if you are looking at placements, they are not that good. You will have to look for a job on your own if you are not from the top three national law schools. If not, do an LLM from abroad. That will probably help. However, if you intend to pursue law within the country itself, you should look at colleges in South India that could be better than Amity Noida. Try IFIM law school as a first. Definitely don’t go to Amity Law School Noida.  Read more
