IBSAT 2020 Exam Centers, Region and State-wise IBSAT Test Cities

    IBSAT Exam Centers are predefined by ICFAI Foundation, the coordinating body of the management exam. For this year, IBSAT exam will be held at approximately 95 centers all over India. Candidates must choose the exam center carefully while filling in IBSAT Application Form, as once assigned, it can not be changed at later stages. IBSAT 2020 is scheduled to take place on December 21-22 for admission to 9 IBS campuses –  Kolkata, Pune, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Jaipur. 

    • The exam centers are divided in five regions- East,West, South, North and Central. Details regarding the exam center, date and time allotted to the candidate will be mentioned on IBSAT Admit Card.
    • Candidates should report to the test center at least 1 hour prior to the test timings carrying their admit card, colored passport size photo and original photo ID. Any items such as calculators, watches, books, notes, gadgets and textual material is prohibited inside the exam hall. 
    • Selection Briefing process will be launched on January 11, 2020 and will end on January 19, 2020 for applicants who appear for IBSAT 2020. Graduate candidates qualifying IBS Aptitude Test will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at the official IBS Hyderabad Campus on February 22-29, 2020, while prospective Ph.D applicants who pass the selection briefing eligibility will be called on March 7-8, 2020

    IBSAT Exam Centers 2020

    IBS Aptitude Test will be conducted across multiple cities of the country. The preference for test cities will be provided at the time of Slot Booking. Candidates need to choose one of the 95 cities as their center of choice among 16 cities in the east zone, 12 in the west zone, 19 cities in the south zone, 6 cities in the central zone. Check the region wise test centers for IBSAT exam:

    Documents Required at IBSAT Exam Center 2020

    Candidates are required to carry few documents at the time of IBSAT exam. Mentioned below are mandatory documents that a candidate needs to produce at the time of exam.

    1. Candidates must bring IBSAT Admit Card on exam day. One should not forget to bring their admit card to the exam center of IBSAT 2020. Without the admit card, one will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
    2. Candidates should carry a valid ID proof along with their admit card to the exam center. It could be any document from the following:
    • College ID Proof
    • Employer ID
    • PAN Card
    • Voter ID card
    • Passport
    • Aadhaar Card
    • Driving License
    • UID
    1. Candidates should carry two passport size photos same as the one uploaded at the time of registration.  

    Note: Candidates should make sure that they are not carrying along any electronic items, gadgets, watch, cosmetics, jewellry, calculator, or textual material such as notes or books. Calculators, bags, and stationary material is prohibited inside the exam center.

    Ques: IBSAT 2020 is going to be held in how many cities of India?

    Ans: IBSAT 2020 is going to be held in approximately 95 cities of India.

    Ques. What is the eligibility for IBSAT’s PH.D Program in Management? 

    Ans. The following requirements are neccessary for admission into the PhD program in Management: 

    • Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks with the medium of instruction as English AND
    • Post Graduation in Management (full time with a specialization in Marketing/ Finance / Human Resource Management / Operations) from a UGC approved University with 55% marks or above OR
    • Post Graduation in Economics, Commerce, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or in an allied discipline from a UGC recognized university in India or abroad with 55% and above marks. 
    • Candidates who are offered admission are required to undertake the first year MBA courses as a pre-requisite to continue in the PhD program OR
    • A professional qualification like CFA / CA / CWA / CS with 55% and above marks
    • There is no age limit to apply for IBSAT 
    • Candidates cannot avail a management quota or NRI quota for IBS Business School 

    Ques. What is the eligibility for IBSAT’s PhD program in Economics? 

    Ans. The following requirements are neccessary for admission in the PhD program in Economics: 

    • Graduation with 50% and above marks with the medium of instruction as English AND
    • All applicants should have completed a minimum of 17 years of regular education (on 10 +2 +3 + 2 or 10 + 2 + 4 + 2)
    • Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation / and or post graduation have to submit the TOEFL / NELT / IELTS score by May 31, 2020
    • There is no age limit to apply for IBSAT 
    • There is no management or NRI quota for admission to IBS Business School

    Ques. What IBSAT 2020 Test Center should I choose if I live in South India? 

    Ans. You can choose one of the following test centers: 

    Tirupati, Bangalore, Karnool, Vijaywada, Vishakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Mangalore, Mysore, Khammam, Kochi, Kozhikode, Chennai, Thrissur, Trivandrum, Coimbatore, Madurai, Hyderabad, Goa and Warangal.  

    Ques. What IBSAT 2020 Test Center should I choose if I live in North India? 

    Ans. You can choose one of the following test centers: 

    Ambala, Hissar, Karnal, Rohtak, Udaipur, Chandigarh, Mandi, Shimla, Jammu, Jodhpur, Delhi, Gwalior, Haldwani, Noida, Ajmer, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Alwar, Greater Noida, Ludhiana, Jhalandar, Jaipur, Kota, Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, Meerut, Allahabad, Varanasi, Aligarh, Bareilly, Gorakhur, Moradadbad, and Haridwar. 

    Ques. How do I take a loan for my IBS (MBA/PGPM/PhD) Program? 

    Ans. Candidates selected for IBPS Programs can avail educational loans from public / private sector banks. The maximum loan amount provided by the bank is of 10 lakhs INR for each program. The loan amount is disbursed by the bank as per the fee schedule. 

    Candidates can take an educational loan from the following institutions:

    Ans: Candidates need to carry all these documents on the exam center:

    Ques: If I forget to bring my admit card at the exam center, will they allow me to take the exam?

    Ans: No, you will not be allowed to take exam without the admit card.

    Ques: In how many session IBSAT exam will be conducted?

    Ans: IBSAT 2020 will be conducted in two session 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
